Wedge Device for Leveling Tiles and Clip Set for Use of Same
A wedge device for leveling tiles and a clip set for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the wedge device, the wedge device includes a body having an attachment end, a penetrating edge, a top, and a bottom. The attachment end is coupled to a backstop member and the penetrating edge is configured to penetrate the clip member. The body includes an inclined plane tapering from the attachment end to the penetrating edge. A line-of-sight opening extends along a longitudinal axis of the body to provide visibility through the body from the top to the bottom.
Lippage control system with stretchable strap portion
A tile aligning and lippage tuning system that uses a single piece base and strap which is designed to break away from the base when sufficient pressure is applied and is also designed to stretch along a thin wall region before separation of the strap from the base occurs.
Levelling spacer device for laying slab products for cladding laying surfaces, and a computer program product
Provided is a levelling spacer device for laying slab products for cladding laying surfaces. In some embodiments, the levelling spacer device includes a support having a base and a separator element provided with a through-window with two upper tilted sub-edges and a lower edge; and a presser wedge to be inserted in the through-window and to slide restingly on the in-view surface of the slab products, with an upper face having two adjacent areas running longitudinally along the length of the pressing wedge, and that are tilted downwards towards each other along a common convergent axis, and that cooperate, each, with a respective one of the two upper tilted sub-edges to push the slab products downwards. Also provided is a computer program product for manufacturing the presently disclosed device by 3D printing.
Pre-finished insulated panel system for cladding a building
A pre-finished insulated panel system for cladding an exterior wall of a building, the system comprising: rectangular panels each with an insulation core and weather resistant coating defining a central portion with a panel thickness between an inside mounting surface and an exposed outside surface, the plurality of panels adapted for engagement in a series of parallel rows; each panel having: a mounting flange disposed on the top edge and on a first lateral edge of each panel, the mounting flange including: a recessed mounting groove; an inner ridge; and an outer ridge; an elongate cover flange complementary with the mounting flange disposed on the bottom edge and on an opposing second lateral edge, the cover flange including: an inner groove complementary to the inner ridge; and an outer groove complementary to the outer ridge; and mechanical fasteners within the recessed mounting groove and anchoring to the wall.
Device for Leveling and Aligning Tiles and Method for Leveling and Aligning Tiles
A device for leveling and aligning tiles and method for leveling and aligning tiles are disclosed. In one embodiment, the leveling device includes a body and two spaced and parallel strip members extending transversely from the body. Each of the spaced and parallel strip members extend to the front and rear of the body. Two opposing lateral open windows are formed in the body. A breakaway section is defined along the body. A wedge device is provided for penetrating one or more of the two opposing lateral open windows and exerting a force on the tiles for leveling them relative to each other.
Waterproof side trim system for exterior of buildings
A system for providing siding to a building is disclosed. The system utilizes components which have their own brackets with attachment flanges in order to connect directly to an exterior wall of the building. The brackets contain their own integrated water control systems, which co-act with those of other components to control and direct water into vertical channels and out from behind the siding system. These flanges double as self-contained flashing. In all the system presents a roof-to-foundation siding system that is self-contained and fully transitional from one piece to another.
Self-spacing lap siding product
A lap siding product with a unique shiplap joint that spaces abutting pieces of siding correctly from each other without installer measurements. The shiplap joint comprises a bottom element and a top element. A lap siding panel or board has a bottom element shiplap joint at one end, and a top elements shiplap joint at the other end. The corresponding ends of two lap siding panels or boards (i.e., one bottom element and one top element) together form the unique shiplap joint of the present invention. An engineered stop on the underside of the top element spaces the pieces of siding correctly, without requiring measurement during installation. This also eliminates the need for caulk, pan flashing or joint covers in the joint between the pieces of siding or cladding. The shape of the joint also reduces the intrusion of water, and re-directs water down and out from behind the siding.
Knob couplable to a spacer-leveller of tiles for laying the tiles on flat surfaces
A knob is screwable to a tile spacer-leveler for together defining a tile alignment device. The knob comprises (i) a body, (ii) elastically-deformable connectors on the knob body, (iii) first and second fixing elements comprising respective threaded slots, supported by the connectors and arrangeable in a first arrangement wherein the threaded rod of a tile separator can be inserted into and removed from the threaded slots without screwing in a second arrangement in which the rod insertion and removal takes place only by screwing, (iv) a blocking element separated from the knob body for elastically deforming the connectors to change the arrangement of the first and second fixing elements to (a) insert the rod between the threaded slots of the first and second fixing means without screw-tightening thereof, (b) screw the knob to the threaded rod with the fixing elements in the second arrangement to align the tiles, and (c) remove the threaded rod without screwing.
Mechanical locking of floor panels
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising tongue and grooves provided with protrusions and cavities which are displaceable in relation to each other and configured such that the protrusions can obtain a vertically unlocked position where they match the cavities and a vertically locked position where the protrusions overlap each other.
