STRUCTURAL FOOTER
A post assembly includes an elongate first portion having a upper first end and an opposing lower second end. The first portion configured for supporting a structure. The post assembly also includes a second portion formed from a non-deteriorating material coupled to the second end of the first portion. A coupling device couples the first portion to the second portion.
BARRIER WITH CABLE SYSTEM
A protective barrier includes a first end piece including a first opening and a first anchoring member for securing the first end piece to a surface, a second end piece including a second opening and a second anchoring member for securing the second end piece to the surface, a rail extending between the first end piece and the second end piece, the rail having a first end disposed in the first opening of the first end piece and a second end disposed in the second opening of the second end piece, and a cable system including a first fastener coupled to the first anchoring member, a second fastener coupled to the second anchoring member, and a cable having a first end attached to the first fastener and a second attached to the second fastener, the cable extending from the first fastener, through the first opening, through the rail, through the second opening, and to the second fastener
Fence system
A fence system for receiving fence infill therein, wherein fence posts are arranged at selected locations along the fence as a first post and a second post. Upper and lower rails are positioned between the first post and the second post, to receive and restrict lateral movement of fence infill positioned therebetween, and are selectively movable and securable within the posts to permit vertical and angular adjustment of the upper rail and lower rail along the length thereof.
Modular perimeter fencing system
A system and method of installing a modular fencing system in which slotted posts are used in conjunction with hollow longitudinal rails to support the fence panels in a manner that creates a unified curtain wall perimeter barrier. The posts, rails, and fence panels are made of metal. Plastic sleeves with angularly-tilted ends are inserted into both sides of a slot opening to prevent water intrusion and to facilitate fencing on a slope. The rails are then slidably inserted into and through the sleeves to be held in place through the slots. Adjacent rails are mechanically fastened to each other. The full length of the fence is bolted to the rails to ensure that any load or impact to the fence is distributed throughout the entire system. For additional strength, each fence panel is also through-bolted to metallic finish plates, which are mounted on the slotted posts for seamless and aesthetically-pleasing look.
ENGINEERED RANCH RAIL FENCING
A system for constructing ranch rail fencing with posts and rails from engineered wood products, including, but not limited to, oriented-strand board (OSB), laminated veneer lumber (LVL), fiber strand, and/or laminated strand lumber (LSL). The engineered wood products may be treated and/or encapsulated, such as zinc borate (ZB) treated wood-based composites with high resin content, coated during manufacturing on all surfaces and sides by aliphatic polyurea coatings.
Pipe racks
A pipe rack and a method for making a pipe rack where the pipe rack may include at least one foundation, two legs, and a horizontal support. The two legs are supported by the at least one foundation. Each of the two legs includes at least one aperture. The horizontal support has two ends. The first end is located in an aperture in a first leg of the two legs and a second end of the horizontal support is located in an aperture in a second leg of the two legs. A rod forms a joint between the foundation and one of the two legs. The rod is located in the aperture in the upper surface of the foundation and in an aperture in a lower surface in the one of the two legs.
Gate Upright
A gate upright has a hold for a rail and one or more inner walls which can be coated with glue prior to the insertion of the rail. In a preferred embodiment, there are two inner walls, one of which is only a partial inner wall, which allows the user to coat the outside surface of the inner walls with glue, then insert the rail at an angle, to avoid screeding the glue toward the back of the gate upright, then rotate the rail onto the full inner wall, and slide the rail a short distance to lock it behind the partial inner wall. In another preferred embodiment, there is only one full inner wall, and the rail is inserted at an angle, then rotated against the inner wall. Glue beads at intersections between the rail and gate upright form an interlocking bracket for further support.
GATE CORNER INSERT
A gate assembly is disclosed including a gate rail and an upright including a plurality of walls defining a cavity therebetween. A first of the walls includes an opening that is configured to receive the gate rail therethrough such that the gate rail extends into the cavity. The gate assembly further includes a gate corner insert configured for insertion into the cavity of the upright through a second opening of the upright. The gate corner insert includes a base and a plurality of protrusions extending from the base. The base and the plurality of protrusions define a second cavity therebetween with first and second protrusions of the plurality of protrusions defining a third opening in communication with the second cavity. The third opening and the second cavity are configured to receive the gate rail therein for removable attachment to the gate corner insert.
FENCE INSTALLATION METHOD
A method of installing a fence is provided including advancing a plurality of beams into the ground so that the beams achieve a substantially vertical orientation, and installing a plurality of tubular posts over the beams so that the posts automatically attain the substantially vertical orientation, without having to dispose any other levelling structures between the beams and the posts. One or more horizontal rails can be installed relative to adjacent beams and tubular posts. The tubular posts can define holes, and the opposing ends of a rail can be inserted through corresponding holes. Where the beams have longitudinal channels, the ends of the rails can project through the holes in the posts and into those channels. The tubular posts and/or rails can be secured in place with fasteners. The method provides an inexpensive and quick way to install a fence without digging holes for the beams.
JOINING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HORIZONTAL VINYL FENCE
A system includes a first mid-rail slit positioned at a first position. A second mid-rail slit is positioned at a second position directly across from the first mid-rail slit. A first and second stile are positioned between the first and second mid-rail slit. The first and second stile are inserted and positioned in a perpendicular direction to a bottom panel to be aligned in a vertical direction between the first and second mid-rail slit. The first and second stile provide separation for a plurality of decorative screen panels. The plurality of decorative screen panels are positioned in contact with the first and second stile.
