Foldable modular structure for a fast-erecting tent or similar shelter

A foldable modular structure for a fast-erecting shelter comprising the assembly of profiled sections that form at least two opposing arches linked by at least two purlins, including one ridge purlin. A first end of the ridge purlin is linked by a hinge to a first ridge part of a first arch, said hinge comprising first pivoting means allowing said ridge purlin to pivot on a transverse axis, parallel to the plane of the arch, in order to allow the purlin to fold parallel to said arch, and second pivoting means allowing the ridge purlin to pivot on an axis perpendicular to the plane of the arch, and the second end of the ridge purlin comprises linking means for linking with a second ridge part of a second arch, said linking means being arranged to provide a dismountable but rigid link between the ridge purlin and said second linking part.

A sliding connecting member for a shelter framework includes a sliding connecting member having a lever connected to a cam. When pulled or rotated, the lever pulls out a locking pin from an aperture in a leg member. In this respect, releasing the locking mechanism allows the sliding connecting member to slide along the leg member and the framework can be folded or unfolded.

Tent support

A tent support includes a plurality upright rods, a top module provided at a center of a top of the tent support, a plurality of side rod assemblies each connected to every adjacent two of the upright rods, and a plurality of top rod assemblies connected to the side rod assemblies and the top module. At least one positioning hole is provided at a junction of two adjacent side walls of each upright rod. A sliding seat provided on each upright rod includes a positioning member which is selectively engaged in the positioning hole, a spring, a positioning pin and an outward protruding button therein. The tent support, as a whole, is simple in structure, easy to assemble, and stable in positioning.

Disclosed are tent frames and tents. A tent frame includes first and second top poles, first and second connectors, and a locking mechanism. Each of the first and second top poles has a first end portion and a second end portion. The first connector is fixedly coupled to the first end portion of the first top pole, and slidably coupled to and movable along the second pole. The second connector is fixedly coupled to the first end portion of the second top pole, and slidably coupled to and movable along the first top pole. The locking mechanism selectively restricts the first and second top poles from moving with respect to each other.

ILLUMINATION TENT POLE AND TENT FRAME HAVING SAME
20170292285 · 2017-10-12 ·

Disclosed are illumination tent poles, tent frames and tents having one or more illumination tent poles. An illumination tent pole includes a tent pole, an elongated casing, a strip light source and a cover. The elongated casing is coupled to the tent pole or integrally formed with the tent pole. The elongated casing has an opening along a longitudinal direction of the elongated casing and facing away from the tent pole. The strip light source is disposed in the elongated casing along the longitudinal direction of the elongated casing. The strip light source emits a light when electrically connected to an electrical power source. The cover is coupled to the elongated casing and covers the opening of the elongated casing. The cover is made of a material that is at least partially transparent to the light emitted by the strip light source.
