Tool for the mechanical treatment of a concrete floor
A tool for the mechanical treatment of a concrete floor, such as for power trowel floating and finishing with blades, for conducting the treatment with a hand-operated, walk-behind or ride-on actuator, such as e.g. with a concrete power trowel, a floor treating apparatus, or the like. The actuator includes one or more operating heads, which include several, such as four, attachment arms perpendicular to each other, for treating a concrete floor with tools coupled in a removable manner into the engagement with each attachment arm. A tool is intended for use in engagement with a trowel floating blade coupled to an attachment arm of the actuator's operating head, whereby the tool with a substantially flat and elongated body includes first and second elements for its coupling and locking on a quick coupling principle for im-movable engagement with the trowel floating blade.
POWER TOOL INCLUDING DUAL BATTERY PACK SEQUENTIAL DISCHARGE
A power tool includes a housing, a motor within the housing, a user interface, a first battery pack interface configured to receive a first battery pack, a second battery pack interface configured to receive a second battery pack, and a controller connected to the motor, the user interface, the first battery pack interface, and the second battery pack interface. The controller is configured to detect that the first battery pack is connected to the first battery pack interface, detect that the second battery pack is connected to the second battery pack interface, drive the motor via a discharge of the first battery pack, detect that the first battery pack is depleted, and, in response to detecting that the first battery pack is depleted, drive the motor via a discharge of the second battery pack.
Work machine
A work machine that smooths a road surface by rotating a blade contacting the road surface, the work machine comprises: a motor that rotates the blade; and a power supply device that includes a battery pack that supplies electric power to the motor, wherein the power supply device is disposed above the motor.
Decorative concrete with uniform surface and method of forming the same
A decorative concrete with a very uniform finish surface and a method of fabricating the same is disclosed. A concrete mixture is poured over a subgrade which defines an exposed surface. The exposed surface is finished with any of several techniques, and the surface is then worked with an abrasive material, and additional techniques are used to color and seal the concrete.
TROWEL ASSEMBLY
A trowel assembly for finishing a surface includes a housing that defines a compartment. A rod is coupled with the housing and extends away from the housing for being handled by a user to control the trowel assembly. A rotor is rotatably coupled to the housing. A plurality of blade assemblies are coupled to the rotor and arranged in circumferentially spaced relationship with one another for compacting and flattening the wall during rotation of the blade assemblies. An electric motor is positioned in the housing and includes an output coupled to the blade assemblies for providing the rotational movement of the blade assemblies.
SAFETY SWITCH FOR A BATTERY PACK POWERED TROWEL
Systems and methods for controlling a power trowel. A power trowel includes a handle including a speed control input, a housing, a shaft connecting the handle and the housing, a safety mechanism located on the shaft, a blade assembly positioned below the housing, a motor located within the motor housing and coupled to the blade assembly, and a controller. The safety mechanism includes a safety lever configured to move in response to an uncontrolled condition of the power trowel. The controller is connected to the motor and the safety mechanism. The controller is configured to drive, in response to actuation of the speed control input, the motor, detect a movement of the safety lever from a first position to a second position, and perform, in response to the movement of the safety lever to the second position, a safety operation.
