The article of furniture includes at least one panel defining an implement-receiving cavity. The two or more implements are slidably-disposed within the implement-receiving cavity of the article of furniture. The implement interlock system includes: two or more cable guides attached to the at least one panel; a cable engagement device attached to each implement of the two or more implements; and a cable tensioning device, including a cable, attached to the at least one panel. A portion of a length of the cable extends through the two or more cable guides and is selectively-hooked by the cable engagement device attached to each implement of the two or more implements. An implement interlock system and a cable guide also are disclosed.

DRAWER INTERLOCK SYSTEMS FOR FURNITURE

A drawer locking system includes a support strap, a lock plate, and a lock hook. The lock plate is configured to mount to a locking rail of a piece of furniture. A lock hook is pivotally mounted to the lock plate and includes a body that has a first end portion and a second end portion. The lock hook has a locked configuration in which the first end portion is configured to engage a drawer to prevent the drawer from moving from a closed position towards an open position thereof. The lock hook has an unlocked configuration in which the first end portion is configured to disengage the drawer to allow the drawer to move from the closed position towards the open position. The second end portion is engaged with the support strap such that the support strap pivots the lock hook from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration.

DRAWER INTERLOCK SYSTEMS FOR FURNITURE

A drawer locking system includes a support strap, a lock plate, and a lock hook. The lock plate is configured to mount to a locking rail of a piece of furniture. A lock hook is pivotally mounted to the lock plate and includes a body that has a first end portion and a second end portion. The lock hook has a locked configuration in which the first end portion is configured to engage a drawer to prevent the drawer from moving from a closed position towards an open position thereof. The lock hook has an unlocked configuration in which the first end portion is configured to disengage the drawer to allow the drawer to move from the closed position towards the open position. The second end portion is engaged with the support strap such that the support strap pivots the lock hook from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration.

CABLE INTERLOCK SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS

A cable interlock system is used to regulate extension of a plurality of drawers in a furniture to prevent tipping over. The cable interlock system includes a cable coupled to the plurality of drawers and a furniture body with an amount of slack to prevent over extension of the plurality of drawers. One or more furniture threading points is disposed on the furniture body with the cable extending therethrough. A first anchor point is disposed on one of the furniture body or one of the plurality of drawers. A cable first end of the cable is coupled to the first anchor point.
