A ball-latch mechanism comprising a plunger supported in a housing and linearly movable from a loaded to an extended position, a trigger rotatable from a latched position, which interferes with linear movement of the plunger, to an unlatched position, which permits linear movement of the plunger from the loaded position, a bias element biasing the plunger from the loaded position, a cocking mechanism comprising a lever arm rotatable about a lever axis from a retracted position within the housing, wherein a bearing surface of the lever arm is outside of a range of motion of the plunger, and a cocked position, wherein the bearing surface of the lever arm bears against the plunger and the plunger is in the loaded position, whereby the plunger may be forced to the loaded position by the lever arm by application of torque to a torque receiving surface of the lever arm.

DIGITAL LOCK

A locking system is described. The locking system, includes a lock. The lock includes a semi-hard magnet and a hard magnet. The hard magnet is configured to move to open or close the lock, the lock is self-powered using near field communication (NFC), and the lock is digitally controlled using a mobile application.

Puller tool

A puller assembly for use with a lock device is disclosed. The lock device may have an interchangeable core. The puller assembly includes a puller core body having an opening sized to receive at least a portion of an operator actuation assembly of the lock device, a first engagement surface positioned to engage a portion of a rear end of the operator actuation assembly of the lock device, a second engagement surface positioned to engage a portion of a front end of a core assembly of the lock device, and an actuator which is moveable to alter a separation between the first engagement surface and the second engagement surface.

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL LOCK CORE

An interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core for use with a lock device having a locked state and an unlocked state is disclosed. The interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core may include a moveable plug having a first position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the locked state and a second position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the unlocked state. The interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core may include a core keeper moveably coupled to a lock core body. The core keeper may be positionable in a retain position wherein the core keeper extends beyond an envelope of lock core body to hold the lock core body in an opening of the lock device and a remove position wherein the core keeper is retracted relative to retain position to permit removal.

Electric latch mechanism

An exemplary latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt, a locking sleeve, and a roller engaged between the latchbolt and the locking sleeve. The latchbolt is configured to drive the roller from a first position to a second position as the latchbolt moves from a projected position to a depressed position. The locking sleeve includes a blocking surface and a recessed portion. When the blocking surface is aligned with the roller, the locking sleeve retains the roller in the first position, thereby retaining the latchbolt in the projected position. When the recessed portion is aligned with the roller, the locking sleeve permits movement of the roller from the first position to the second position, thereby enabling depression of the latchbolt.

Lock

A lock, in particular for a two-wheeler, comprises: a lock body; a hoop that is movable between an open position and a closed position; a latch that is movably supported at the lock body between a locked position in which it blocks the hoop in its closed position against a departure from the closed position and an unlocked position in which it releases the hoop; a sensor for detecting the latch position; and a movably supported lever. A coupling section of the lever is movement-coupled to the latch here. In addition, the lever is supported such that on a movement of the coupling section, a deflection section spaced apart from the coupling section carries out a movement that is greater in comparison therewith, with the sensor detecting the position of the deflection section of the lever to detect the latch position.

SMART CONTAINER CAP WITH DIGITAL ACCESS AUTHENTICATION

What is provided is a smart container cap device that can be unlocked remotely by a second device such as a smartphone or computer. The smart cap is sized and shaped to adhere to a standardized container lid sizing convention, such that the smart cap may be swapped for and replace a conventional container cap. The cap may also include sensors for detecting poor storage conditions (such as moisture or humidity) or tampering, or for a secondary means of granting access such as a biometric scan.

DIGITAL LOCK
