Self-leveling system for a mobile hydraulic concert stage

A deployable mobile stage system with an automatic leveling system. A remote controlling device interfaces with an internal controller of the mobile stage for transforming the stage from a transport position to a deployed position. Multiple level sensors provide feedback to the controller of the stage to automatically level the stage using jacks and outriggers hydraulically or mechanically controlled by the controller. The level sensors could be 3-axis sensors which provide level data to the CPU of the internal controller, which then forms determinations as to which jacks to raise or lower, when, and at what rate.

Portable Stage Assembly

A portable stage assembly includes a trailer towable by a tow vehicle which has a floor and a roof. The trailer is open such that the floor defines a stage to facilitate a live performance. A pair of floor panels is each hingedly attached to the trailer and each of the floor panels extends in opposite directions from the trailer when the floor panels are in the deployed position. A pair of roof panels is each hingedly attached to the trailer and each of the roof panels extends in opposite directions from the trailer when the roof panels are positioned in a deployed position. A pair of stage curtains is each slidably attached to the roof of the trailer thereby facilitating the pair of stage curtains to conceal the stage when the stage curtains are closed or to expose the stage when the stage curtains are opened.

A rectangular stage includes a deck supported by a frame and removable legs. The legs insert into a corner receiving assembly below the stage deck at each corner. The leg receiving assembly includes a cylindrical socket into which the top of the leg inserts. The leg receiving assembly also includes a retaining linkage that extends through a slot in the side of the socket and engages the leg. The retaining linkage also includes a manually actuatable latch coupled to the cam to maintain the cam in engagement with the leg.

PORTABLE STAGE SYSTEM

A portable stage includes a folding framework supporting a removable deck. The framework includes opposing folding end framework assemblies and opposed side framework assemblies. The framework folds from an extended position for use and a folded positon wherein the framework is compact for storage. The side framework assemblies each include corner columns connected by angled portions having a V configuration forming an open space below the deck. The decks connect with pin connectors that extend into through holes in the deck. The pin connectors having a threaded connector supporting a pin that provides for relative axial movement when the pin is rotated from above to adjust stage height. Removable guardrails include mounting brackets that attach to the pin connectors.

ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT PLATFORM

An adjustable height system that provides an automatic manner of height adjustment for a platform. The platform is supported by a frame including a scissor lift assembly which raises and lowers the platform to any desirable height. The height is adjusted by activating a portable drive device which is engaged with an adapter element that couples a gearbox to a threaded drive member that actuates the scissor lift assembly. Using the portable drive device in forward or reverse, the platform is respectively raised and lowered.
