User-customized delivery of streamed multi-sensory media to a vibroacoustic therapy bed
A multi-sensory media experience delivery platform includes a vibroacoustic therapy bed that delivers a multi-sensory media experience locally stored, streaming, on-demand, or real-time signals. The vibroacoustic therapy bed drives a plurality of sensory output devices based on a set of sensory output channels to produce sounds, vibrations, light patterns, or other sensory outputs. The channels may be derived from dedicated signals created for a specific sensory output device or may be derived from an audio file or other general set of waveforms. The multi-sensory media experience may be customized to a user based on user profile data, metadata associated with the multi-sensory media experience, or biometric data. Furthermore, users can create customized multi-sensory media experiences from libraries of sounds or other media.
COMMUNICATION DEVICES, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS
Numerous aspects of communication devices, methods, and systems are described in this application. One aspect is an apparatus comprising an energy generator comprising: a plurality of generator elements operable to output a plurality of different energy types in a signal direction toward a physiologic tissue; a printed circuit board that mechanically supports and electrically connects the plurality of generator elements to each other; each generator element of the plurality of generator elements being independently operable, when the energy generator is positioned relative to the physiologic tissue, to communicate with different nerves associated with the physiologic tissue by outputting a different portion of an energy signal in the signal direction toward the physiologic tissue with one energy type of the plurality of different energy types.
MULTI-SENSORY EAR-WEARABLE DEVICES FOR STRESS RELATED CONDITION DETECTION AND THERAPY
Embodiments herein relate to ear-wearable systems and devices that can detect and/or take actions to prevent or alleviate stress related conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the like. In an embodiment, an ear-wearable stress therapy system is included having a control circuit, a first sensor package, a microphone, and an electroacoustic transducer, wherein the electroacoustic transducer is in electrical communication with the control circuit. The ear-wearable stress therapy system can be configured to initiate administration of desensitization and reprocessing (DR) therapy to a device wearer. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Heating device
A heating device includes: a temperature change unit that changes a temperature of a temperature change area; an induction unit that applies a stimulus to an induction area; and a controller, wherein the induction area is an area on skin surface, or an area that occupies a space that can be perspectively projected on the skin surface, the induction area is an area that does not overlap with the temperature change area, the induction unit applies at least one of a tactile stimulus and a visual stimulus to the induction area, the controller executes a first control for changing a temperature of a first temperature change area of the temperature change area and a second control for applying a stimulus to a first induction area of the induction area, and the second control is performed in accordance with the first control.
PHYTO MATERIAL TABLET, METHOD AND APPARATUS
Phyto material tablets, tablet vaporizers, methods and apparatus for forming phyto material tablets. The tablets are formed to increase vaporization efficiency. Tablets can include break regions to facilitate fracturing into multiple pieces for vaporization. The tablets can also include multiple layers of different phyto material mixtures. Compression molds are used to shape the tablets. The compression molds can be provided on a rotational assembly to facilitate rapid manufacturing of multiple tablets. The vaporizers include heating chambers that are configured to increase the surface area of the tablets exposed for vaporization. The heating chambers include compression or fracture members that compress and/or encourage fracturing of the tablets to assist vaporization.
DEVICE FOR EFFECTIVE NON-INVASIVE DESYNCHRONIZING NEUROSTIMULATION
A device that suppresses a pathological synchronous and oscillatory neuron activity, and includes a non-invasive stimulation for stimulation, using stimuli, of neurons in the patient's brain and/or spinal cord, where those neurons are showing pathologically synchronous and oscillatory neuron activity, and the stimuli are designed to suppress are this activity when administered to the patient. Moreover, a measuring unit records measurement signals reflecting the neuron activity of the stimulated neurons and a control and analysis unit controls the stimulation unit to administer stimuli, check the success of stimulation based on the measurement, and, if the stimulation success is not sufficient, insert one or more stimulation breaks in the application of the stimuli or extend one or more stimulation breaks, where no stimuli that could suppress the pathological synchronous and oscillatory neuron activity are applied during the stimulation breaks.
HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICES WITH MOTION SICKNESS PREVENTION AND MITIGATION FEATURES
Embodiments herein relate to devices and related systems and methods for motion sickness prevention and mitigation. In an embodiment, a method of preventing or mitigating motion sickness in a subject is included, the method tracking motion of the subject using a first motion sensor; estimating a vestibular system input based on tracked motion of the subject; tracking head position of the subject using the first motion sensor; estimating a visual system input based on tracked head position of the subject; estimating consistency between the vestibular system input and the visual system input; and initiating a responsive measure if the estimated consistency crosses a threshold value. Other embodiments are also included herein.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH PRE-CODED SUBROUTINES FOR A VEHICLE
A communication system for a vehicle includes an assistance mode for communication between a user of the vehicle and a remote assistance unit. The assistance mode is activable during a concerning situation. The assistance mode includes multiple pre-coded subroutines selectively executable to provide audio instruction and video instruction to the user, via a display in the vehicle. The multiple pre-coded subroutines are triggered by the remote assistance unit. Operating the assistance mode includes relaying of selected data from the vehicle to the remote assistance unit. The selected data includes actions performed by the user. The assistance mode is activable by at least one of the remote assistance unit, the user via the user interface, and the vehicle. The communication system may include a controller adapted to at least partially execute the assistance mode.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED STRESS MONITORING AND INTERVENTION
Systems and methods for detection and/or intervention of stress episodes such as nightmares during sleep activity or flashbacks or anxiety attacks during waking or sleep activity. In some embodiments, sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, heart rate sensors, and/or other sensors, may be used for monitoring stress indicators indicative of a user's stress level. The sensed stress indicators may be used to calculate a stress level. If the stress level meets or exceeds a stress level threshold, haptic, audio, visual, and/or other feedback or alerts may be used to draw a user's attention and thus interrupt the stress episode.
