Carpentry tool
A carpentry tool for pushing deck, flooring or other boards toward one another on a joist or underlying substructure. The tool can be operated with one hand, leaving the other hand free for installation of a fastener. The tool can leave an area adjacent the joist and board exposed so that a fastener can be installed in the board and joist in that area. The tool can include a pusher cam rotatably joined with a base, and fixedly joined with a lever. A joist cam and joist blade can be joined with the base, disposed opposite one another across a variable width joist recess. The pusher cam and joist cam can be mechanically coupled to the base so that rotation of the pusher cam urges rotation of the joist cam, thereby causing the joist cam to dynamically grip the joist and prevent the tool from rocking and/or moving away from the pushed board.
LAP SIDING PRODUCT WITH SNAP BREAK
A lap siding product with a central face cut, allowing an installer or user to break the lap siding product in half manually, without tools, resulting in two pieces of lap siding. The central face cut extends for the length of the product, and its depth is a substantial portion of the thickness of the lap siding product. A central back cut opposite to the central face cut may be provided, as well as a pair of back spacing cuts along the edges of the back face of the product. A pair of machined nail lines on the face of the product assist in determining locations for nailing the post-break pieces of lap siding during installation.
Cladding installation support
A cladding support device comprises a folded sheet metal body. The folded sheet method body includes a base wall, a top wall portion protruding out relative to the base wall, a side wall protruding from the base wall and having an upper edge adjacent the top wall portion; and a clamp on the top wall portion, the clamp including a substantially planar body with side edges extending between a coupled end to which the clamp is coupled to the sheet metal body and an outboard end and the clamp being positioned on the top wall with one side edge extending along the upper edge of the side wall.
Adjustable support
An adjustable support, comprising a base, a first tubular member extending upwardly from the base, the first tubular member comprising a first friction lock, a second tubular member arranged in telescoping engagement with the first tubular member, the second tubular member comprising a second friction lock and, a non-abrasive transverse member pivotably arranged on the second tubular member, wherein the first friction lock telescopingly secures the second tubular member within the first tubular member and the second friction lock pivotably secures the transverse member to the second tubular member.
PUNCH FOR CRIMPING TOOL AND CRIMPING TOOL PROVIDED WITH SUCH A PUNCH
The present invention proposes a crimping punch making it possible to obtain a crimping that is resistant to pulling out. To this end, the punch (20) for a crimping tool comprises a fixing part (21) for fixing to the tool and a punching part (22) consisting of a spike (23) connected to the fixing part by two crimping faces (24) that each exhibit a rectilinear primary profile (241), each crimping face also comprising a secondary profile (242), provided with four notches (243) having a radius of between 1 mm and 2.5 mm, preferably between 1.2 mm and 2 mm, advantageously 1.5 mm.
Siding panel with a recessed locking section
A siding panel includes a hanger section adjacent to an upper edge and a lower locking section adjacent to a lower edge. When installed, the lower locking section of an upper siding panel partially overlaps, extends into, and interlocks with a hanger section of a lower siding panel in an interference fit.
SIDING GUIDE INSTALLATION VERIFICATION TOOL
A verification tool for guiding the appropriate installation of vinyl siding to a wall of a structure is disclosed. A verification tool may include a face plate with a front face, a rear face, a plurality of edges, and a wall extending outwardly from each edge of the face plate and oppositely disposed flanges extending outwardly from at least two of the walls, a through hole in the face plate proximate a top edge of the face plate and a securement through hole in each of two oppositely disposed vertically oriented walls, two downwardly extending legs and a through hole gauge, and a through hole in each downwardly extending leg and each leg includes a foot portion with each foot comprising a different height for use in establishing a minimum gap between a vinyl siding surface and an accessory.
SIDING GUIDE INSTALLATION VERIFICATION TOOL
A verification tool for guiding the installation of vinyl siding to a wall of a structure. The verification tool includes a face plate with a front face, a rear face, a plurality of edges and a wall extending outwardly from each edge of the face plate. The verification tool also includes an opening in the face plate proximate a top edge of the face plate and a securement through hole in each of two oppositely disposed vertically oriented walls. The verification tool includes two downwardly extending legs and a gauge for confirming the nail shank diameter used for securing the vinyl siding nail hem to the wall. The verification tool also includes a pair of legs each with a foot portion with each foot comprising a different height for use in establishing a minimum gap between a vinyl siding surface and an accessory.
Template
The present disclosure relates to a template to guide the user when securing at least one cladding board on a brace lath, said template comprising at least one orifice for guiding at least one element for securing of the cladding board on the brace lath, at least one of said guide orifices being movable in the template.
