ELECTRONIC DEVICE, METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR PROVIDING AUDITORY FEEDBACK FOR SLEEP INDUCTION
According to one embodiment, a method for providing a sound for sleep induction may include an operation of providing a first sound corresponding to a first user activity based on detecting the first user activity associated with user cognition regarding a period for inhalation of the user's breathing. The first user activity may be a user activity independent of the inhalation rather than a user activity caused by the inhalation of the breathing, and a start time point of providing the first sound may be substantially synchronized with a detection time point of the first user activity. The method may include an operation of providing a second sound corresponding to a second user activity based on detecting the second user activity associated with user cognition regarding a period for exhalation of the user's breathing. The second user activity may be a user activity independent of the exhalation rather than a user activity caused by the exhalation of the breathing, and a start time point of providing the second sound may be substantially synchronized with a detection time point of the second user activity.
BREATHING COACH APPLICATION ON SMART WATCH
A breathing coach system and method is disclosed comprising a biometric device capable of measuring one or more biometric measurements of a user; an application executed on a processor on a wearable device monitoring said one or more biometric measurements coupled to said biometric device and notifying the user to perform a recommended breathing pattern to effect said one or more biometric measurement when one or more of said one or more biometric measurements is within a predetermined region.
BREATHING SEQUENCE USER INTERFACE
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for breathing sequences. In some examples, a device displays a configuration user interface that comprises a prompt to select a number of cycles of a breathing sequence, adjusts the number of cycles of the breathing sequence to the selected number of cycles in response to selection, and initiates a breathing phase of the breathing sequence. In some examples, the device displays and fluctuates a progress indicator in accordance with the selected number of cycles. In some examples, a device detects a time associated with a first breathing sequence, generates a prompting criteria based on a predetermined prompting frequency and the detected time, determines if the prompting criteria has been met, displays a prompt to initiate a second breathing sequence, wherein the prompt comprises a first affordance, and displays a second breathing sequence user interface in response to selection of the first affordance.
A RESPIRATION GUIDANCE DEVICE
Various example embodiments relate to a respiration guidance device including: an outer casing configured to change shape; and a drive unit located within the outer casing and configured to change the shape of the outer casing according to a desired breathing pattern; and the outer casing has at least one slit dividing the outer casing into at least one portion displaceable with respect to a remaining portion of the outer casing; and the drive unit is configured to change the shape of the outer casing by displacing the at least one portion.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH PRE-CODED SUBROUTINES FOR A VEHICLE
A communication system for a vehicle includes an assistance mode for communication between a user of the vehicle and a remote assistance unit. The assistance mode is activable during a concerning situation. The assistance mode includes multiple pre-coded subroutines selectively executable to provide audio instruction and video instruction to the user, via a display in the vehicle. The multiple pre-coded subroutines are triggered by the remote assistance unit. Operating the assistance mode includes relaying of selected data from the vehicle to the remote assistance unit. The selected data includes actions performed by the user. The assistance mode is activable by at least one of the remote assistance unit, the user via the user interface, and the vehicle. The communication system may include a controller adapted to at least partially execute the assistance mode.
DYNAMIC TARGET RATE FOR GUIDED BREATHING
Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for dynamically adjusting a breathing entrainment based on whether a user is stressing or relaxing. According to an aspect, a first target breathing period is selected, and a guiding stimulus configured to alter a current breathing period of the user towards the first target breathing period over an interval of time is output. One or more relaxation biometrics are measured and analyzed to determine whether the user is stressing or relaxing. Based on whether the user is relaxing or stressing, at least one of the guided stimulus and the first target breathing period are adjusted, where the first target breathing period is adjusted to a second target breathing period different from the first target breathing period. By making adjustments based on whether a user is relaxing or stressing, the breathing entrainment is more effective and comfortable for users.
System and method for entraining the breathing of a subject
A respiration appliance (10) is configured to entrain the breathing of the subject. The breathing of the subject is entrained to modulate the autonomic nervous system of the subject to decrease sympathetic nerve activity and/or to reduce sympathetic/parasympathetic balance in order to provide relaxation to the subject. The respiration appliance (10) restricts the exhalation of the subject, while permitting substantially unencumbered inhalation, to impact the breathing of the subject in a manner that enhances relaxation.
System and Method for Inducing Respiration
A system for inducing respiration according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an imaging unit for picking a respiration image of a patient; a respiration signal conversion unit for obtaining a respiration signal of the patient by image processing, and tracking and analyzing the respiration image of the patient obtained from the imaging unit; and a respiration determination unit for determining one or more of whether the obtained respiration signal is suitable for radiation treatment, whether the obtained respiration signal is stable, and whether a matching score between the respiration signal of the patient and a guide respiration is greater than a predetermined reference value; and a respiration guide unit for providing the respiration signal of the patient, obtained from the respiration signal conversion unit, together with a stored guide signal.
DEVICE TO PREVENT APNEA EPISODES IN INFANTS
Device (1) for preventing apnea episodes in infants, which simulates a breathing pattern suitable for synchronizing the infant's breathing and which is provided as a tactile direct stimulus, arranged in contact with the infant's back while sleeping; it comprises a breathing pattern generator means (2) that emits air pulses that reach the infant through transmitter means comprising a flexible conduit (3) that transports the air to an inflatable/deflatable chamber (4).
System for inducing a subject to fall to sleep
An assistance system for visually handicapped persons with visual impairment in a part of their visual field includes body-worn sensors to inform them actively about objects or movements in the visually impaired sides.
