SELF-SPACING LAP SIDING PRODUCT
20220042319 · 2022-02-10 ·

A lap siding product with a unique shiplap joint that spaces abutting pieces of siding correctly from each other without installer measurements. The shiplap joint comprises a bottom element and a top element. A lap siding panel or board has a bottom element shiplap joint at one end, and a top elements shiplap joint at the other end. The corresponding ends of two lap siding panels or boards (i.e., one bottom element and one top element) together form the unique shiplap joint of the present invention. One or more drainage channels or grooves help re-direct water from the joint, and at least one of the channels or grooves also provides a visual element for proper spacing. An engineered “stop” on the underside of the top element also helps space the pieces of siding correctly, without requiring measurement during installation.

PANEL WALL STRUCTURE FOR USE IN A TOWER/FRAME STRUCTURE AND COOLING TOWER

A double wall panel member for use in a panel wall is provided which includes a tongue-configured end and a groove-configured end. The panel member includes a first outer wall spaced laterally from a second outer wall, and the groove-configured end has a first groove wall portion extending from the first outer wall and a second groove wall portion extending from the second outer wall, where the first groove wall portion extends further outward than the second groove wall portion. When connected, the wall panel members are assembled with the groove end pointing or oriented upward (not downward) and the tongue end pointing or oriented downward (not upward).

Panel suitable for assembling a waterproof floor or wall covering, method of producing a panel

The invention relates in a first aspect, to a panel suitable for assembling a waterproof floor or wall covering by interconnecting a plurality of said panels with each other, wherein the panel has a substantially planar top surface, and a substantially planar bottom surface, at least four substantially linear side edges comprising at least one pair of opposite side edges which are provided with interconnecting coupling means for interconnecting one panel within another. The invention also relates to a method of producing a panel according to the invention.

Floor or wall covering panel with rigid composite core layer

A floor or wall covering panel has a top and a bottom surface, and at least four sides, where a first and a second side include a first and a second connection profile, respectively, the first profile being configured for mechanically engaging and interlocking with the second profile of another panel, the first profile including a tongue protruding beyond the top edge of the first side, where the second profile includes a groove recessed with respect to the top edge of the second side, the groove is delimited at its bottom by a base, the panel is of laminar structure including a rigid core layer and a wear layer arranged on the core layer, where the core layer includes a first and a second sublayer of a first and a second composite material, respectively, the second sublayer being arranged atop the first sublayer, where both composite materials comprise thermoplastic material and filler material but are of different formulations, and the base delimiting the groove bottom is realized essentially within the first core sublayer.

COMPOSITE INSULATING PANEL

An insulating siding panel comprises a backing member, and a siding member. The backing member comprises a front face, a rear face, a top face, and a bottom face. The siding member has an upper end, a lower end, and a nailing divot. An upper end of the backing member combines with the upper end of the siding member to form a tongue. A groove is defined in the bottom face of the backing member that is complementary in shape to the tongue. the nailing divot of the lower panel may be concealed by a front section of the backing member of the upper panel.

Decorative Panel, and Decorative Floor Covering Consisting of Said Panels

In the field of decorative floor coverings, decorative panels are known having a MDF (Medium Density Board) or HDF (High Density Board) based core layer on top of which a decorative substrate is attached to provide the panels a desired appearance. The invention relates to a panel, in particular a decorative panel, a floor panel, a ceiling panel or a wall panel. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of mutually coupled panels.

SURFACE ELEMENT
20220034729 · 2022-02-03 ·

The invention relates to a surface element (1), intended for use as a floor, wall and/or ceiling surface element for a floor, wall and/or ceiling covering, having at least one carrier plate (2) and at least one functional layer (3), wherein the carrier plate (2) comprises a top side (5) facing a usable side (4) and an underside (7) opposite the top side (5) and facing the underground (6). According to the invention, it is provided that the functional layer (3) is provided underneath the carrier plate (2), and that the functional layer (3) is designed in such a way that, in the installed state, it projects beyond the side edge (10) of the side (8), in particular of the long side (9), on at least one side (8), especially on at least one long side (9).

PRECAST CLADDING PANELS WITH PROFILED PANEL EDGES
20220307269 · 2022-09-29 ·

A precast cladding panel has upper and lower edges that, as viewed in transverse vertical cross-section through the panel, are profiled for overlapping engagement with complementarily-profiled edges of vertically-adjacent cladding panels in a coplanar cladding panel assembly mounted to a supporting structure. The upper edge of the panel defines a convex horizontal ridge, and the lower edge of the panel defines a concave horizontal recess, such that the convex horizontal ridge on the upper edge of one panel will project into the concave recess of the lower edge of a similar panel mounted immediately above it. The convex configuration of the upper edge of the panel promotes drainage of water out of horizontal joints between panels in the mounted assembly of cladding panels, and the overlapping engagement of vertically-adjacent panels impedes or prevents the entry of wind-driven rain into the cladding structure via the horizontal joints between panels.

A covering element includes a carrier plate having a mineral material, the carrier plate formed as a flat mineral carrier plate with a content of cement larger than 35 percent by volume and with a content of natural fibers of 1 to 40% by volume. The carrier plate has a thickness between 3 and 15 mm and carries a polymer-containing decor layer on a front side of the carrier plate. Complementary recesses and protrusions are provided on opposing lateral edges of the carrier plate of the covering element, such that in an assembled condition of two or more covering elements the complementary recesses and protrusions engage with each other, wherein a portion of a polymer contained in the polymer containing decor layer penetrates into the carrier plate.
