A healthcare apparatus includes a ballistocardiogram (BCG) sensor configured to sense a ballistocardiogram signal of a subject, a camera configured to acquire a color facial image, and a processor configured to detect a region of interest (ROI) from the color facial image, to detect a first color image of a forehead area to acquire a first black and white image, to detect a second color image of a cheek area to acquire a second black and white image, to apply the first and second black and white images to a predetermined trained algorithm model to output a remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) signal waveform of the subject, to calculate a first heart rate from the BCG signal waveform, to calculate a second heart rate from the remote PPG signal waveform, and to output a heart rate of the subject based on the first heart rate and the second heart rate.
MULTI-MODALITY THERAPEUTIC STIMULATION USING VIRTUAL OBJECTS AND GAMIFICATION
A system and method for therapeutic stimulation using virtual objects and gamification, in which multi-modality stimulus is applied using some combination of virtual elements, attention is enhanced by virtue of the user's active participation, and long-term use is encouraged by virtue of the entertaining nature of the gamification. Depending on configuration, the system and method may comprise a display comprising virtual objects, a light-producing device (other than the display), an audio-producing device such as speakers or headphones, a haptic feedback device such as a vibratory motor, a means for monitoring the user's attention, and a software application which applies therapeutic stimulation using some combination of the display, the light-producing device, the audio-producing device, and the haptic feedback device.
BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT USING VIRTUAL OBJECTS AND GAMIFICATION
A system and method for brainwave entrainment using virtual objects and gamification, in which brainwave entrainment is applied using some combination of gaming elements, brainwave is enhanced by virtue of the user's active participation, and long-term use is encouraged by virtue of the entertaining nature of the gamification. Depending on configuration, the system and method may comprise a display comprising virtual objects, a light-producing device (other than the display), an audio-producing device such as speakers or headphones, a haptic feedback device such as a vibratory motor, a means for monitoring the user's attention, and a software application which applies brainwave entrainment using some combination of the display, the light-producing device, the audio-producing device, and the haptic feedback device.
VIBRATION PRODUCING DEVICE WITH SLEEP CYCLE FUNCTION AND TRANSDUCER
A device is described for delivering a therapeutic vibration to a body. The device may include at least two motors in a housing with unbalanced masses coupled to their axles, such that vibration of the masses causes the two motors and housing to vibrate at a beat frequency 80. The motors and housing may be coupled to the body via a platform which places the motors and housings at or near a resonant structure in the body, creating a coupled oscillation between the platform and the body. The vibration may be based on the input signal, such that the system applies the vibration based on the input signal to the user, wherein the signal may be an audio or video signal. The system may be configured to measure and manipulate the flow of cerebral spinal fluid.

METHOD FOR ESTIMATING DEVICE FIT USING PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA
Methods and systems are provided for assisting a user of a wearable biosignal monitoring device (2) in adjusting the device to achieve optimum fit and positioning. The biosignal monitoring devices considered use integrated bio sensors (5) to monitor the user’s physiological activity for various purposes such as tracking daily activity patterns, determining mood, and monitoring sleep stages, among others. It is determined either during device setup or during primary use of the device whether the current fit and positioning of the device (2) enable the bio sensors (5) to properly sense the physiological signals needed for the device to perform its primary function. The user is then informed either after initial device setup whether adjustments need to be made in order to optimize device function during primary use, or is informed after primary use whether adjustments need to be made in order to improve device function during future primary use.
CLOUD - BASED HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT PLATFORM
A cloud-based healthcare diagnostic and treatment platform capable of making non-invasive healthcare diagnostics and treatment recommendations based on data captured from combinations of physical activity and mental activity. Sleep performance systems and methods of using the same are disclosed. The sleep performance systems can improve the quality of sleep by making one or more recommendations to the subject for increasing a sleep quality score. The sleep performance systems can have one or more electroencephalography (EEG) electrodes configured to measure a subject's brain activity during sleep. The sleep performance systems can have a processor configured to quantify the quality of the subject's slow-wave sleep by determining one or more sleep performance scores associated with the measured brain activity. The sleep performance systems can recommend and/or activate sleep improvement programs based on various threshold scores.
