PANELS AND METHODS OF PREPARATION THEREOF
Composite panels and methods of use and manufacturing are described herein. The composite panels may comprise a foam composite and one or more layers of a facing material. The foam composite may have a density less than or equal to 20 pcf, and the layer(s) of facing material, e.g., inorganic facing material, may have a thickness of 1/16 inch to 1 inch covering at least the front surface of the foam composite.
Tile alternative material
Methods and associated apparatuses are described herein that provide a tile alternative material. The tile alternative material may be manufactured by providing a substrate that defines a first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface is configured to be secure, via an adhesive or otherwise, to a support surface. The method further includes coating an exterior layer on the first surface of the substrate, and forming a pattern element in the first surface of the substrate. Forming the pattern element includes removing material from the substrate and the coated exterior layer of the first surface to form one or more recessed portions.
Exterior cladding panels and methods for installing them
One aspect of the disclosure is an exterior cladding panel including one or more courses of simulated shingles, a locking clip extending from a front face of the exterior cladding panel, and a locking leg extending from a rear face of the exterior cladding panel. The exterior cladding panel also includes a first plurality of tabs extending from a top edge of the exterior cladding panel, where each tab in the first plurality of tabs includes at least one projection extending approximately perpendicular to the front face. A respective top end of each tab in the first plurality of tabs extends a common distance from the top edge of the exterior cladding panel. A second plurality of tabs extends from the top edge of the exterior cladding panel, where a respective top end of each tab in the second plurality of tabs extends the common distance from the top edge.
Kit of decorative wall panels and enclosures made thereof
There is described a shower enclosure and kit of walls therefor. The kit of decorative wall panels comprise a first wall panel including a front face, the front face of the first wall panel defining a first decorative pattern and including a relief element, a second wall panel including a front face, the front face of the second wall panel defining a second decorative pattern, and a connecting assembly for connecting the first wall panel adjacent to the second wall panel. The first decorative pattern of the first wall panel and the second decorative pattern of the second wall panel are configured to counteract a visual distortion caused by the relief element of the first wall panel when the first wall panel is adjacent to the second wall panel.
Wall panel
A wall panel may have a rigid layer, a first insulation layer made from a two-part rigid urethane pour foam, and a second insulation layer made from a phase change material. The first insulation layer may be chemically bonded to the rigid layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. The first insulation layer may be positioned between the second insulation layer and the rigid layer. The rigid layer may be a finished surface or a veneer layer may be applied to the rigid layer.

Method of manufacturing a substrate for a floor panel
A method for manufacturing a single- or multi-layered substrate, which is suitable for a floor panel, where, for forming a substrate layer, thermoplastic material is strewn, for example, onto a transport device. The strewn thermoplastic material is consolidated under the influence of pressure and/or heat, preferably in a press device, where the thermoplastic material to be strewn comprises micronized material.
Finger Joint Panel
In accordance with an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein, a panel that comprises a plurality of ornamental sections having a predefined shape, the plurality of ornamental sections are arranged in rows that form a staggered arrangement with protruding rows and recessed rows between the protruding rows along at least one edge of the panel. A plurality of interior grooves are located between the ornamental sections, the interior grooves having a first width. A plurality of partial grooves having a second width are located along the at least one edge of the panel. Ornamental sections at an edge of a protruding row comprise convex curves having a first radius at their edges. Ornamental sections at the edge of recessed rows comprise concave curves having a second radius at their edges.
WALL PANEL
The invention is related to a method of manufacturing a wall panel and a wall panel system. The method includes: forming a glass-fiber reinforced rigid magnesium oxide layer including the steps of: pouring or injecting a slurry of uncured magnesium oxide into a mold, embedding glass fiber reinforcing material therein, and curing the magnesium oxide to obtain the glass-fiber reinforced rigid magnesium oxide layer having a first side and a second side; applying, to the second side of the rigid magnesium oxide layer, an insulation layer, the insulation layer comprising a foam; and applying to the first side of the rigid layer a veneer layer.
RANDOMIZED SURFACE PANEL KIT AND SURFACE PANEL SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates generally to surface panels for covering a building surface. The disclosure relates more particularly to a surface panel kit and system including a set of panels for attaching to a support structure. Each of the panels includes opposing ends, and each end includes one of a group of end configurations. A first end configuration is mateable with a first portion of the group and is unmateable with a second portion of the group, and a second end configuration is mateable with a third portion of the group and is unmateable with a fourth portion of the group. The set of panels includes at least three panel types including a first panel type with the first and second end configurations, a second panel type with the first and without the second end configurations, and a third panel type with the second and without the first end configurations.
