Housing Construction System
A wall surfacing system for providing a secondary ceiling or wall covering structure adjacent a primary structure. The system provides a plurality of elongated structural support rails, each of these support rails have a coupling web with a bearing surface for attachment to the primary structure, a coupling mechanism, and a portion integrally formed with and connecting the coupling web to the coupling mechanism. A plurality of generally planar surface panels are provided. Each panel has an integral interlocking member configured to mate with the coupling mechanism on the support rail. The elongated support rails are secured to primary structures, thereby extending the surface panels to form an aesthetically pleasing covered surface.
Housing construction system

Molding assembly and floor installation
Provided herein is a molding assembly for bridging a gap between floor covering materials, or for finishing an edge of a floor covering material. The molding assembly comprising a molding and a track is configured with a hinge portion to allow tilting of the molding when attached to the track attachment component. Floor installations are also provided herein. The floor installations comprise floor covering materials adjoining respective sides of a gap, and a molding assembly to cover the gap and accommodate any difference in thickness between the respective adjoining floor covering materials.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WALL PANEL TRIM INSTALLATION
There is disclosed a system and method for wall panel trim installation. In an embodiment, the system comprises a plurality of horizontal and vertical trim profiles having a back plate adapted to receive a top cap within a bracket, the bracket including a mounting base and walls extending up from either side of the base; and at least one flange formed on the walls and extending outwardly, the at least one flange including a shallow channel; wherein, upon receiving the top cap within the bracket, the at least one flange forming the shallow channel and a portion of the top cap secure an edge of a wall panel therebetween. In an embodiment, the shallow channel formed within the at least one flange is adapted to receive an adhesive or sealant. The top cap is partially received within the bracket such that a clearance is formed between a bottom of the mounting base and a bottom of the top cap. Back plate and top cap pairs allow installation of wall panels placed into position without fasteners.
Cladding system.
A cladding kit mountable to an underlying structure, the cladding kit comprising a plurality of elongated cladding boards, each cladding board including a board body defining longitudinally opposed board body first and second ends, board body first and second sides extending therebetween and opposed inside and outside surfaces; an outside flange protruding from the board body at the board body first side, the outside flange being recessed relative to the inside surface; and an inside flange protruding from the board body at the board body second side, the inside flange being recessed relative to the outside surface. The inside and outside flanges are configured and sized so that the inside and outside flanges of two cladding boards overlap when they are laid side-by-side with their outside surfaces substantially coplanar.
CONNECTOR FOR TRANSITION MOLDINGS
The invention provides a flooring molding connector for transitional molding. The system features a base member that secures to a sub-floor through adhesive or mechanical means, and a serrated insertion member for engaging a complementary molding member. The molding member is equipped with a flat section and a downward-extending stem that ends in an arrowhead tip, facilitating secure engagement with the insertion member.
Transition molding with flexible hinges
A variety of molding profiles and related methods of manufacturing and installing the molding profiles are described. An example molding includes: an extruded profile of unitary construction including: a substantially planar central portion; at least one downwardly depending substantially planar wing; at least one hinge section joining the at least one wing to the central portion; and a pair of vertical legs depending from a bottom surface of the central portion, wherein the central portion, the at least one wing, and the vertical legs are formed of a first material, wherein the at least one hinge section is formed of a second material, and wherein the second material is more flexible than the first material.
TRANSITION MOLDING WITH FLEXIBLE HINGES
A variety of molding profiles and related methods of manufacturing and installing the molding profiles are described. An example molding includes: an extruded profile of unitary construction including: a substantially planar central portion; at least one downwardly depending substantially planar wing; at least one hinge section joining the at least one wing to the central portion; and a pair of vertical legs depending from a bottom surface of the central portion, wherein the central portion, the at least one wing, and the vertical legs are formed of a first material, wherein the at least one hinge section is formed of a second material, and wherein the second material is more flexible than the first material.
