Sleep aid system including smart power hub
A smart power hub for a sleep aid device includes a data communication system for transmitting and receiving data between the sleep aid device and a user communication device and/or network. The data communication system may include a network module for providing wireless data communication access to the user communication device and/or network with respect to the sleep aid device. The smart power hub may be in data communication with the sleep aid device via a wired connection. The wired connection may include a cable having length greater than two meters. The smart power hub may also include a power system for transmitting power to the sleep aid device. The cable may also couple the power system to the sleep aid device for delivering a supply of power to the sleep aid device.
VIBRATORY NEUROMODULATION
The disclosure provides systems and methods for neuromodulation using a housing that at least partially contains a stimulator assembly, wherein the stimulator assembly is configured to generate vibration by mechanical oscillation and/or using a sound wave; and wherein the vibration generated by the stimulator assembly is configured to therapeutically treat the subject by stimulating one or more nerves when the housing is placed in proximity to or on a skin surface of a subject.
TRAUMATIC NIGHTMARE DETECTION AND INTERVENTION
The present disclosure, in one embodiment, is a computer-implemented method for the detection of and intervention in traumatic nightmares. In one embodiment, a user wears a watch wirelessly connected to a phone. The watch may include an accelerometer, gyroscope, and heartrate monitor. The application may monitor these sensors and intervene with haptic feedback if the application detects a traumatic nightmare. In one embodiment, the application may include a monitoring module that collects data from the watch's accelerometer, gyroscope, and heartrate sensors. The application may then estimate and record stress levels based on these sensors. The application may also include an intervention module that responds to high stress levels with haptic feedback that increases in intensity of previous efforts to intervene were unsuccessful.
APPARATUS FOR SOOTHING A BABY
An apparatus for soothing a baby on a mattress has a mattress support or base having weight detecting means for detecting weight of the baby on the mattress, cry detecting means for detecting baby cry, and vibration means for vibrating the mattress. The apparatus has control means configured to determine a center of gravity of the baby on the mattress and baby agitation in response to the weight detecting means. The control means control the vibration means to vibrate the mattress in a position different from the center of gravity of the baby on the mattress within and not beyond a maximum time in response to detection of the baby's cry and/or agitation.
Motorized furniture
A motorized furniture according to embodiments of the present invention includes a control unit. The control unit transitions to a first falling asleep operation at second time where the elapse of time since first time, where the sleep of a user of the motorized furniture is detected, is equal to or larger than a first time threshold. The control unit performs a second falling asleep operation when a variation of a signal corresponding to a biological signal of the user in a first period during the first falling asleep operation is smaller than the variation in a first prior period, which exists prior to the first period, during the first falling asleep operation or when the absolute value of a difference between the variation in the first period and the variation in the first prior period is smaller than a first variation threshold. In the second falling asleep operation, the control unit performs at least one of: an operation of decreasing the inclination of a section of the motorized furniture; an operation of decreasing the gap between the height of a head part of a mattress of the motorized furniture and the height of a waist part of the mattress; and an operation of decreasing the difference between the pressure in the head part and the pressure in the waist part. The embodiments provide a motorized furniture capable of offering more comfortable sleep.
SYSTEM FOR EXTENDED REALITY VISUAL CONTRIBUTIONS
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving information about a task to be completed by a user, receiving information about the user and receiving information about a physical environment of the user. The subject disclosure may further include creating one or more immersion objects based on the information about the task, the information about the user and the information about the physical environment, creating an immersive environment including the one or more immersive objects and at least a portion of the physical environment of the user, and communicating to an extended reality (XR) device of the user information about the immersive environment to create an immersive experience for completion of the task by the user. METHOD AND SYSTEM TO MANAGE AND REDUCE RECALL FREQUENCY OF DISTURBING DREAMS
A method of managing and reducing the recall frequency of disturbing dreams comprises monitoring (100; 200; 300) electroencephalography (EEG) activity of a subject, detecting (102; 206; 302) an indicator of a disturbing dream of the subject based on power in a theta or alpha band of the EEG activity of the subject, and providing stimulation (104; 212; 308) to the subject at a frequency lower than the theta band in response to detecting the indicator of the disturbing dream.

SLEEP PHASE DEPENDENT PRESSURE CONTROL AND LEARNING METHODS TO OPTIMIZE SLEEP QUALITY
A bed includes components to control pressure of a sleep surface, for example based on sleep position and sleep stages of a user. In some embodiments target pressures for the sleep surface are iteratively adjusted over multiple sleep sessions so to achieve improvements in sleep states and/or sleep quality for the user.
BIOFEEDBACK DEVICE USING ECG METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided is a biofeedback device using an electrocardiogram, and the biofeedback device using an electrocardiogram may include: a signal acquisition unit acquiring an electrocardiogram signal of a user from an electrocardiograph; an analysis unit analyzing the acquired electrocardiogram signal and providing a state diagnosis result of the user as an analysis result; and a control unit controlling at least one stimulation unit among a plurality of stimulation units for state control of the user based on the state diagnosis result, and a stimulation corresponding to the at least one stimulation unit may be provided to the user by the control of the control unit.
