Roof paver locking system and methods for installing pavers
An apparatus and methods lock together pavers on a roof deck to reduce uplift pressure and increase stability and strength in a variety of environmental conditions. More specifically, a paver lock apparatus is placed in grooves on the top side of a multiple of pavers and locked to a stationary object, such as the roof or a pedestal placed on the roof underneath the deck. Roof pavers are manufactured with grooves on the paver surface to hold the paver lock apparatus. The pavers are loose laid on paver pedestals and the paver lock apparatus is laid into the grooves of multiple adjacent pavers and locked into place by connecting the paver lock apparatus to the paver pedestal.
Deck pedestal
A method of fabricating a plate for a support pedestal used to support a building surface component above a fixed surface includes forming one or more ribs into a sheet of material adjacent a periphery of the sheet so that the rib extends substantially continuously about a central axis of the sheet that is perpendicular to first and second opposite surfaces of the sheet and creating a series of spacer tabs out of the sheet between the central axis and the rib that are configured to space adjacent building surface components placed over the sheet.
PROFILED ELEMENT FOR LAYING RAISED FLOORS, AND RAISED FLOOR COMPRISING SUCH PROFILED ELEMENT
A profiled element for laying raised floors, which comprises a first flat portion that extends longitudinally and a second flat portion that extends longitudinally in the same direction as the first portion and is arranged transversely with respect to the arrangement of the first portion, grip protrusions for an adhesive for coverings or floors being defined on the second flat portion.
ADJUSTABLE PEDESTAL FOR PARTITION
A pedestal for supporting a partition and a method for a partition. The pedestal includes a base for mounting onto a floor, the base having a peripheral outer surface. The pedestal also includes a body having a first end opposite a second end and an inner surface proximate the first end interfacing with the base peripheral outer surface. A cap is coupled to the body proximate the second end, and a bracket is coupled to the cap for coupling with a partition. The method includes connecting a base to a floor, coupling a body of to the base, coupling a sleeve to the base on which is coupled a bracket, and coupling the partition to the bracket.
Deck pedestal
A support pedestal for adjustably supporting a building surface component above a fixed surface and including a base member having a base plate that is configured to be placed upon a surface, a support member having a support plate that is configured to support at least one building surface component, and an adjustment apparatus interconnecting the base member and the support member that facilitates adjustment of each of the base member and support member relative to the other of the base member and the support member in numerous manners. The adjustment apparatus includes a first connector receivable in a first receiver attached to and extending away from one of the base plate or support plate, a second connector attachable to the other of the base plate or support plate, and a shaft threadably interconnecting the base and support connectors.
FORMING DEVICE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING FORMING DEVICE
A forming device for forming an adhesive composition into a ridged shape in a laying surface on which tiles are laid including: a stationary blade in which a plurality of plate-shaped tongue parts are disposed in a planar fashion and the respective base ends of the tongue parts are linearly arranged with a gap having a predetermined length therebetween; a main body which secures the stationary blade and is disposed on the stationary blade so as to be movable sideways while pressing the stationary blade from above; a storage space which is defined on the underside of the main body and on the traveling direction side of the lateral movement of the stationary blade; and a weir member which is affixed to the main body or the stationary blade so as to be movable relative to the stationary blade.
Connection system of terrace boards with each other and with the base on which the terrace is placed
A system for connecting the terrace boards to each other and to the base on which the terrace is placed comprises a support board (2), a connector (4) and a fastening element (5). The support board (2) has open recesses (3a, 3b) formed between the converging side walls (2a) transverse to their common edge (2a), and the connector (4) is in the form of a mushroom containing a head (4a), a leg (4b) and a through hole (4c) for the fastening element (5). The support board (2) is fixed to the bottom surface of the terrace board (1), the head (4a) of the connector (4) is situated in a socket (3) formed by the recesses (3a, 3b) of the adjacent support boards (2), and the leg (4b) of the connector (4) is positioned in a gap(s) between the corners of the adjacent support boards (2), the terrace boards (1) being fixed to the base by the fastening element (5) positioned in the opening (4c) of the connector (4).
A TILE OR PAVER SPACER AND LEVELLING ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a tile levelling assembly, system and method. The assembly allows two or more tiles to be levelled even when the assembly is covered by the tiles. In some embodiments, the assembly comprises a top part and a bottom part, each part having a corresponding helical ramp which causes the height of the assembly to vary upon rotation of the bottom part, thereby levelling the tiles. A turnkey is able to access the assembly through the spacing between the tiles to effect the levelling action.
