Custom Decorative Articles and System, Apparatus, and Method for Providing the Same
A method for determining an edge profile of a custom decorative article to be installed in an installation area is disclosed, the installation area having a perimeter having a plurality of corners. A computing device receives data indicative of a plurality of coordinates corresponding to the plurality of corners of the perimeter of the installation area. Based on at least first, second, and third coordinates respectively corresponding to first, second, and third corners of the plurality of corners of the perimeter of the installation area, the computing device determines dimensional and/or geometric characteristics of a pair of opposed portions of the edge profile that, in an installed position, are configured to meet to form a corner of the custom decorative article when installed at the second corner of the perimeter of the installation area.
MODULAR CURBS
Provided herein are protective mold devices for the protection of structural surfaces, equipment, machinery, and users thereof. In particular, mold devices for securing to a structural surface (e.g., wall, divider, door opening frame, etc.) are provided that form a cavity between the structural surface and the mold for impregnation with a filler material.
System and method for securing power and communications cables and associated hardware within crown molding
A system for crown molding that enables safely incorporating electrical and communications cabling within crown molding by creating one or more protected paths which inherently prevent overly sharp bends in crown molding corners and by mitigating damage from penetrating punctures through a decorated face designed to fracture when improperly penetrated by a screw or nail, and enables the secure installation of hardware either concealed within the molding or securely and favorably positioned through the decorative face to view or sense a room, and enables additional cable capacity that is concealed within a light reflector to increase lighting efficacy as well as power and data delivery capacity.
Profile system
A profile system for use with structures having a tiled base includes at least one elongate profile that has a base arm, two side arms of the same length projecting from the free ends of the base arm and arranged lying opposite one another, and two terminating arms which project from the free ends of the side arms and are aligned with one another, the side arms being arranged a distance apart from one another and the distance being at least 10 mm.
ADHESIVE BASEBOARD
The present disclosure generally relates to baseboards and methods of making and using baseboards. Some baseboards described herein include a foam body having a first major surface opposite and separated from a second major surface and a top surface opposite and separated from a bottom surface; the foam body including a foam having a density of between about 20 kg/m.sup.3 and about 100 kg/m.sup.3; a rigid coating on one of the first or second major surfaces of the foam body; the rigid coating having a modulus of elasticity of between about 1000 MPa and about 10,000 MPa and a thickness of between about 200 to about 1000 micrometers; and optionally an adhesive layer on the other of the first or second major surfaces of the foam body. In some embodiments, the baseboards have a modulus of elasticity of at least 100 MPa. This ensures that they are sufficiently rigid while remaining hand-cuttable.
Securement Devices for Securing Molding to a Surface, and Methods of Securing Molding to a Surface
This disclosure includes a securement device for securing molding to a surface. The securement device has a base attached to a surface. A stem extends from the base and has a top portion opposite from the base. A pair of flexible curved structures extends laterally from opposite sides of the stem toward the base.

LOW DENSITY CELLULAR PVC BOARDS WITH SEALED EDGES
A method for making ornamental trim for use in construction comprising applying a sealing composition having PVC particles in a flowable medium to a cut edge of a foam board, heating the sealing composition to a temperature at which the flowable medium solvates the PVC particles, and cooling the sealing composition to form a continuous sealing cap on the cut edge. A construction component consisting essentially of a foamed cellular board comprising smooth exterior surfaces separated by a cellular network and cut edges, and sealed caps adhered to the cut edges on the foamed cellular board comprising PVC in a polymer matrix. The board has a density of no more than 0.5 g/cm.sup.3, and the cut edges on which the sealed caps are adhered are unmelted edges.
FLOOR CORNER GUARD APPARATUS AND METHOD
A floor cover guard for protection of a corner formed by a pair of adjoining walls and a floor against debris accumulation. The floor corner guard has an elongated wall portion having sufficient vertical dimensions to extend above conventional baseboard, molding, and similar architectural details. A sloping base extends from the wall portion, downwardly and forwardly at an angle of between 25 and 75 degrees in relation to a vertical axis of the wall member. The wall portion has an upper edge and the base has a tapered forward edge to facilitate sealing engagement of the wall portion and the base with the walls and the floor, respectively. Some embodiments provide for a support brace extending outwardly from the wall portion opposite the base; the support brace is designed to fit under the baseboards, moldings and the like. During cleaning, the curved protector allows for easy removal of debris.
