System, method, and apparatus for magnetic surface coverings
The present invention pertains to the art of floor coverings, and, more particularly to an apparatus for use in securing floor covering units to an underlay and a method of manufacturing said floor covering units and said underlay. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus, method, and method of manufacturing magnetized floor covering units and magnetized underlays for securing magnetized floor covering units.
Tile unit
Disclosed is a tile unit (10) that includes a resin net (20), a plurality of tiles (30) disposed on a front side of the resin net, and a magnet sheet (40) disposed on a back side of the resin net, with the tiles being bonded and fixed to the magnet sheet with the resin net interposed therebetween.
Method and Apparatus for Wall Planks
A wall tile adapted to be molded from materials, including PVC composition material, and comprising: a planar top panel, which comprises an urethane stain shield, a second planar panel which comprises a first Polyvinyl chloride composition, a third planar panel which comprises a composite material having 3D printing on it, a Fourth planar panel which comprises a webbed fiberglass composition, a fifth planar panel which comprises a magnetic substrate, a sixth planar panel which comprises a second Polyvinyl chloride composition, and a seventh panel which comprises a self-adhesive composition.
ADJUSTABLE HANGER SYSTEM FOR MODULAR PANELS
A hanger system includes an adjustable panel hanger. The adjustable panel hanger includes a connector member, a base member configured to removably attach to the connector member and to clamp onto a support member, wherein the base member includes a base flange, and a hanger member adjustably affixable on the base flange. Optionally, the hanger system may further include a modular panel connectable to the base member via the hanger member.
MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHING A FIRST OBJECT TO A SECOND OBJECT
A magnetic attachment assembly for attaching a first object to a second object includes a first and second ferromagnetic devices possessing an attractive magnetic property pulling each toward one another. The first ferromagnetic device is attached to the first object and an adhesive layer on the second ferromagnetic device is for attaching the second ferromagnetic device to the second object. A removable separator is initially positioned intermediate the first ferromagnetic device and the second ferromagnetic device and is frictionally held in place prior to attachment of the second ferromagnetic device to the second object. During installation, the user pushes the attachment assembly onto the second object, pulls the first ferromagnetic device away from the second ferromagnetic device, removes the separator, and then pushes the first ferromagnetic device back to the second ferromagnetic device thereby attaching the first object to the second object.
Backsplash installation hardware
Systems and method for supporting a cover material to a support material include a coupling device that includes an inner coupler and an outer coupler. The inner coupler and the outer coupler are separably joined. The inner coupler may be attached to the support material, and the outer coupler may be attached to the cover material.
Tile with magnetic type material and covered with a layer of parchment and process thereof
The present invention relates generally to a tile or panel having at least one magnetic material embedded therein, and fully or partially covered with at least one layer of parchment. The invention also encompasses at least one discrete permanent magnet that is placed at an appropriate location within a panel or tile, and wherein at least a portion of the panel or tile and the at least one magnet are then optionally covered with at least one layer of at least one barrier material, and then at least one parchment layer partially or fully envelopes this assembly. The inventive tile having at least one magnetic type material can have at least one indicia or design on at least one surface, and the inventive tile can be magnetically attached to a wall or another panel having at least one magnetic type material to form a wall or panel surface.
A fastening device for fastening elements
A fastening device for fastening soft surfaced elements to each other comprises a planar top portion and two side portions. The side portions are coupled with the planar portion at one end via an angle portion, and are arranged essentially perpendicularly in relation to said planar top portion and essentially parallel with each other thereby forming a receiving opening for receiving said element between the side portions. In addition the side portions both comprise at least one tooth, which is inclined towards the opening and the element in use and thereby arranged to fasten, such as via friction or via penetration into the surface of the element, and thereby fasten the device to the element. Moreover at least one of the portions comprises a protrusion portion for receiving, focusing and attaching a magnetic member to the device so to allow the device to be fastened to an external member via said magnetic member.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING GIRIH STRAPWORK PATTERNS
A kit that includes multiple rectilinear elongate polygonal elements having five unique shapes, four of which are concave polygonal elements. In some examples, when arranged with respect to one another, the elements of the kit form a girih strapwork pattern. In one aspect, respective elements in a kit may include bezels or boarders along longer sides to enhance an over/under weaving effect of the girih strapwork pattern. In other aspects, one or more elements may be formed as a tray, and some of the trays may include various components or materials disposed in the tray (e.g., architectural surface materials, biological systems, various electronic components) to provide for a variety of creative designs and structural/sculptural installations for built environments. In some implementations, one or more such trays may have beveled rims so as to appear light and thin when viewed.
MODULAR MAGNETICALLY RECEPTIVE WOOD AND ENGINEERED WOOD SURFACE UNITS AND MAGNETIC BOX SYSTEM FOR COVERING FLOORS, WALLS, AND OTHER SURFACES
The present invention provides a system, method, and apparatus for installing modular wood, engineered hardwood, and hardwood surface covering units on walls, floors, and other surfaces. The modular surface covering units have multiple layers. The layers are an outer layer, a wood, engineered hardwood, or hardwood layer, and a magnetic layer. Other layers or combinations of layers may also be used.
