COMBINATION DRUG THERAPIES
Combination drag therapies comprising a 5-HTZA receptor agonist and an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist (e.g., nitrous oxide, ketamine, etc.) are provided. Also described are pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treating a central nervous system (CNS) disorder or a psychiatric disease using the combination drug therapy, for example, via aerosol inhalation.
WEARABLE DEVICE
A wearable device includes a housing, a biometric information obtainer that is provided on one surface of the housing and obtains biometric information of a user, a functional material cartridge that is accommodated in the housing and stores a functional material, a mouthpiece connected to the functional material cartridge and configured to discharge the functional material, and a controller that provides a recommendation on inhalation of a functional material based on the biometric information obtained by the biometric information obtainer.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING COFFEE-DERIVED VOLATILES
Devices, systems and methods are provided for delivering coffee-derived volatiles to a user, particularly for the treatment of addiction. The coffee volatiles are selected and delivered by devices and systems which allow for concentrated delivery to the olfactory system of the user in a controlled manner. The olfactory system is the part of the sensory system used for smelling or olfaction. Olfaction of such coffee volatiles in this prescribed fashion stimulates the reward system of the brain such that a specific desired outcome is achieved. In some embodiments, the desired outcome is a reduction in addiction symptoms or curbing of a sensation of addiction withdrawal.
Method and device for monitoring and treating sleep disorders and sleep-related conditions
Methods and apparatus for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating sleep disorders such as sleep terrors are provided, which may include any number of features. One feature is an apparatus configured to partially awaken a user to treat a sleep disorder. The apparatus can include one or more sensors configured to monitor a sleep parameter of the user, one or more therapeutic devices configured to apply a therapy to the user to partially awaken the user, and an electronic controller operatively coupled to the sensors and therapeutic devices to determine when to apply the therapy, and how to apply the therapy so as to only partially awaken the user.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Delivery Through Inhalation
A system for delivery of a material through inhalation includes a delivery cartridge having contained there within a breakable container. The breakable container has there within a payload such as a scent-bearing liquid (e.g. essential oil, perfume, etc.), medicinal liquid, etc. A device for flowing air/gases (e.g., a fan) forces air/gases through the delivery cartridge wherein after the breakable container is broken, the payload mixes with the air/gases for delivery to a user by way of inhalation.
Delivery Cartridge
A delivery cartridge includes a breakable container. The breakable container has there within a payload. End caps hold the breakable container within the delivery cartridge and are air-permeable to enable air/gas to flow-through the delivery cartridge. A cover contains at least a portion of each of the end caps, and the breakable container. The cover is made of a non-porous material to reduce leakage of the payload after the breakable container is broken. In some embodiments, an outer wrapper that is made of paper covers at least a portion of the cover. After the breakable container is broken, the payload is absorbed into or held between the end caps for release into air that flows through the delivery cartridge.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO INDUCE SLEEP AND OTHER CHANGES IN USER STATES
In accordance with an aspect, there is provided a computer system for achieving a target user state by modifying content elements provided to the at least one user. The system includes at least one computing device in communication with at least one bio-signal sensor and at least one user effector, the at least one bio-signal sensor can be configured to measure bio-signals of at least one user, the at least one user effector can be configured to provide content to the at least one user, wherein the content comprises one or more content elements. The at least one computing device can be configured to provide the content to the at least one user via the at least one user effector, compute a difference between the user state of the at least one user before an interval and the target user state using the bio-signals of the at least one user, modify one or more of the content elements provided to the at least one user during the interval based on the difference between the user state of the at least one user before the interval and the target user state, compute a difference between the user state of the at least one user after the interval and the target user state using the bio-signals of the at least one user, modify one or more of the content elements provided to the at least one user after the interval based on the difference between the user state of the at least one user after the interval and the target user state.
AGENT DELIVERY DEVICE, AGENT DELIVERY SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF DELIVERING AN AGENT
The present disclosure provides an agent delivery device (1) for delivery of a therapeutic agent or medicinal agent to an individual. The agent delivery device (1) comprises: a frame (2) having at least one frame member (4) configured to be received and retained or accommodated within a nostril of the individual; and a delivery element (8) provided on and/or carried by the at least one frame member (4) for delivering the agent, the agent preferably being either in a liquid or semi-solid form or contained in a liquid or gel medium. The delivery element (8) is provided on and/or carried by the frame member such that, when the frame member is accommodated in a nostril, the delivery element (8) contacts or engages with an inner surface (e.g., tissue) of the nostril to deliver the agent to the individual, e.g., percutaneously. In this way, the agent delivery device (1) has a delivery element (8) provided on and/or carried by a frame member (4) received and retained or accommodated within a nostril of the individual to deliver the agent in situ there. The disclosure also provides an agent delivery kit, an agent delivery system, and associated methods.
ADAPTIVE DIGITAL THERAPY SYSTEM WITH REAL-TIME EMOTIONAL STATE ANALYSIS AND SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE COMMUNICATION
The present invention relates to a system and method for providing adaptive digital therapy, enhancing the emotional well-being of users through the analysis and translation of expressive and physiological states. Aspects of the invention are directed to identifying the neuroplastic window via user inputs, with or without the aid of psychedelics. This invention is particularly suited for supporting psychoactive therapies involving compounds such as 5-HT2A agonists, dissociatives, and empathogens, as well as applications beyond psychoactive treatments. By utilizing multi-modal deep learning methods, the system captures a wide array of user inputs, including text, speech, vision, symbols, and brain waves, to form a dynamic user representation. This representation is then used to provide real-time, tailored generative communications informed by established psychological therapeutic frameworks. The invention features a closed-loop feedback system through an access module, enabling continuous data relay, patient response metric derivation, and transmission of emotional optimization communications. The system also introduces novel communication methods, including symbolic language input, to articulate complex experiences and extends its capabilities to include natural emotional states, broadening its therapeutic applicability.
