Automated drywall painting system and method
An automated painting system that includes a robotic arm and a painting end effector coupled at a distal end of the robotic arm, with the painting end effector configured to apply paint to a target surface. The painting system can also include a computing device executing a computational planner that: generates instructions for driving the painting end effector and robotic arm to perform at least one painting task that includes applying paint, via the painting the end effector, to a plurality of drywall pieces, the generating based at least in part on obtained target surface data; and drives the end effector and robotic arm to perform the at least one painting task.
INSULATION INSTALLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INSTALLING INSULATION IN A WALL STRUCTURE FOR A MODULAR CONSTRUCTION UNIT
An insulation installation system and method of installing insulation in a wall structure for a modular construction unit. The insulation installation system includes an insulation in-feed table, an insulation out-feed table, an insulation saw assembly, and an insulation unload tool. The insulation in-feed table moves a batt of insulation thereon. The insulation out-feed table receives the batt of insulation from the insulation in-feed table. The insulation saw assembly includes an insulation saw that cuts the batt of insulation into a cut insulation having a size to fit into a wall cavity of the wall structure. The insulation unload tool grabs the cut insulation from the insulation out-feed table and places the cut insulation into the wall cavity of the wall structure.
DEVICE FOR PREPARING AN INSULATING PRODUCT BASED ON WOOL, IN PARTICULAR MINERAL WOOL
A device may include a chamber configured to aerate a wool suitable for an insulating product; an air jet configured to introduce a turbulent gaseous flow into the chamber and entrain the wool within the chamber an entrainment of the wool in one sense in a direction A, and in a direction B that is the opposite of the direction A, such that within the chamber there is at least one plane perpendicular to the direction A in which the wool entrained in the direction A crosses the wool entrained in the direction B.
Blowing machine
A machine for blowing a loose-fill insulating product, includes at least a base and a pipe for transporting the insulating product, the base including at least an air inlet, an inlet for loose-fill insulating product and an outlet connected to the pipe, the pipe including at least one cylindrical wall which delimits a space configured for the passage of the loose-fill insulating product and the air, the blowing machine including at least one evacuation orifice formed through the cylindrical wall of the pipe, the at least one evacuation orifice being configured to allow the passage of air toward the exterior of the pipe and block the passage of the loose-fill insulating product.
Pipe of a blowing machine
A pipe for the aeraulic transport of a loose-fill insulation product for a machine for blowing the insulating product, the pipe extending along a longitudinal main elongation direction and including at least one cylindrical wall which delimits a space configured for the circulation at least of the loose-fill insulating product, wherein, in the pipe, the cylindrical wall includes a plurality of sections, at least two of the sections each including at least one evacuation orifice so as to form at least two perforated sections, the pipe including at least two shutoff devices that are movable in translation along the longitudinal direction about the cylindrical wall, each of the shutoff devices being able to cover specifically one of the perforated sections.
TOOL FOR INSTALLING INSULATION
A tool that can include a head configured to span a cavity, a first feeder configured to feed a membrane to the head, where the head is configured to fix the membrane across the cavity as the head moves along the cavity, and a second feeder configured to feed insulation into the cavity. A method can include engaging adjacent support structures in a building with a tool that includes a head; a first feeder; and a second feeder, feeding, via the first feeder, a membrane to the head, attaching the membrane to the adjacent support structures, and feeding, via the second feeder, insulation into a cavity between the adjacent support structures.
