Stanchion systems, stanchion attachment systems, and horizontal lifeline systems including stanchion systems

A stanchion system, includes a stanchion post and an attachment system for attachment to a flange which includes a first edge and a second edge. The attachment system includes a crossbar including an extending section and an abutment member on a first end thereof to abut the first edge of the flange; a base including a passage through which the extending section of the crossbar is movable and a seating for the stanchion post; and a connector including a first section and a second section. The second section of the connector is attachable to the extending section of the crossbar at one of a plurality of incremental positions. The first section of the connector is movable relative to the second section to adjust the position of the first section relative to the abutment member of the crossbar. In several embodiments, the first section is movable relative to the second section to abut the base on a side of the base opposite the side upon which the flange is positioned to adjust the position of the first section relative to the abutment member.

Locking and pivoting latch for a fence support post

A support post comprising first and second elongate members, a ceiling engaging member at the upper end of the first elongate member and a floor engaging member at the lower end of the second elongate member. A spring biases the ceiling engaging member away from the upper end of the first elongate member. A lock maintains the spring in a compressed configuration. When in its unlocked position the lock releases the spring and permits it to apply a biasing force to the ceiling engaging member, urging the ceiling engaging member away from the upper end of the first elongate member. A latch is secured to the first elongate member and permits telescopic movement between the elongate members when said lock is in its locked position. The latch engages the second elongate member when the lock is in its unlocked position and resists relative telescopic movement between the elongate members.

MODULAR SAFETY FENCING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF

Disclosed is a modular safety fencing system and a method for using a modular safety fencing system. The modular safety fencing system has at least one module having a rigid box and a covering, at least two telescopic side frames adjustable according to required height to enable the modular safety fencing system to extend between top surface and bottom surface of building structure, top connector connecting the modular safety fencing system to top surface, and at least one fastener for securely fastening the at least one module to bottom surface. When the modular safety fencing system is in use, the covering at least partially covers space between top surface and bottom surface of building structure.

MOBILE SAFETY FALL ARREST CART
20240342521 · 2024-10-17 ·

A mobile safety fall arrest cart is provided. The mobile safety fall arrest cart is configured to move along an edge of an elevated surface as a worker works along the edge. The worker is connected to the cart with a safety line. If the worker falls from the elevated surface, the weight of the worker causes a spike assembly to move from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration, a spike member engages the elevated surface so as to assist in arresting the worker's fall.

EXTENDABLE CONSTRUCTION STANCHION

Certain embodiments of the invention surround a reusable construction guardrail or stanchion. In certain embodiments, the reusable construction guardrail has features that aid in easier and faster assembly and disassembly. In certain embodiments of the invention, the construction guardrail is transportable, having telescoping features and folding features to allow greater ease in packing and transporting. Certain embodiments of the invention include a reusable construction guardrail having a uniform construction such that, when assembled, the reusable construction guardrail predictably meets certain OHSA safety standards.

Slidable barriers

Slidable barrier arrangements for a structure having a plurality of stories are described. A first retainer element can be operatively connected to the structure. The retainer element can span a plurality of stories of the structure. The retainer element can include a plurality of retainer segments, including an uppermost retainer segment and one or more lower retainer segments. The one or more lower retainer segments can include a lowermost retainer segment. A barrier and the first retainer element can be brought together such that a portion of the barrier is retainably engaged by the lower retainer segments of the first retainer element. The length of the barrier can substantially correspond to the length of the lower retainer segments. Thus, the uppermost retainer segment can extend vertically above an upper edge side of the barrier. The barrier can be selectively moved, such as by sliding, within the first retainer element.

Barrier safety gate

A barrier safety gate is provided which flexes and moves apart in order to receive the vertical path of motion of forks of a fork lift for loading and unloading from a raised platform. The barrier safety gate includes a first and a second pair of opening, flexible guidance members having a default, closed position and an opening, flexible path of motion. In particular, each pair of guidance members are laterally aligned to flex apart to receive the width of each respective fork of the fork lift which provides an opening force through their vertical paths of motion.

A MESH PANEL HOLDER

A mesh panel holder (1) for an edge protection barrier system (30) comprising mesh panels (33) supported on posts (31) by means of the mesh panel holders. The mesh panel holder has a post attachment member (2) and a mesh panel support (3) attached to the post attachment member. The mesh panel support has a mesh panel retainer (4) arranged to pivot between at least a first locked position and a second locked position at different pivotal angles. The mesh panel retainer (4) is arranged to, in the first locked position, enable a mesh panel to be received at the mesh panel support, and, in the second locked position, prevent a received mesh panel from being unintentionally removed from the mesh panel holder. The mesh panel holder includes a resilient locking member (5), wherein unlocking of the mesh panel retainer from the first and second locked positions requires operation of the resilient locking member.

Modular roof mounted staging bracket with safety rails
