FIELD-HANDABLE GATE LATCH
20190234112 · 2019-08-01 ·

A latch includes a housing that has a first side and a second side. The latch includes a bolt assembly that is positioned at least partially within the housing. The bolt assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to at least one of the first and second sides of the housing. The bolt is biased toward at least one of the extended position and the retracted position, and the bolt is positionable so as to selectively extend from either the first side or the second of the housing in the extended position.

PROGRESSIVE DEADLATCHING FOR DEADBOLTS

A progressive deadlatching arrangement for a deadbolt lock prevents an external force applied on the deadbolt from retracting the deadbolt or otherwise compromising a secured door. The progressive deadlatching arrangement prevents external forces from retracting the deadbolt while still allowing an authorized user to operate the deadbolt.

CATCH MECHANISM FOR A LOCKING DEVICE
20240200362 · 2024-06-20 ·

The present invention relates to a catch mechanism for blocking a bolt to prevent unauthorized opening of a door, the catch mechanism comprising a follower for operating a bolt between a locked state in which the bolt is extended and an unlocked state in which the bolt is retracted; a catch configured to block the follower for preventing movement of the bolt in the locked state, and a control member for operating the follower and the catch,

The invention also relates to a locking device comprising such a catch mechanism.

Electronic lock

An electronic lock defines an open position and a closed position and includes a mobile carriage moveable in a linear manner. The mobile carriage is coupled to a closure element and to an actuation mechanism. A first spring is provided between the mobile carriage and the closure element and is configured to move in relation to the mobile carriage. A lock sensor is provided for controlling the position of the closure element. An electronic control module is connected to the sensor for identifying non-authorized manipulations of the lock when it should be closed. The lock sensor detects when the closure element is in the open position or, if it should be open, the lock sensor does not detect when the closure element is in the open position.

CYLINDRICAL LATCH EXIT DEVICE

A push bar door exit device includes a latch actuation assembly configured to be installed in a door and including a linearly-movable latch retractor; a door latch operatively coupled to the latch retractor so as to be moved from a latched position to an unlatched position by the linear movement of the latch retractor; and a push bar mechanism configured for being mounted on the door and including a linearly-movable push bar operatively coupled to the latch actuation assembly so as to translate a linear motion of the push bar into the linear movement of the latch retractor.

Rocker mechanism for locking door trim

A rose assembly for a door lock in which the rose assembly places the door lock in one of a locked state and an unlocked state. The rose assembly includes a rose moveable with respect to the door. The rose includes a first position, in which the door lock is locked, and a second position, in which the door lock is unlocked. The rose assembly includes a frame which surrounds the rose and in which the rose nests. Pivotal movement of the rose within the frame moves the door lock from the locked state to the unlocked state. The rose pivots at a door lever, and a pivot axis is offset from a centerline of the rose. A larger portion of the rose, defined by the pivot axis, unlocks the door when pressed and a smaller portion of the rose locks the door when pressed.

PET CAGE DOOR

The present invention discloses a novel pet cage door, including a door frame and a switch door capable of rotating relative to the door frame so as to be opened and closed. A locking apparatus is disposed between the switch door and the door frame, and the locking apparatus includes a housing disposed on the switch door. The present invention has a simple structure and requires low costs.

LOCKS FOR STORAGE CONTAINERS AND THE LIKE
20180305955 · 2018-10-25 ·

Locks for storage containers having closures such as doors, covers or lids are disclosed. The lock is mounted to the closure and is latched in such a manner as to selectively prevent opening or removal of the closure. The latch of the lock can engage a slot in the storage container, a bracket on the storage container, or a strike on the storage container. Alternatively, the latch can engage a mounting bracket on the door or other portion of the door to selectively block movement of a handle for the door. Further, the latch can have a locking device which can selectively block movement of the latch. Movement of the locking device can be selectively controlled by a magnetic key.

Locking device for a container

A locking device is provided, preferably for a container. The locking device keeps the lid of the container closed when the container is knocked over on its side, with a sudden jerking or jarring motion, such as by impact with the ground, to prevent spillage of its contents. The locking device, however, allows the lid to open when the waste container is tipped over, preferably in a forward direction, by a dumping operation.
