METHOD TO PRODUCE A VENEERED ELEMENT AND A VENEERED ELEMENT
A method to produce a veneered element, the method including applying a first layer on a substrate, applying a second layer on a veneer layer, applying the veneer layer with the second layer applied thereto on the first layer, such that the second layer is facing the first layer, pressing the first layer, the second layer and the veneer layer together to form a veneered element, thereby material originating from the second layer permeates into the veneer layer, and wherein, after pressing, the first layer is visible through a crack, cavity, hole and/or knot of the veneer layer. Also, a veneered element.
METHOD TO PRODUCE A VENEERED ELEMENT AND A VENEERED ELEMENT
A method to produce a veneered element, the method including applying a first layer on a substrate, applying a second layer on the first layer, applying a veneer layer on the second layer, pressing the first layer, the second layer and the veneer layer together to form a veneered element, wherein, after pressing, the second layer is transparent or translucent such that the first layer is visible through a crack, cavity, hole and/or knot of the veneer layer. Also, such a veneered element.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A TIMBER COMPOSITE, THE TIMBER COMPOSITE OBTAINED AND DECORATIVE PANELS COMPRISING SUCH TIMBER COMPOSITE
A timber composite with timber layers and an adhesive matrix, wherein the timber layers include a wood grain with both summer wood grain and spring wood grain, wherein at least one surface of the timber composite includes raised portions and depressed portions, wherein the raised portions correspond to the summer wood grain and the depressed portions correspond to the spring wood grain.
EXTERIOR ENGINEERED WOOD DECK SYSTEM
A system for constructing a deck using engineered wood products, including, but not limited to, structural composite lumber (SCL). Deck boards may be formed from a plurality of veneer layers treated with fire protection treatments, preservatives and/or other chemical treatments, which may be specific to a particular veneer layer, and assembled with adhesives binding the layers together in a stack, resulting in a deck board with unique properties in aggregate. The veneer layers directly adjacent to the two outer face layers may be positioned so that the direction of the wood grain is cross-directional to the direction of the wood grain in the surface layers. The boards are also subject to a multi-layer surface finishing treatment with aesthetic components and a protective component.
System and method for haptic mapping of a configurable virtual reality environment
A system for providing a virtual reality experience includes a display associated with a field of view of a user. A virtual reality system renders a virtual realty world responsive to a movement of the user and displays the rendered virtual reality world to a user through the display. A configurable virtual reality environment model may be configured to place physical walls in a location that corresponds to a virtual wall located within with virtual realty world such that when the display shows the user touching a wall in the virtual reality world, the user feels the physical wall placed in the configurable virtual reality environment.
Method of manufacturing a timber composite, the timber composite obtained and decorative panels comprising such timber composite
A method of manufacturing a timber composite (7) is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of applying adhesive to one or more timber layers (23-226), applying pressure to the one or more timber layers, and heating the timber layers. The adhesive penetrates into the one or more timber layers and cures to form the timber composite (7). One or more spacers (332) may be positioned between the timber layers. The invention also related to timber composite (7) obtainable by such method and to decorative panels (1) comprising such timber composite (7) as a top layer.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HIGH DENSITY COMPOSITE WOOD BOARD AND HIGH DENSITY COMPOSITE WOOD BOARD WITH EMBOSS EFFECT
WOOD-BAMBOO DOUBLE LAYER FLOOR
The present disclosure discloses a wood-bamboo double layer floor including a top panel and bottom panel. The top panel is long strip shape and made by the whole log. The bottom panel is made by the whole log. Wood fiber directions of the top panel are parallel to a long side of the floor. Wood fiber directions of the bottom panel are parallel or perpendicular to the long side. The top panel and bottom panel are adhered by adhesive. Patchwork opens are pieced up to each other and made around the bottom panel. Grooves are defined in the bottom panel and arranged in a row along a direction being perpendicular to the wood fiber directions of the bottom panel. bamboo strips embedded and adhered in the grooves, are matched with the grooves. And bamboo fiber directions are the same as length directions of the bamboo strips.
Decorative panels comprising a timber composite
A decorative panel including a substrate material and decorative top layer, wherein the decorative top layer includes at least one timber layer, wherein the timber layer is a compressed timber layer with a permanent increased density as compared to an original timber layer, wherein the decorative panel is a square or rectangular floor panel which, at, at least one pair of opposite edges, or at both pairs, includes mechanical coupling allowing to couple two of such floor panels to each other such that a locking is created in a vertical direction perpendicular to a plane of the coupled panels, as well as in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a coupled edge and in the plane of the coupled panels, the mechanical coupling being in the substrate material.
DECORATIVE PANELS COMPRISING A TIMBER COMPOSITE
A decorative panel including a substrate material and decorative top layer includes a compressed timber layer with a permanent increased density. The panel is a floor panel including a mechanical coupling so a locking is created in a vertical direction perpendicular to a plane of the coupled panels, and in a horizontal direction perpendicular to coupled edges and in the plane of the coupled panels. The coupling allows coupling by a downward-directed movement where a first edge includes a male coupling part that can be pushed into a recess of a female coupling part to lock in the vertical direction due to a pair of a cooperating heel of the male coupling part and the recess of the female coupling part, wherein the recess is formed by substrate material of the second edge and a resilient element arranged in the substrate material of the second edge.
