Raised floor comprising a profiled element
A profiled element for laying raised floors, which comprises a first flat portion that extends longitudinally and a second flat portion that extends longitudinally in the same direction as the first portion and is arranged transversely with respect to the arrangement of the first portion, grip protrusions for an adhesive for coverings or floors being defined on the second flat portion.
Wall panel trim reveal system and method
There is disclosed an improved wall panel trim reveal system and method which utilizes a set of vertical, horizontal and corner trim pieces designed to be fitted together. In an embodiment, the system includes horizontal trim pieces having at least one slope, vertical trim pieces having at least one tab forming a slot for receiving one or more horizontal trim pieces therein, wherein the horizontal and vertical trim pieces when installed together with wall panels forming a moisture drainage channel to direct moisture away from the wall.
TAPELESS FASTENING AND FINISHING SYSTEM FOR WALLBOARD INSTALLATION
A wallboard-fastening device secures first and second wallboards to a framing member without fasteners passing through the wallboards. The device includes first, second, and third framing panels joined along lengthwise edges to form a three-sided cup sized to fit around the framing member, first and second flat-spring flanges joined along lengthwise edges to form a front seam, and a channel-dividing panel joined lengthwise to the front seam and to the second framing panel to form first and second channels that receive the first and second wallboards. The flat-spring flanges flex to exert restoring forces on the wallboards that push the wallboards against the second framing panel. The device may be configured for edge joints, outside-corner joints, and inside-corners, and thus may be combined for any type of wallboard installation, including both parallel and perpendicular applications.
Wallboard-fastening device for securing wallboards in an outside-corner configuration
A wallboard-fastening device for securing first and second wallboards to a framing member in an outside-corner configuration includes: first and second framing panels that connect to each other to form an inner corner seam that fits against the framing member; first and second corner panels that connect to each other to form an outer corner seam; a first bridge panel that connects to (i) the first corner panel to form a first outer seam and (ii) the inner corner seam; a second bridge panel that connects to (i) the second corner panel to form a second outer seam and (ii) the inner corner seam; a first flat-spring flange that connects to the first outer seam to form a first channel sized to accept the first wallboard; and a second flat-spring flange that connects to the second outer seam to form a second channel sized to accept the second wallboard.
Enhanced deck assembly facilitation methods and systems
Structures and protocols are presented for providing enhanced assembly tolerances (for thermal or manufacturing variations, e.g.) in constructing gazebos or other standalone decking systems, decks adjoining a house or other primary structure, or other such structures for walkways or human occupancy.
Integrated fiber cement and foam as insulated cladding with enhancements
An integrated fiber cement and foam cladding system is provided that incorporates foam or similar light weight material to improve the insulation capacity of the cladding system. The system includes at least a fiber cement layer and a foam layer disposed on the backside of the fiber cement layer. The system improves the R-value of the building, a measure of the building's resistance to transferring heat or thermal energy.
Inside corner backer board molding insert
An inside corner backer board molding insert is provided. The molding insert includes a body formed by a rigid member. An arcuate portion disposed on a front side of the body extends longitudinally from an upper face to a lower face of the body. The arcuate portion defines a concave surface extending laterally from a first longitudinal edge to a second longitudinal edge. A pair of laterally extending walls extend perpendicularly relative to each other and intersect forming a corner edge disposed on a rear side of the body. The corner edge forms a right angle sized to engage an inside corner of a wall. Opposing sides of the body interconnect the arcuate portion to the laterally extending walls and include a width sized to receive a backer board flush thereagainst. A lip extending outwardly from and edge of the opposing sides provides a support surface for the backer board.
BUILDING PROFILE AS WELL AS METHOD AND INSTALLATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING A BUILDING PROFILE
A building profile having a first and a second strip-shaped profile leg and a connecting section which connects the first profile leg and the second profile leg in the longitudinal direction, wherein the profile legs form a profile angle. At least one of the profile legs has material apertures which are produced from through cuts by a stretching process. A method for manufacturing such a building profile; an installation for manufacturing a profiled strip comprising material apertures which forms a building profile precursor from which said building profiles are produced; an installation for manufacturing such a building profile from a profiled strip comprising material apertures which are produced from through cuts a stretching process; an apparatus for manufacturing such a building profile from a raw strip; and the use of an installation in the production of building profiles, in the form of angle profiles for protecting wall edges or corners or in the form of quick-plastering profiles or in the form of support rails or stand profiles, in the production of building profiles mentioned at the outset.
Drywall corner assembly
A drywall corner assembly includes a trim unit that has a first portion which is perpendicularly oriented with a second portion thereby facilitating the trim unit to be installed on an outside corner of a framed wall intended for receiving drywall installation. A pair of screw plates is each integrated into a respective one of the first portion and the second portion of the trim unit to accommodate a fastener for attaching the trim unit to framing members of the framed wall. A sheet is bonded to the trim unit and the sheet extends substantially across each of the first portion and the second portion of the trim unit. The sheet is aligned with an exposed surface of drywall installed on the framed wall to facilitate joint compound to be laid between the drywall and the sheet.
