Apparatus and method for identifying operational status of umbrella, parasol or shading system utilizing lighting elements
An umbrella includes a first lighting element, a second lighting element, a first electrical component associated with the first lighting element, a second electrical component associated with the second lighting element, and a computing device. The computing device includes one or more processors, one or more physical memory devices and computer-readable instructions being executable by the one or more processors to 1) receive first status message or signals from the first electrical component; 2) receive second status message or signals from the second electrical component; 3) generate first light element commands based, at least in part, on the received first status messages and communicate the generated first light element commands to the first light element; and 4) generate second light element commands based, at least in part, on the received second status messages and communicate the generated second light element commands to the second light element.
Molded screw
The present disclosure provides a molded screw preferably comprised of a sleeve portion to receive a pole, the sleeve portion connected to a conical shank terminating at a tip. The shank is in turn further comprised of at least one thread, the thread to facilitate drilling of the screw into the ground. The thread is further comprised of recessed portions that receive earth or dirt or other substances during the drilling process and stabilize the screw when it is set in the ground. In another embodiment, the shank is further comprised of a high and low thread, which spiral in alternating fashion to the tip of the screw.
Mounting and lift apparatus for garden devices
A lift apparatus and method of use thereof for securing a garden device and moving the garden device between a lowered position and a lifted position are provided. The lift apparatus broadly includes a base, a lift rod, and a universal mounting plate. The base is configured to be secured in a position on a ground surface. The lift rod is removably coupled to and extends outwardly away from the base. Further, the lift rod is configured to alternatively operate to move the garden device between the lowered position and the lifted position. The universal mounting plate is removably coupled to the lift rod at an end of the lift rod opposite that of the base. Further, the mounting plate includes engagement pins configured to interface with elongated slots to secure the garden device to the mounting plate.
Basketball hoop pole holder
A holder for a pole of a basketball hoop system includes a pole sleeve for receiving the pole, a tightening system for securing the pole into the pole sleeve in a solidary relationship, and a mounting bracket to secure the pole sleeve to a ground directly or via a stake. The pole holder includes a first mounting element defining a first mounting surface for securing the mounting bracket to the ground in a generally parallel relationship, and a second mounting element that is fixedly mountable to the first mounting element and that defines a second mounting surface for fixedly receiving the pole sleeve in a generally parallel relationship, such that the pole sleeve is offset from the first mounting surface. The first and second mounting elements can be assembled within a first range of relative angular positions therebetween about a first axis that is generally parallel to the first mounting surface, and the pole sleeve and second mounting element can be assembled within a second range of relative angular positions therebetween about a third axis that is generally perpendicular to the second mounting surface and to the second axis.
MULTI-PURPOSE BOLT UNIT FOR FIXING OBJECT TO DRILLED HOLE OF SOFT CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURE
A multi-purpose bolt unit for fixing an object to a drilled hole formed in a soft construction structure. The multi-purpose bolt unit including: a cylindrical body inserted into the drilled hole; a front end tip formed at a lower end of the cylindrical body and having a larger outer diameter than an outer diameter of the cylindrical body; an upper thread surface formed in an upper side of the cylindrical body while spaced apart from the front end tip; an elastic packing pipe inserted into the cylindrical body and placed on the front end tip; an upper washer inserted into the cylindrical body and placed on the elastic packing pipe; a compression nut screwed to the upper thread surface and pressurizing the upper washer so that the elastic packing pipe expands; and a fastening screw groove formed inside the cylindrical body and opened upward through the compression nut.
FASTENING ELEMENT, IN PARTICULAR FOR SOLAR PANELS
A fastening element, in particular for solar panels, includes a tubular pole, a load element, and a ground anchor sleeve. The fastening element may include a tubular pole holder for insertion of a free end of the tubular pole. The fastening element further relates to a solar fence, having at least one solar panel which is disposed between two fastening elements and fastened thereto.
MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE CONTROL OF MULTIPLE UMBRELLAS
A mobile communications device includes a wireless communication transceiver to communicate commands or messages and to receive commands, measurements or messages, one or more memory devices, one or more processors, computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory devices, accessed from the one or more memory devices and executable by the one or more processors to cause the mobile device to communicate, via the wireless communication transceiver, commands, messages or instructions to a first umbrella to control some operations of the first umbrella and communicate, via the wireless communication transceiver, commands, messages or instructions to a second umbrella to control some operations of the second umbrella. The wireless transceiver may communicate utilizing a personal area network (PAN) communications protocol, a wireless local area network communications protocol or a cellular communications protocol.
UMBRELLA INCLUDING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION HUB
A first intelligent umbrella includes a first base assembly, a first support assembly connected to the base assembly, a first shading expansion assembly connected to the support assembly, the shading assembly further comprising one or more arms connected to the shading expansion assembly, a wireless communication transceiver; and a computing device. The computing device may be located inside the first support assembly. The computing device comprises one or more processors, one or more memory modules, and computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules. The computer-readable instructions fetched from the one or more memory modules and executed by the one or more processors communicate commands, instructions or messages to an external wireless network transceiver, the external wireless network transceiver to communicate the commands, instructions or messages to a global communications network.
Tripod Stand for Use on Loose Soil
A collapsible stand that is designed for use on loose soil or sand. The collapsible stand has a central shaft and an auger that extends from the shaft. A slide hub moves along the central shaft between a first position and a second position. Legs radially extend from the central shaft. Linkages are used to interconnect the legs with the slide hub. When the slide hub moves to its first position along the central shaft, the linkages move the legs into a stowed configuration. When the slide hub moves to the second position, the linkages move the legs into a deployed configuration. The central shaft is set into the ground using the auger. The legs are deployed, wherein the legs have footpads that rest upon the ground. The pull of the auger biases the footpads against the ground and create a highly stable stand.
