Method for Improving the Ventilation Effectiveness of Large Conditioned Air Plenum Environments Including Such Environments in Multilevel Raised Floor Electro-Mechanical Distribution Systems
The present invention is intended for use in large conditioned air plenum environments and particularly in the plenum environment of multilevel raised floor electro-mechanical distribution systems. The invention comprises the step of providing at least one height change of dedicated conditioned air plenum, which alters the plenum's volume. This makes it possible to maintain the preferred static pressure and velocity for conditioned air throughout the entire plenum even as the amount of air in the plenum decreases as conditioned air discharges into the intended space outside of the plenum.
RAISED FLOOR ARRANGEMENT AND PEDESTAL MEMBER FOR SUPPORTING TILES OF A RAISED FLOOR ARRANGEMENT
The invention provides a raised access flooring arrangement comprising floor tiles mounted at different heights to create recessed spaces within which lighting elements may be mounted. The floor tiles are supported by a plurality of pedestal elements, each adapted for supporting tiles at the different heights.
Restraint system for elevated flooring tiles
A restraint system for an elevated building surface assembly including restraint members that are receivable in gaps adjacent outer edge segments of flooring units to secure the flooring units to an underlying support structure. The restraint members may be readily manipulated to allow for the selective removal of one or more of the flooring units for replacement thereof, access to the support structure, and/or the like.
Paver pedestal and method of installing same
Pedestals for supporting pavers on a roof or other surface are provided. In some cases the pedestal has a cylindrical core, a base coupled to the cylindrical core and positioned to support the cylindrical core, and a support plate coupled to the cylindrical core and adapted to support at least one paver. In some cases, the pedestal includes an anchoring assembly having a collar positioned axially between the base and the support plate, and an arm extending radially outward from the collar and having a distal end adapted to be mounted to the roof or other surface at a location spaced apart from the cylindrical core. Also, in some cases a mounting member is provided that extends to and between a first location proximate the cylindrical core and a second location on the roof or other surface distal from the cylindrical core and the base. In some cases, top and bottom pads are used to receive a paver therebetween, wherein the top and/or bottom pads are adapted to rotate relative to the cylindrical core.
Device for compensating a slope of a construction surface
Set comprising a device for slope compensation of a construction surface and a fixing foot having a gripping member, which device comprises a first and second slope compensation element mounted as to rotate with respect to each other, each element presents a range having a predetermined number of positions where each position corresponds to a slope compensation value, the first and second element comprising a first, respectively a second, series of windows applied each time on each of the elements, the windows of said first and second series of windows being arranged such that for each of the positions, where slope compensation value of the first and second slope compensation element corresponds, at least one of the windows of each of the slope compensation elements being positioned such as to be opposite to each other, the windows when positioned opposite to each other serve to engage the gripping member.
SYNTHETIC TURF SYSTEM
Example implementations of a synthetic turf system comprise a turf tray and a turf element. The turf tray is rigid and planar, and has a lattice structure extending within the lateral perimeter. The turf element includes a backing portion and a blade portion. The blade portion is defined by a plurality of blades of artificial grass affixed to the backing portion, the backing portion is placed secured engagement with the upper side by way of, for example, adhesive or screws. The turf trays may include perimeter and auxiliary adhesive tracks, and an array of screw retention bosses. The system may include a sprinkler assembly mountable in the turf trays for washing down the turf elements. The sprinkler assembly may include mounting flanges configurable to accommodate mounting of various sprinklers. The system may include height-adjustable pedestals or joists to support the turf trays at a distance above the local horizonal surface.
Apparatus and related methods of paving a subsurface
Disclosed may be an intermediate surface for supporting a small paver, wherein the surface can also be used to exchange heat with the pavers. In one embodiment, the apparatus may be a tray defined by a frame with a lattice for supporting pavers. The tray preferably features a tubing track throughout the lattice to accommodate heat exchange tubing. In operation the tray may be positioned above a pedestal or directly on a subsurface. In embodiment, the tray may be outfitted with insulation and a metal plate so that heat may be exchanged with pedestals via fluid passing through tubing installed throughout the lattice. In a preferred embodiment, the tray features a slot in its corners for receiving a locking disk or locking slider.
ADJUSTABLE PEDESTAL FOR PARTITION
A pedestal for supporting a partition and a method for a partition. The pedestal includes a base for mounting onto a floor, the base having a peripheral outer surface. The pedestal also includes a body having a first end opposite a second end and an inner surface proximate the first end interfacing with the base peripheral outer surface. A cap is coupled to the body proximate the second end, and a bracket is coupled to the cap for coupling with a partition. The method includes connecting a base to a floor, coupling a body of to the base, coupling a sleeve to the base on which is coupled a bracket, and coupling the partition to the bracket.
Plant Tray
A planting system having a plurality of potting trays that can be interconnected in a modular fashion to create a multitude of different configurations. Each potting tray has a plurality of holes operatively connected with a conduit through which plumbing can be incorporated into the planting system to water plants in the potting trays via the plurality of holes. A plurality of pedestals may be used to elevate the planting system. Lateral braces may be used to interconnect the plurality of pedestals.
Deck pedestal
A support pedestal for adjustably supporting a building surface component above a fixed surface and including a base member having a base plate that is configured to be placed upon a surface, a support member having a support plate that is configured to support at least one building surface component, and an adjustment apparatus interconnecting the base member and the support member that facilitates adjustment of each of the base member and support member relative to the other of the base member and the support member in numerous manners. The adjustment apparatus includes a first connector receivable in a first receiver attached to and extending away from one of the base plate or support plate, a second connector attachable to the other of the base plate or support plate, and a shaft threadably interconnecting the base and support connectors.
