Umbrella anchoring system
An umbrella anchoring system including an umbrella coupling unit assembly and a ground spike assembly is disclosed herein. The umbrella coupling unit assembly includes an upper umbrella coupling aperture including a locking mechanism to aid a user in securing an umbrella therein. Furthermore, the umbrella coupling unit assembly includes a lower aperture configured to receive the ground spike assembly therein. The ground spike assembly is securely mounted to a ground surface at a deep enough length to efficiently support an umbrella. Additionally, the umbrella anchoring system also includes a hand crank disposed on the umbrella coupling unit assembly to aid a user in securing the umbrella coupling unit assembly to the ground spike assembly. The umbrella anchoring system increases the safety of a user by providing increased protection to anchored umbrellas from strong winds.
GROUND MOUNTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTERACTIVE PROPERTY ADVERTISING DEVICES
A ground mounting system for supporting a post includes a sleeve configured to receive the post therein, a plate secured to the sleeve and defining at least one slot therethrough, an auger positioned to extend from the plate to secure the plate to the ground, and at least one stake receivable within the at least one slot to facilitate securement of the plate to the ground.
GROUND MOUNTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTERACTIVE PROPERTY ADVERTISING DEVICES
This disclosure provides a system for interactive property advertising. The system includes a headpiece, a motion detector apparatus, a rechargeable battery, and a post. The headpiece includes a solar charging system and a display configured to display advertising on a property. The motion detector apparatus is configured to detect a user based on motion relative to the headpiece and communicate with a contact associated with the property from a predetermined contact list. The solar charging system is configured to charge the battery.
SECURE, TWO-PIECE POLE HOLDER
A two-piece pole holder includes an insert and a base. The insert is embedded within soil or concrete. The base is threadingly connected to the top of the insert to form the pole holder. The insert has a solid bottom end for receiving a pole. The bottom end of the insert can also include a drain opening for allowing water to drain. The pole can be an outdoor umbrella pole or volleyball net poles. The inner diameter and height of the insert and the base are selected such that improved stability is provided to the pole such that the pole does not tip over in strong winds. The pole holder can be installed in a water feature, such as a swimming pool.
Support apparatus for supporting a headstone
A support apparatus for supporting a headstone, the apparatus comprising: a pile having a top end and a bottom end; a helical member secured to the bottom end of the pile; and a pile head secured to the top end of the pile, the pile head having a mounting portion engaging the top end of the pile and a holding portion extending away from the mounting portion for engaging a bottom end portion of the headstone to maintain the headstone in a vertical orientation.
Helical pile foundation system
A post foundation system is provided. The system has a shaft with a helical disk attached to one end and a post support attached to the other end. The helical disk drives the shaft into the ground as a rotational force is applied to the shaft. A fin section is rotatably coupled about the shaft between its first and second ends. The fin section can have one or more fins extending outwardly from the shaft. The fin section engages the ground to stabilize the post foundation system as the shaft of the post foundation system is driven into the ground.
Anchor and light post assembly
An assembly for anchoring a light post assembly with a ground anchor that secures to a ground box comprising a plate with a plurality of walls extending in a first direction to penetrate the ground and a plurality of fasteners extending in a second direction from the plate and receiving thereon a light post base having a plurality of openings for aligned receiving of the fasteners and receiving nuts thereon to secure the light post base to the ground box.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MACHINES FOR AUTOMATED SCREW ANCHOR DRIVING
In a machine for driving screw anchors and other foundation components, a desired embedment depth is calculated based on a minimum required embedment depth, work point height and length of available upper leg sections. Once calculated, the machine automatically drives the screw anchor to the depth so that one of the available upper leg lengths will fit between the driven screw anchor and apex truss hardware. If uplift is detected during driving, the machine will add additional embedment depth. In-situ validation of driven screw anchors may be performed after the embedment depth is reached.
AUGER SUPPORT STAND
A rotary auger support stand for holding objects such as decoys above the ground. The auger support stand includes at least one rod of longitudinal support member or shaft. The rotary auger anchor comprises a helical coil for screwing that end of the stake into the ground. handle means such as an S-shaped handle provides a crank handle for rotatably screwing the anchor into the ground or at least two opposing legs extend perpendicular from and between the shaft and auger forming a base. The distal end of opposing legs are bent upward perpendicular from the ground or bent upward and inwardly at an acute angle toward the shaft forming handles for rotating the auger into the ground. The transverse legs extending from the elongated support pole provides a base bearing against the ground for increased lateral support. The top distal end of the shaft includes means for supporting an object.
Anchoring umbrella stand with manually extendable drill bit
Disclosed is an anchoring umbrella stand with a manually extendable drill bit. In certain exemplary embodiments disclosed herein, the anchoring umbrella stand includes a drill bit that can be manually extendable from and manually retractable into an elongate housing body by use of a crank handle. Manual operation of the crank handle rotates and translates the drill bit between a retracted position within the elongate housing body and an extended position outside the elongate housing body. In certain embodiments, the anchoring umbrella stand further includes a gear train assembly and/or a stabilizing plate to further aid a user in anchoring the umbrella stand. The anchoring umbrella stand facilitates umbrella anchoring by providing a more stable anchoring mechanism that requires less strength, less coordination, and no electric power to operate.
