Keyless puck lock apparatus and system

A keyless puck lock apparatus with wireless communications and power interfaces. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a keyless puck lock system enabling a low cost and high security solution that is difficult to tamper with and defeat. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the system uses a keyless puck lock assembly that includes a hasp assembly and a keyless lock mechanism that does not require any physical mechanical keys so that it does not have a mechanical cylinder inserted therein to lock or unlock the puck lock. Accordingly, the keyless puck lock system in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present invention does not have a physical keyway which is a security attack point that is included in conventional hockey puck-type locks.

Lock system

A lock system for controlling access, for example to a room or building, is disclosed. The lock system comprises a bolt module in which control of the bolt can be configured differently on the two sides of a leaf or door. Control of the bolt module may be provided by various locking modules, which are also disclosed herein. The bolt module is reversible for left handed or right handed operation. In one embodiment the bolt module comprises: a bolt moveable between a thrown position and a retracted position; and a first rotor assembly capable of accepting a drive element, the first rotor assembly arranged to drive the bolt. The bolt module may also comprise a second rotor assembly. The bolt module may comprise an anti-thrust member obstructing driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt. The bolt module may comprise a lockable cover.

An assembly includes a frame and a linear actuator coupled thereto. A link, lever, spring (LLS) subassembly may be coupled to the frame and may include a short link, a long link, a lever, and a spring. A lockbolt subassembly may further be coupled to the frame. The lockbolt subassembly may comprise a latch, a bolt housing, and a lockbolt.

Electronic device base

An electronic device base includes an upper case, a lower case, a base, a first hook component and a second hook component, a solenoid valve assembly, and a near field communication assembly. The upper case has an electronic device accommodation slot; the lower case is assembled to the upper case; the base is disposed between the upper and lower cases; the first and the second hook components are both disposed at the base. When the electronic device is placed into the electronic device accommodation slot, the first and the second hook components are forced by the electronic device to move along a first direction and a second direction, respectively, so the second hook component restricts the first hook component. The near field communication component is capable of communicating with an unlocking component and driving the solenoid valve assembly to actuate the second hook component to release the first hook component.

The invention relates to an electronic lock that defines an open position and a closed position and includes a mobile carriage moveable in a linear manner. The mobile carriage is coupled to a closure element and to an actuation mechanism. A first spring is provided between the mobile carriage and the closure element and is configured to move in relation to the mobile carriage. A lock sensor is provided for controlling the position of the closure element. An electronic control module is connected to the sensor for identifying non-authorised manipulations of the lock when it should be closed. The lock sensor detects when the closure element is in the open position or, if it should be open, the lock sensor does not detect when the closure element is in the open position.

LOCKING DEVICE

A locking device including: a locking pin movable in a linear direction; a tappet movable in the linear direction; and a clamping device connecting the tappet to the locking pin. Wherein the clamping device having an inner spring and an outer spring arranged coaxially relative to each other in the linear direction, and the inner spring is at least partially surrounded by the outer spring in a radial direction orthogonal to the linear direction.

A rim strike assembly includes a strike body, strike jaw, retaining clutch, locking cam, locking clutch, and a solenoid. The strike jaw, retaining clutch, locking cam, and locking clutch are pivotably coupled to the strike body. The strike body and strike jaw define a latch cavity to receive a latch of a door. The strike jaw includes a jaw follower. The strike jaw is pivotable between a release position and a closed position. The retaining clutch engages the jaw follower and includes a retaining follower. The locking cam includes a retaining notch and a locking notch. The retaining follower engages the retaining notch. The locking clutch includes a locking follower that engages the locking notch of the locking cam. The solenoid includes a plunger coupled to the locking clutch such that movement of the plunger rotates the locking clutch from a locked position to an unlocked position.

A bracket mounting device for protecting a solenoid. The mounting bracket device secures the solenoid in place. The bracket mounting device is configured to reinforce the linear plunger-type solenoid increasing stability and strength. The solenoid is encapsulated by the bracket mounting device. A solenoid case bracket that cover the solenoid extends from a pair of base flanges that are used to attach the bracket mounting device to the solenoid and a surface to which the solenoid is attached. A plurality of reinforcing elements provide additional strength to a connection between the solenoid case bracket and the pair of base flanges. The mounting bracket device protects the solenoid from external pressure damage and holds the solenoid in place.
