Wind-resistant beach umbrella
A wind-resistant umbrella including a canopy attached to an upper end of a pole member, flexible ribs, and multiple load sensitive connectors (LSCs) is provided. The flexible ribs flex inwardly at a wind speed of more than about 10 miles per hour (mph) to preclude wind from traveling under the canopy. The LSCs detachably couple an upper canopy section to a lower canopy section of the canopy. The upper canopy section partially overlaps the lower canopy section along the LSCs. Upon impact from a wind gust that exceeds a speed of more than about 20 mph, at least one of the LSCs detach to allow wind to flow freely through one or more vents created between the upper and lower canopy sections, while providing warnings to a user, and to preclude wind-induced tilting and lifting actions on the wind-resistant umbrella, thereby precluding dislodgment thereof from an anchoring location.
Umbrella stand assembly
An umbrella stand assembly includes an auger that is insertable into a granular support surface. A plurality of pivots is each of the pivots is coupled to and extends laterally away from the auger. A plurality of paddles is each of the paddles is pivotally coupled to a respective one of the pivots. Each of the paddles is positionable in a deployed position has each of the paddles to rest on the granular support surface when the auger is driven into the granular support surface. In this way the auger is stabilized with respect to a vertical axis. A tube extends upwardly from the auger and insertably receives a pole of an umbrella. In this way the umbrella is positioned above the granular support surface for shade.
MOLDED SCREW
The present disclosure provides a molded screw preferably comprised of a sleeve portion to receive a pole, the sleeve portion connected to a conical shank terminating at a tip. The shank is in turn further comprised of at least one thread, the thread to facilitate drilling of the screw into the ground. The thread is further comprised of recessed portions that receive earth or dirt or other substances during the drilling process and stabilize the screw when it is set in the ground. In another embodiment, the shank is further comprised of a high and low thread, which spiral in alternating fashion to the tip of the screw.
CONVERTIBLE HAMMOCK-SHADE TENT
A convertible hammock-shade tent configurable as a shade tent and a hammock has a top tier comprising a plurality of perimeter sleeves and a pair of loop sets formed on a rear surface of the top tier. Each of the pair of loop sets run diagonally across the rear surface of the top tier. A pair of tent post are provided wherein each tent post is attachable to the top tier by running through one of the pair of loop sets and each of the pair of tent post having a pair of ends configured for securing the tent post to ground. a. wherein the top tier and tent posts can be configured for use as a shade tent wherein the top tier comprises a shade tent canopy; and b. wherein the top tier can be configured for use as a hammock, wherein (i) the top tier comprises a hammock panel having a panel first end and a panel second end wherein the panel first end is attached to a first erecting structure and the panel second end is attached to a second erecting structure.
APPARATUS FOR SECURED GROUND ANCHORING
An apparatus for secured ground anchoring, including a stake that has a locking section at one end of the stake, an intermediate elongated portion and an anchoring section, a locking mechanism attached to the locking section, and a handle insertable into avoid within the stake, the handle is topped by a locking head connectable on top of the locking mechanism when the handle is inserted into the void.
System and method for pylon anchoring
Disclosed is a pylon anchoring system in the form of an extruded strip that may be wrapped around, and affixed to, a pylon or post such that the pylon anchoring system is positioned beneath a sand line when the pylon or post is installed and set. Advantageously, when the post or pylon is installed such that the pylon anchoring strip is positioned beneath sand (or some other ground surface), a plurality of anchor elements on the system generate a counteracting force to any external force that might cause the pylon to shift from a set position.
HELICAL PILE FOUNDATION SYSTEM
A post foundation system is provided. The system has a shaft with a helical disk attached to one end and a post support attached to the other end. The helical disk drives the shaft into the ground as a rotational force is applied to the shaft. A fin section is rotatably coupled about the shaft between its first and second ends. The fin section can have one or more fins extending outwardly from the shaft. The fin section engages the ground to stabilize the post foundation system as the shaft of the post foundation system is driven into the ground.

SIMULTANEOUS INSTALLER/INJECTOR/AUGER SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An augered fence post that is both an auger and a fence post. Like an auger, the augered fence post can be drilled into the ground. Unlike an auger, the augered fence post is left in the ground to become a fence post. When drilled into the ground, the helical screw cuts a hole. The fence post being hollow, fill material can be flowed through the post, out of flow holes, and directly into the hole. The flow holes are positioned such that they are down in the hole when the fill material is flowed. The fill material can be a mixture containing cement or can be a foam. The foam can be formed by mixing two or more components that produce a foam that hardens within the hole.
Anchor disc device
The anchor disc device supports and anchors an umbrella and includes a tube post to receive the free end of the pole of a beach umbrella with an anchor disc portion attached to the free end of the tube post. An end cap is installed in the free end of an extension of the anchor disc portion. The anchor disc portion includes an outwardly extending flange for engagement with sand into which the device is buried to help avoid disengagement of the umbrella from the sand from wind and the like. For removal, the umbrella is rotated in large circular motions to form a cone-shaped hole after which the umbrella and connected anchor disc device can be removed. The anchor disc device can then be detached from the umbrella, if desired.
