Floor panel
In a floor panel (10) including a foamed cement board (1) having at least a foamed cement layer (3), a top plate (5a) attached to an upper surface of the foamed cement board (1), and a bottom plate (5b) attached to a lower surface of the foamed cement board (1). The foamed cement layer (3) is configured so that the layer (3) has a porous hardened cement phase and a fiber dispersed in the phase. Also, the layer (3) has a thickness within a range from 12 to 30 mm and a specific gravity within a range from 0.8 to 1.5. Thereby, the floor panel can be light in weight while desired strengths for the floor panel are established. The floor panel can be readily produced without any complicated processes.
Tile panel, and a surface covering constructed by a multitude of neighbouring tile panels
The invention relates to a tile panel which includes a support panel which is essentially flat and has a top side onto which one or more tiles are adhered by an adhesive, wherein the support panel is made from a material which is different than the material from which the one or more tiles are made, and the top side of the support panel includes a recessed structure in which the adhesive is present. The invention also relates to a surface covering, in particular for a floor, ceiling or wall surface, which is constructed by a multitude of neighbouring tile panels.
Hard surface veneer and wood polymer composite flooring tile
An apparatus includes a first floor tile that includes a bottom layer that is composed of a wood polymer composite and having a main portion, a tongue portion extending beyond a first edge of the main portion, a groove portion extending within the main portion at a second edge of the main portion opposite the first edge, the base portion having a width. The first floor tile includes a top layer that is composed of ceramic and having a width greater than the width of the main portion, the top layer fixed to the bottom layer such that (1) a first edge of the top layer extends beyond the first edge of the main portion and covers a portion of the tongue portion, (2) a second edge of the top layer extends beyond the second edge of the main portion and covers a portion of the tongue portion.
Tile Panel, and a Surface Covering Constructed by a Multitude of Neighbouring Tile Panels
A tile panel including a support panel that has a top side onto which one or more tiles are adhered by an adhesive, at least the top side of the support panel includes an essentially mineral material or a mineral composite material, the adhesive covers a contact surface at least partially between the support panel and the at least one tile positioned on top of said support panel, the support panel includes a recessed structure at least partially defined by pores present in the top side of the support panel, at least one tile includes a recessed structure partially defined by pores present in the bottom side of said at least one tile, said pores are at least partially filled with adhesive, and said one or more tiles are made from a material chosen from the group including sliceable natural stone, marble, concrete, limestone, granite, slate, glass, and ceramics.
FLOOR ELEMENT, LOCKING SYSTEM FOR FLOOR ELEMENTS, FLOOR COVERING AND METHOD FOR COMPOSING SUCH FLOOR ELEMENTS TO A FLOOR COVERING
Floor element of the type which, at least at two opposite edges, comprises coupling means enabling two of such floor elements to cooperate with each other at the respective edges, wherein the floor element comprises at least two components, as well as entity-forming means, which, starting from the aforementioned components, can form an entity including the components, wherein said components can adopt at least two mutual positions, whether or not by means of the disruption of the entity formed by said entity-forming means.
Hard Surface Connection System, Method and Product
A tile system for covering a surface. The tile system comprises first and second tile assemblies, each tile assembly having a connector comprising a first attachment feature and a second attachment feature. The first attachment component is configured to engage with a corresponding second attachment component of an adjacent connector. The connectors include or are configured to receive at least one magnetic component and preferably to maintain a gap between complementary magnetic elements when the first and second tile assemblies are connected. Also provided is a tool for removing a tile assembly from the tile system.
Wood fibre based panel with a surface layer
A building panel with a surface layer including a wood veneer, a wood fibre based core and a sub-layer between the surface layer and the core. The sub-layer includes wood fibres and a binder. The surface layer has surface portions including material from the sub-layer. The surface portions including material from the sub-layer extend into the wood veneer.
Method of producing a veneered element
A method of producing a veneered element, including providing a substrate, applying a sub-layer on a surface of the substrate, applying a veneer layer on the sub-layer, and applying pressure to the veneer layer and/or the substrate, such that at least a portion of the sub-layer permeates through the veneer layer. Also, such a veneered element.
FLOOR ELEMENT FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING AND A FLOOR COVERING
Floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises a decorative layer, a support layer, and optionally an intermediate layer disposed between the decorative layer and the support layer, wherein the decorative layer is made of a brittle material, wherein the floor elements comprises edges provided with coupling elements adapted to cooperate with coupling elements of an adjacent similar floor element in said floor covering and wherein the intermediate layer comprises at least one edge that is offset relative to a respective edge of the decorative layer.
