WALL TIE CLAMP
A wall tie clamp for use with a threaded and nutted wall tie system, where the wall tie clamp is constructed to straddle and grip in a releasable locking manner the threaded end portion of the wall tie adjacent a positioning nut carried thereby. The wall tie clamp includes a locking plate assembly which is adapted to engage and hold the positioning nut of the wall tie at a fixed location on the wall tie, such that it may be effectively disassembled and removed from any particular wall form assembly without altering the set predetermined location of the positioning nut on the wall tie.
Formwork panel assembly with releasable connecting member and method of removing the formwork
This disclosure relates to a formwork panel assembly to mold upwardly extending building features such as columns or walls, that extend between adjacent floor slabs. In one aspect, the formwork panel assembly comprises at least two surface forming elements, and at least one connecting element adapted for removable location between the two surface forming elements, where adjacent edges of the surface forming elements abut against the connecting element so that the resulting formwork assembly forms a single, continuous casting surface, and wherein in use, the or each connecting element is separately releasable from the formwork assembly once a concrete surface has been formed.
MODULAR WALLED SPA AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION
Systems and methods for modular walled systems, such as modular walled spas and modular walled privacy fences and can protect pool and spa equipment from the public. In one embodiment, the modular walled system includes an outer frame disposed within a medial frame, and an inner frame disposed within the medial frame, wherein each frame includes a set of brace assemblies that connect to rebar grids. The brace assemblies may include a foot plate and threaded couplers. The wall system also provides protective room for electrical raceways and a secure anchor substrate to attach electronics, panels, boxes or lighting systems.
Outer insulation integrated insulating block system easy to dry-finish and a construction method thereby
The present invention relates to a method for replacing a conventional mold construction, and includes a plate-shaped outer insulating material, an inner plywood (or a board-shaped finishing material), a connection unit, and a lightweight temporary material. According to the present invention, a wall is constructed by connecting the inner plywood to the lightweight temporary material from a corner foundation surface and by laying bricks. Reinforcement bars are placed after an interior wall is constructed and arranged to cross each other or to align with each other as instructed in a design specification. Then, an exterior wall is installed corresponding to the connection unit connected to the inner plywood. As a result, a wall having a thermal bridge prevention effect and a higher quality is obtained. Either dry finish or a wet finish is applicable to the wall.
Form Tie System
A form tie system for efficiently and securely tying together panels of a wall form with an elongated member. The form tie system generally includes a first holder which is adapted to be positioned adjacent to a first panel and a second holder which is adapted to be positioned adjacent to a second panel of a wall form. Each holder includes a grip such as a strand chuck which is adapted to securely retain an elongated member that extends from the first holder to the second holder to tie the panels of the wall form together. One of the holders may comprise an adjustable holder including an adjustable nut utilized to bear against the strand chuck to increase tension in the elongated member. After formation of the wall, the elongated member may be cut and the holders released prior to removing the wall forms from around the completed wall.
FOUNDATION WATERPROOFING AND INSULATION FORM SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods for making a waterproofed concrete wall assembly, such as for a basement wall. A form is constructed. At least a first side of the form is made of one or more boards having a polymer foam and a fibrous facer. At least some of the boards have perimeter edges shaped such that some adjacent boards overlap at the shaped perimeter edges. Concrete is poured into the gap between the sides of the form, and is allowed to harden. The other side of the form may be removed, while leaving the boards of the first side of the form in place adjacent the hardened concrete. Some of the concrete is infused into the fibrous facers of at least some of the boards.
Adjustable rebar positioning device
A rebar positioning device with opposite ends for positioning adjacent to a form face of at least one form panel may include a support rod having opposite ends and an outer surface, with at least a portion of the outer surface being threaded. At least one bar clip may be movably mounted on the support rod. An orientation of the at least one bar clip on the support rod is adjustable, and a position of the at least one bar clip on the support rod is adjustable.
FORMWORK PANEL ASSEMBLY
This disclosure relates to a formwork panel assembly to mold upwardly extending building features such as columns or walls, that extend between adjacent floor slabs. In one aspect, the formwork panel assembly comprises at least two surface forming elements, and at least one connecting element adapted for removable location between the two surface forming elements, where adjacent edges of the surface forming elements abut against the connecting element so that the resulting formwork assembly forms a single, continuous casting surface, and wherein in use, the or each connecting element is separately releasable from the formwork assembly once a concrete surface has been formed.
SUPPORT MEMBER, CONCRETE PLACING FORM, AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING CONCRETE STRUCTURE
Embodiments provide reusable support member capable of facilitating assembly and disassembly of a form, and a concrete placing form. A reusable support member supports outer side surfaces of concrete panels providing cavity as predetermined space for placing concrete includes horizontal rails with a length according to width of the panels, vertical rails with length according to height of the panels, and bolt and nut structures for locking the panels into inner direction of the cavity by penetrating intersections in which respectively parallel the horizontal and vertical rails are combined in lattice shape. Either of the horizontal and vertical rails relating to the intersections, include recesses capable of fitting in opposing rails by receiving a width and a part or all of a thickness of opposing rails. The rails are configured by channel steel or metal material with equivalent shape, and the rails contact the outer side surfaces at equal intervals.
EXTERIOR INSULATION-INTEGRATED INSULATING BLOCK SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING DRY FINISH, AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING SAME
The present invention relates to a method for replacing a conventional mold construction, and includes a plate-shaped outer insulating material, an inner plywood (or a board-shaped finishing material), a connection unit, and a lightweight temporary material. According to the present invention, a wall is constructed by connecting the inner plywood to the lightweight temporary material from a corner foundation surface and by laying bricks. Reinforcement bars are placed after an interior wall is constructed and arranged to cross each other or to alien with each other as instructed in a design specification. Then, an exterior wall is installed corresponding to the connection unit connected to the inner plywood. As a result, a wall having a thermal bridge prevention effect and a higher quality is obtained. Either dry finish or a wet finish is applicable to the wall.
