Provide a door latch apparatus with a childproof lock mechanism that is only a projecting portion of the childproof lock mechanism is movable in the release direction interlocked with an opening operation of an inside lever, so that the degree of freedom of arrangement and design of several kinds of parts assembled in a housing can be increased. A release actuating member is supported movably in an elongated guide hole of a childproof lever from a standby position to a release position. When the childproof lever is in a childproof unlocking position and when an inside lever is carried out the opening operation, a projecting portion contacts to the inside lever and moves in the opening direction, so that the release actuating member moves to the release position against a biasing unit.

A door locking device includes a latching mechanism configured to detachably lock a striker fixed to a vehicle body, an inner lever capable of rotating for releasing locking of the striker by the latching mechanism; and a child lever capable of rotating between an unlocked position where the inner lever is contactable with the child lever and a locked position where the inner lever is uncontactable with the child lever. The child lever is configured to transmit a rotational force of the inner lever to the latching mechanism by being rotated due to contacting of the inner lever with the child lever at the unlocked position.

A door lock apparatus includes an inside lever, an opening member for switching a latch mechanism to an unlatching state by a rotation of the inside lever, a child lever translated between set and unset positions; and a bush translated together with the child lever. The bush engages with the inside lever and transmits the rotation of the inside lever to the opening member when the child lever is disposed in the unset position and is released from the engagement with the inside lever when the child lever is disposed in the set position. A movable range of the child lever and the bush is confined inside a circle centered at a rotation shaft of the inside lever and whose radius corresponds to a distance from the rotation shaft to a farthest point of the inside lever.

A motor vehicle door lock device includes an engagement mechanism that engages with a striker to hold the door closed; a positioned outside a vehicle; a locking mechanism that turns an unlock state for enabling the engagement mechanism to be released based on a door-opening action of the outside handle with a locking motor as a drive source and a lock state for making releasing impossible, a control that enables an operation of the switches when an external transmitter is authenticated and cancels it when it is not authenticated; and an electric release mechanism that can release the engagement mechanism regardless of a state of the locking mechanism by releasing a releasing motor as a drive source.

A door latch device having a motor cover for covering a motor and connection parts thereof, wherein the motor cover in a size for covering the motor from a vehicle interior side is formed to a switch member housed in a casing, connection parts of the motor are respectively connected to conductive members of the switch member on a vehicle-exterior-side side face of the motor cover, and the motor 44 and the connection parts thereof are covered with the motor cover.

A motor vehicle door latch device comprises an engagement unit that can engage with a striker and an operating unit attached to the engagement unit. The operating unit comprises an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism comprises a locking motor; a locking mechanism comprising mechanical elements that can be shifted to an unlock state and a lock state based on drive of the locking motor; an electric release motor for releasing the opening lever regardless of a state of the locking mechanism based on drive of the releasing motor; and an inside lever that is pivotally mounted, via a first shaft, for pivotally mounting the electric release lever to a housing and is rotated based on a door opening action of the internal mechanical elements thereby releasing the opening lever, when the locking mechanism is in an unlock state.

The subject matter of the present invention is a motor-vehicle door lock which is equipped with a locking mechanism, further with an opening drive (3, 4) which acts on the locking mechanism, and also with an operating lever mechanism (6, 7). At least one sensor (8) for checking an operator opening request is further provided. Finally, a safety device (9, 10, 11), which prevents the locking mechanism (3, 4) from opening at least in its safe position, is provided. The invention makes provision for an intermediate lever (7) of the operating lever mechanism (6, 7), which intermediate lever mechanically converts the operator opening request, to selectively act on or not act on the sensor (8) which actuates the opening drive (3, 4), depending on the position of the safety device (9, 10, 11).

A vehicle door opening and closing apparatus includes: an input lever configured to rotate when door opening operation is performed on an inside door handle arranged inside a vehicle; and an output lever rotatably arranged on a base plate. By transmission of rotation of the input lever to the output lever when the input lever rotates along with the door opening operation on the inside door handle, a latch unit provided between a vehicle body and a door performs release operation to allow opening movement of the door with respect to the vehicle body. A sub plate is arranged on the base plate in a form of covering the baseplate, an input support shaft for supporting the inside door handle is rotatably arranged on the sub plate, and the input lever is arranged on the input support shaft so as to integrally rotate with the input support shaft.

In a vehicle door latch device, a latch engages with a striker of a vehicle body and a ratchet engages with the latch, so that a vehicle door is closed, and an inside operating lever and a childproof lock mechanism are disposed between a cover and a casing. To connect the childproof lock mechanism to the casing, the inside operating lever is held in an assembling position and the childproof lock mechanism is held in its locking state or in its unlocking state. The cover has a covering portion over a broader portion of a hole in the cover.
