An adjustable door assembly for a vehicle door can include a striker and an adjustable mechanism connected to the striker that moves the striker to any of a plurality of positions that range from a first position through a second position. The adjustable mechanism can include one of a geared mechanism and a cam lock mechanism. The geared mechanism can include a pinion gear and a rack gear engaging the pinion gear. The striker can be mounted onto the rack gear to move the striker to any of the plurality of positions. The cam lock mechanism can include a first tube, a second tube telescoping in the first tube, a locking bolt, and a lever. The lever can selectively move the locking bolt to an unlocked state that permits the second tube to telescope inside the first tube and move the striker between the first position and the second position.

An electric strike lock has a strike body, a latch having a latch bolt and a deadlatch, a keeper having a stop block to abut against the deadlatch, and an adjusting section having an elliptical adjusting hole corresponding to a screw hole on the keeper and an adjusting piece fitting a shape of the elliptical adjusting hole and having an eccentric through hole for an adjusting screw to pass through and to be screwed to the screw hole. The keeper further combined with a solenoid which has a movable rod passing through the keeper and engaging the stop block, and the elliptical adjusting hole has its major axis arranged in the same direction as an axis of the solenoid. By changing the placement of the adjusting piece, the positions of the stop block and the deadlatch can be altered to adjust the strike lock into a fail-safe or a fail-secure strike lock.

The present invention discloses a lock mechanism, comprising a latch mechanism that includes a remote latch actuator that is positioned remotely from a remote latch assembly and a keeper assembly, with the latch mechanism housed and accommodated within an enclosure.

The present invention relates to a catcher release device for a refrigerator and freezer, and more particularly, to a catcher release device for a refrigerator and freezer that has releasing means disposed on the inside of a side panel on which a catcher is located in such a manner as to be connected to the catcher, so that if a person is locked in the refrigerator and freezer, an inner handle of the releasing means just rotates, irrespective of a door lock device, thus allowing the catcher to be separated from the door lock device to rapidly open a door for the refrigerator and freezer.

An adjustable-latch system including an adjustable-receiver assembly and an adjustable-striker-bar assembly. The adjustable-receiver assembly includes a receiver sleeve having a pair of oppositely-disposed channels formed therein and a receiver slidably disposed within the pair of oppositely-disposed channels. A first plurality of fastening members mount the receiver sleeve. The adjustable-receiver assembly further includes a receiver-sleeve cap slidably disposed within the receiver sleeve. The adjustable-striker-bar assembly includes a mounting plate having a striker bar extending laterally therefrom, a second plurality of fastening members for mounting the mounting plate, and a striker-bar cap slidably coupled with the mounting plate. A position of the adjustable-receiver assembly may be adjusted relative to the adjustable-striker-bar assembly without removal of the first plurality of fastening members. A position of the adjustable-striker-bar assembly may be adjusted relative to the adjustable-receiver assembly without removal of the second plurality of fastening members.

A door strike plate that can be temporarily mounted to a first location for proper alignment, tested while still temporarily mounted and moved to a second location if the first location is not properly aligned. It comprises a metal strike plate having a plurality of mounting screw holes on either side of a centrally-located latch hole; an appropriately sized dot of an adhesive/putty applied to a region adjacent each mounting screw hole. The door strike plate further includes a permanent mounting screw for each mounting screw hole in the metal strike plate.

An adjustable gate latch bar can include: (i) a base plate configured to be fixedly secured to a gate, where the base plate includes first and second elongated slots; (ii) a gate latch bar having first and second bar mounting holes that correspond to the first and second elongated slots; and (iii) first and second thumb screws configured to connect the gate latch bar to the base plate such that the gate latch bar is adjustable when at least one of the first and second thumb screws is loosened, and the gate latch bar is secured to the base plate when the first and second thumb screws are tightened.

A part of the locking mechanism is formed at the handle mechanism in a part thereof that protrudes into the housing. A form-fit unit includes at least one form-fit element and at least one form-fit element counterpart, such that on locking and/or closing the door, the at least one form-fit element at least partly engages in the at least one form-fit element counterpart.

A method of securely capturing a latch bolt mounted in a door includes mounting an electric strike assembly in an associated door jamb and positioning a shim at a predetermined position in the cavity.
