SIDING PANEL SYSTEM WITH FULL DEPTH KEYWAYS

A panel configured for attachment to a mounting surface includes raised faces extending between upper and lower edges thereof. The raised faces define a face plane. A shoulder is defined on the raised faces adjacent the upper edge and is spaced from the mounting surface by a shoulder offset. The face plane is also spaced from the mounting surface by the shoulder offset. Keyways are defined between the raised faces and recessed from the face plane. The keyways are spaced from the mounting surface by a bottom keyway offset adjacent the lower edge. The bottom keyway offset is substantially equal to the shoulder offset. Therefore, the face plane of the raised faces at the upper edge of the panel is spaced from the mounting surface by substantially the same distance as the keyways are spaced from the mounting surface at the lower edge of the panel.

Solid surface material

A solid surface material apparatus and process is disclosed which comprises a first solid material comprising acrylic modified polyester resin, at least one natural mineral filler, and at least one colorant and/or at least one granule configured in a sheet with at least one channel cut into the top surface of it and a second solid surface material comprising an acrylic modified polyester resin, at least one natural mineral filler, and at least one colorant and/or at least one granule which at least partially fills the at least one channel of the first solid surface material.

Device for surface covering

A device includes a substrate (20), a first adhesive (33), and a carrier layer (50). The substrate has a finish layer (40). The substrate has sufficient flexibility to allow manual rolling and to allow manual unrolling without damage. The substrate has a plurality of discontinuous segments (70A, 70B, 70C). The first adhesive is disposed on an opposing side of the finish layer. The first adhesive is configured for pressure sensitive bonding. The first adhesive has a release characteristic such that the substrate can be bonded and disbonded relative to a substantially planar surface and incur no damage. The carrier layer (50) is bonded to the finish layer by a second adhesive (55). The second adhesive is configured to retain the plurality of discontinuous segments infixed spatial alignment. The second adhesive is configured to cleanly disbond from the finish layer by manual peeling.

Simulated Log Siding

Simulated log siding is formed of an engineered cementitious composite. Single or dual flanges on each log piece is used to apply siding units to a surface. Some siding members are molded into a three dimensional configuration to appear as a structural wood log. Individual end pieces and molded tail clusters when used with the siding provide the appearance of the characteristic stacked or staggered corners of a log structure.

EXTERIOR POLYMER-BASED BRICK BUILDING MATERIAL

A simulated brick includes a polymeric core member and a laminate adhered to the core member. The core member and the laminate together define a brick profile portion having first and second lateral sides extending to a planar outer surface to define a first thickness, an offset portion extending from the first lateral side of the brick profile portion to a lateral end surface and having an outer surface defining a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, and a rectangular base surface extending from the second lateral side of the brick profile portion to the lateral end surface of the offset portion. The laminate covers the core member to define the first and second lateral sides and the outer surface of the brick profile portion, and the lateral end surface and the outer surface of the offset portion, and the core member is uncovered by the laminate on the base surface such that the core member defines the base surface.

SIDING OR ROOFING PANEL SYSTEM

A panel for attachment to a mounting surface includes a plurality of raised faces formed and extending between an upper edge and a lower edge of the panel, and a plurality of recessed keyways defined between each of the raised faces. The panel may have a recessed base at the lower edge of the keyways defining a fold lip adjacent the mounting surface, and a full base formed at the lower edge of the raised faces and extending beyond the recessed base.

Exterior polymer-based brick building material

A simulated brick includes a polymeric core member, a mesh layer adhered to the core member, a basecoat layer covering an entirety of the mesh layer, and a finish layer covering an entirety of the basecoat layer. The core member, the mesh layer, the basecoat layer, and the finish layer together define a brick profile portion having first and second lateral sides extending to a planar outer surface to define a first thickness, and an offset portion extending from the first lateral side of the brick profile portion to a lateral end surface and having an outer surface defining a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, the brick profile portion and the offset portion together defining a planar rectangular base surface extending from the second lateral side of the brick profile portion to the lateral end surface of the offset portion.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DECOR SHEET FOR DECORATIVE PANEL

A method is provided for manufacturing a decorative sheet for decorative panels. The method may involve providing a first printed substrate having a printed color patch having at least one printed color spot. The first printed substrate may be subjected to at least a predetermined operation that causes a color shift of the color spot. A first color coordinate set may be determined for the color spot. A first ICC profile may be determined using the first color coordinate set. A first master image may be visualized on a display device using the first ICC profile. An image processing operation may be performed on the first master image to obtain a second master image during the visualization. The second master image may be printed on a second substrate to obtain the decorative layer.

Floor plank with foam core

The floor member has a closed-cell foam core that constitutes approximately 50% of the overall thickness of the floor member. All constituents of the floor member, including a design layer, wear layer and resilient foam plastic underlayer, are highly water resistant and essentially water repellant. The closed-cell foam core is relatively lightweight and the floor member is also relatively lightweight compared to equally dimensioned floor planks formed exclusively of solid laminated plastic materials or wood-based laminated materials. The floor member has edge connecting means for convenient floating floor installation without the need to adhere the floor member to a floor base. The floor member is also easy to handle to permit a do-it-yourselfer to install a floor covering with the floor member.
