Fence brace system adapted to secure a fence rail to a fence post
The present invention comprises a brace adapted to secure one or more fence rails to a fence post. The present invention brace may optionally be installed onto an existing fence or on a new fence. The invention includes a fence post brace member adapted to connect to one or more sides of a fence post and a fence rail brace member adapted to connect to two or more sides of a fence rail. The fence post brace member may form a vertical picket fastener slot for use in affixing a picket to the fence post. The fence post brace system may be adapted to secure a fence rail to a fence post such as those having a fence rail positioned on one or more sides of the fence post and those defining a channel for receiving a fence rail.
Apparatus and Methods for Providing a Portable Fence
The invention pertains to a portable fencing system that provides for easy and versatile positioning and removal. In one aspect, the portable fencing system includes sleeves that are pre-positioned in the ground so as to define a predetermined boundary suitable for a particular repetitive use. In another aspect, a portable fencing system that is without pre-positioned sleeves is described, which is more suitable for applications where the insertion of semi-permanent sleeves is impracticable, or where added positioning flexibility is desired.
Readily installable fence system, and method therefor
A fence includes a plurality of posts, and fence panels having rails which extend across the plurality of posts, and are secured thereto. Jambs may be formed onto the fence system, and one or more gates may be hung to the jambs.
RADIALLY EXPANDING POST EXTENDER
A post coupler expands laterally. The post coupler includes a first member that is hollow and has a first slanted face. A second member is also hollow and has a second slanted face that is abutted with the first slanted face. A rod extends through the first and second members; the rod has a head that is disposed at a head end and threads disposed at a thread end. A nut is engaged with the threads, and rotating the nut causes the first member to extend in a first lateral direction and causes the second cylindrical member to extend in a second lateral direction opposite the first radial direction.
Portable residential fence system
A portable residential fence system with a lower post surround assembly, a middle post surround assembly and an upper post surround assembly. Each assembly is made of four adjoining strips. The lower and middle surround assemblies are attached to each other by angled joining strips. The lower post strips include extension brackets that are flat to the ground. The lower and upper surround strips include apertures that allow bolts to extend horizontally to attach fencing to the post. Stakes can be driven through apertures in the lower assembly extension brackets and into the ground so that a fence post can be held in an upright positon without the need for cement footings or other holding methods that are not portable. The surround strips and joining strips are all made of rigid material such as metal or glass filled plastic.
Post-to-beam connector assembly
A connector assembly for structural members includes a support plate that has a primary portion and a first tab portion extending from the primary portion. A second tab portion also extends from the primary portion, and the primary portion defines at least one through hole that is configured to receive a fastener. A first stirrup plate defines a first slot that is configured to receive the first tab portion such that the first stirrup plate extends from the support plate in a first direction. The first stirrup plate further defines at least one through hole that is configured to receive a fastener. A second stirrup plate defines a second slot that is configured to receive the second tab portion such that the second stirrup plate extends from the support plate in a second direction opposite the first direction.
STRAINER POST CONNECTOR
Techniques are provided for a metal connector for connecting a strut to a fencing strainer post. The connector includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion being elastically deformable and arranged to fit around a strainer post. The second portion arranged, when the first portion is deformed, to be inserted into a cavity in a strut and arranged to engage the strut by an at least partial reversal of the deformation.
ADAPTABLE FENCE BRACING
Apparatus and associated methods relate to fence bracing apparatus having a tension adjusting module(s) to diagonally brace a fence post(s) and/or adaptive fence bracket(s) for flexibly bracing the fence post(s) for various fence configurations. In an illustrative example, a fence tensioning module may include a tension regulation module coupled to a tension adjusting link. For example, the fence tensioning module may adjust a position of the tension adjusting link relative to the fence tensioning module so that a tension of the tension adjusting link is adjusted. The adaptive fence bracket, for example, may include a butterfly clamp and an adaptive C-bracket having two sidearms configured to couple, for example, to fence rails and/or other tension members to form various fence bracing configurations. The butterfly clamp, for example, may include a ridge portion to engage a blade of the fence post. Various implementations may advantageously provide adaptive and secure fence construction.
Fence Brace System
The present invention comprises a brace adapted to secure a fence rail to a fence post. The present invention brace may optionally be installed onto an existing fence or on a new fence. The invention includes a first fence rail brace member adapted to connect to two or more sides of a first fence rail, a second fence rail brace member adapted to connect to two or more sides of a second fence rail, and a fence post member adapted to connect to two or more sides of a fence post. The fence post brace member may form a vertical picket fastener slot, the first fence rail brace member may form a first horizontal picket fastener slot, and the second fence rail brace member may form a second horizontal picket fastener slot.
Fencing bracket
A fencing bracket having a box structure having opposing left and right sidewalls extending from opposing longitudinal ends forming a U-shaped cross-section, and a return support flange disposed at a lower edge thereof, wherein the left and the right sidewall have a pair of aligned cross beam openings and a first and second opening respectively. The fencing bracket includes a strap having a first fiat portion having a third opening, a middle portion (that is either rounded or rectangular), and a second flat portion having a fourth opening, the middle portion is between the first flat portion and the second flat portion. The first opening is aligned with the third opening and the second opening is aligned with the fourth opening, and a fastener passes through the first, second, third and fourth openings and is retained via another fastener at either the third or fourth opening.
