A post coupler expands laterally. The post coupler includes a first member that is hollow and has a first slanted face. A second member is also hollow and has a second slanted face that is abutted with the first slanted face. A rod extends through the first and second members; the rod has a head that is disposed at a head end and threads disposed at a thread end. A nut is engaged with the threads, and rotating the nut causes the first member to extend in a first lateral direction and causes the second cylindrical member to extend in a second lateral direction opposite the first lateral direction.

An integrated fence irrigation and grow system is provided. The system includes one or more post members, one or more bed members disposed on the post members and an irrigation system coupled to a water supply and connected to each of the bed members to introduce water to each of the bed members. An improvement to a previously filed US patent, The Stackable Reinforced Concrete Post for Various Outdoor Applications serves as a way to improve the fence as it is known today. By replacing the typical wooden posts used in fencing with several stacked, sturdy, reinforced blocks of concrete, the fence posts should never have to be replaced in a lifetime. Additionally, these may also be used for the application of barbed wire with the addition of a groove in the concrete blocks. With a relatively simple one-time application consisting of digging a hole in the ground and stacking each consecutive block on top of the other, this invention is not only easy to use, but effective.

The present invention relates to a fence assembly and method of installing a fence assembly on a support surface having underground obstacles. The method for installing a fence assembly includes providing at least three posts, brackets each having a first plate and a second plate that is connected perpendicularly to the first plate, at least one rail, and a fence fabric. The posts are inserted in a support surface, such that the at least three posts are spaced from one another at varying distances. The first plates of the brackets are secured to a front surface of each post, and the rail is secured to the second plate of the brackets in an orientation perpendicular to the posts. The fence fabric is secured to the rail so such that the fence assembly components are not accessible from the exterior of the fence assembly.

A lightning protection and safety rail system comprising a number of bases, vertical posts, horizontal rails, caps, mounting brackets, and lightning cables. The bases anchor the system to an elevated surface. The vertical posts extend upward from the bases. The horizontal rails extend between the vertical rails. The caps are positioned at tops of the vertical posts. The lightning cables are connected to the caps via the mounting brackets and are configured to be connected to an electrical ground. Lightning current travels from the caps, through the lightning cables, and to the electrical ground. Lightning current may also pass through the horizontal rails to a lightning cable attached to another cap.

A fence bracket kit for aligning and attaching posts and rails for the construction of a fence includes a sidewall bracket fits around a sidewall post and aligns a pair of sidewall rails such that a pair of sidewall portions of a fence are aligned. A corner bracket fits against a corner of a corner post and aligns a pair of corner rails perpendicular to each other, thereby facilitating the perpendicular alignment of a first corner portion and a second corner portion of the fence. A first end bracket and a second end bracket couple to an end rail at the end of a fence.
