Concrete cutting, polishing, and coloring treatment solutions and methods
Systems and methods for treating concrete, which includes the steps of wetting a surface of concrete with colloidal silica, allowing time for the colloidal silica to penetrate the concrete surface, and cutting the surface of the concrete with a bladed or segmented tool wherein the longitudinal blade or edge portion is positioned approximately at an angle between 30 degrees and 90 degrees relative to the surface of the concrete.
CONCRETE TROWEL
A concrete trowel includes a frame, a drive assembly including a motor mounted on the frame and a drive hub configured to receive torque from the motor, a rotor rotatable about a rotational axis and including a plurality of blades, wherein the rotor includes an attachment portion that is received within a receiving portion of the drive hub, and a quick-change coupling for selectively attaching the rotor and the drive hub for co-rotation therewith. The quick-change coupling includes a spring that imparts a spring force on the attachment portion of the rotor and wherein the spring remains on the drive hub when the attachment portion of the rotor is removed from the quick-change coupling.
Compartmentalized Riding Trowel Cvt Clutch Module
A modular, continuously variable ratio transmission adapted to be coupled between the drive motor of a dual rotor riding trowel and the lower drive train. First and second rigid, generally planar frame plates are secured in parallel relation by a plurality of spacers. The first fame plate has a clearance orifice for admitting a portion of the trowel engine. A stub shaft receives input power and rotates a first pulley that drives a second pulley with a reduced diameter. A first jackshaft driven by said second pulley drives a variable CVT drive pulley affixed externally of the module. A second variable drive pulley coupled to said first variable drive pulley by a belt drives a second jackshaft splined to a fifth pulley that is coupled to a sixth pulley having a diameter greater than the diameter of said fifth pulley. The sixth pulley is coupled to trowel gearbox drive shafts.
Handle assemblies with vibration dampening assemblies for concrete finishing machines
A handle assembly for a power tool includes a main handle having a first end configured to couple to the power tool and a handle bar having a first end coupled to the main handle. The handle bar has an isolation bushing positioned at a first vibration dampening point and configured to dampen vibrations transmitted between the main handle and the handle bar. A vibration dampening assembly couples the handle bar to the main handle at a second vibration dampening point and is configured to further dampen vibrations transmitted between the main handle and the handle bar. The vibration dampening assembly includes a collar that encircles the main handle and a pair of annular resilient member positioned between the collar and the main handle. The collar defines a pair of circumferential grooves that receive the annular resilient member, and the resilient members are configured to be compressed into the circumferential grooves such that dampening of vibrations and maneuverability of the power tool varies as the resilient member is compressed.
DECORATIVE CONCRETE WITH UNIFORM SURFACE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
A decorative concrete with a very uniform finish surface and a method of fabricating the same is disclosed. A concrete mixture is poured over a subgrade which defines an exposed surface. The exposed surface is finished with any of several techniques, and the surface is then worked with an abrasive material, and additional techniques are used to color and seal the concrete.
Method and apparatus for mixing and applying cementitious polyurethane
A device and method device for continuous mixing and laying of cementitious coating onto a substrate. There is a first mixing stage for metering and mixing a first liquid and a second liquid to create a first mix and a second mixing stage for metering and mixing the first mix with aggregate to form a second mix. The first and second mixing stages use flow meters and flow controllers for metering and restricting the flow of the first liquid, the second liquid and aggregate. A controller operatively coupled to the flow meters and flow controllers controls the mixing in a closed-feedback arrangement. A screed box applies the second mix onto the substrate to create a flooring layer. The flooring may be in a food processing plant.
Concrete Power Trowel Surface Finish Attachment
The present invention comprises a broom mounted on a power trowel so that a textured surface may be produced on wet concrete by a single operator in a single pass.
POWER TOOL HANDLE ASSEMBLIES WITH VIBRATION DAMPENING ASSEMBLIES
The collar defines a pair of circumferential grooves that receive the annular resilient member, and the resilient members are configured to be compressed into the circumferential grooves such that dampening of vibrations and maneuverability of the power tool varies as the resilient member is compressed
Conjoining apparatus and rotary machine assembly comprising same
A conjoining apparatus for connecting first and second rotary machines to treat a surface, such as rotary cement trowels, or machines used to polish, wax or clean flooring. The conjoining apparatus includes a first bracket assembly comprising a first bracket member and a first connecting mechanism, a second bracket assembly comprising a second bracket member and a second connecting mechanism, and a conjoining frame configured for removable attachment to the first and second bracket assemblies via the respective connecting mechanism. A rotary machine assembly includes a first rotary machine and the conjoining apparatus with the first bracket assembly pivotably connected to the conjoining frame. An adaptor kit including the conjoining apparatus is also provided.
Concrete trowel
A concrete trowel includes a frame, a drive assembly including a motor mounted on the frame and a drive hub configured to receive torque from the motor, a handle assembly extending from the frame for controlling the concrete trowel, a rotor including a plurality of blades, the rotor rotatably coupled to the drive assembly for rotating about a rotational axis, and a steering control system mounted on the handle assembly to selectively adjust an orientation of the drive hub relative to a work surface in a plurality of different directions to adjust a pressure applied by the blades against the work surface.
