KIT FOR ERECTING A PLATFORM
A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.
Support member for joinable scaffolding planks
A support member is provided for joining scaffolding plank segments comprising a first support surface for supporting a first scaffolding plank segment and a second support surface parallel to the first support surface for supporting a second scaffolding plank segment. A joining member joins the first and second plank segments, a first retainer is provided for retaining the first scaffolding plank segment on the first support surface and a second retainer for retaining the second scaffolding plank segment on the second support surface. A system is further provided comprising at least two scaffolding plank segments and a bracket, such as that described above, for supporting an end of each of the segments.
MODIFIED LEDGER AND MODULAR SCAFFOLD SYSTEM WITH CONTINUOUS WORK SURFACE
A scaffold ledger providing a raised support surface of the elongate structural member with the opposed ledger heads being downwardly and outwardly offset. Each ledger head includes cover flaps that extend the raised support surface above the ledger heads in a cover position. The scaffold ledger cooperates with scaffold posts and scaffold planks to allow for a continuous work platform above an intermediate scaffold support post and/or across supporting ledgers.
Lockable scaffold toeboard system
A scaffold toeboard system for locking a toeboard between two vertical scaffold members where each vertical scaffold member includes a tubular member having a diameter and an outer shape. The toeboard system includes a toeboard having an elongated member with a fixed terminating end and an adjustable terminating end. The toeboard further includes a front portion, a top portion, a bottom portion and a rear portion. The toeboard system further includes a locking mechanism slidably mounted to the adjustable terminating end, where the locking mechanism includes a lock member body with a front sidewall two fingers positioned on said locking mechanism and extending outwardly from the front sidewall of the locking member. The two fingers separated by a horizontal distance of about the diameter of a scaffold vertical member. The locking mechanism further includes a lock, where the lock is actuatable to fix the position of the lock member body with respect to the toeboard in a deployed position. The fixed terminating end is shaped to engage a scaffold vertical member.
SCAFFOLD ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The present invention provides a scaffold assembly, in particular a combination of a conventional tubular scaffold tube or pole and a rosette, type coupling which enables the connection of additional scaffold components to the scaffold assembly, the coupling and tubular element being fixed relative to one another by means of at least one abutment which is cold formed in the tubular element such as to fix the coupling in position relative thereto.
Pivoting Horizontal and Vertical Scaffold Members and a Method of Erecting an Offset Scaffold Platform
One embodiment of the invention is a horizontal scaffold truss that has upper and lower horizontal scaffold members offset but fixedly joined with braces. Each upper and lower members have a connector positioned on each end of the respective lower and upper members, where at least one of the connectors is pivotally mounted on the respective lower or upper connector, and the connecters are engageable with an annular member positioned on a vertical scaffold member.
SCAFFOLD LEDGER
A scaffold clamp cooperates with a scaffold ledger to accommodate aligned placement of the scaffold clamp to the ledger at modular positions in the length of the ledger. The scaffold clamp includes an inwardly directed alignment lug sized for receipt in one or more clamp locating holes provided in the length of the ledger at modular positions. This arrangement provides accurate securement of the clamp to the ledger at predetermined modular positions and reduces problems that can occur with respect to erection of the scaffold system.
Management of power to internal subsystems within a system on chip
An electronic device comprising a system on chip and an external module. The system on chip includes a plurality of internal subsystems and a power management system including a plurality of internal voltage regulators which supply power to the plurality of internal subsystems. Each of the internal voltage regulators has an associated current limiter. The external module includes at least one external voltage regulator which can provide power to at least one of the internal subsystems. The power management system during a start-up phase enables the internal voltage regulators and the current limiters and in a subsequent phase determines an externally powered set of the internal subsystems, disables the corresponding internal voltage regulators, and disables the current limiters associated with the internal subsystems not externally powered.
CONNECTOR FOR A MODULAR SCAFFOLD, MODULAR SCAFFOLD, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MODULAR SCAFFOLD, AND USE OF A CONNECTOR
A connector for a modular scaffold, having a connector tube having a tube section with enlarged outer and/or inner diameter at least at one end, preferably at both ends, for connection to at least one vertical post, as well as a connector element which has at least one receiving recess for connection to at least one horizontal beam and/or a diagonal brace, wherein the connector element is fastened to the connector tube either indirectly via an extension arm or directly on the outer circumference.
A modular scaffold, a method of manufacturing a modular scaffold and a use of a connector within a modular scaffold.
CONNECTOR FOR TEMPORARY SCAFFOLDING
A connector for temporary scaffolding at an end of a lateral member, to be wedge-connected to a receiver around a strut, includes: a wedge body provided movably at the end of the lateral member upward and downward relative to the lateral member; a locking body including a claw formed such that, as a result of the wedge-body's moving downward, the claw could travel from initial to locking position with respect to the receiver; and a biasing body capable of pressing the locking body toward the wedge body, wherein the wedge body includes a shoulder protruding toward the locking body, the locking body includes an interfering portion protruding toward the wedge body, and when the claw is at the initial position, the shoulder is blocked by the interfering portion from moving upward, thereby preventing the wedge body from moving upward and the locking body from traveling toward the biasing body.
