Locks for storage containers and the like

Locks for storage containers having closures such as doors, covers or lids are disclosed. The lock is mounted to the closure and is latched in such a manner as to selectively prevent opening or removal of the closure. The latch of the lock can engage a slot in the storage container, a bracket on the storage container, or a strike on the storage container. Alternatively, the latch can engage a mounting bracket on the door or other portion of the door to selectively block movement of a handle for the door. Further, the latch can have a locking device which can selectively block movement of the latch. Movement of the locking device can be selectively controlled by a magnetic key.

A lock assembly has an actuator that is moveable between first and second positions and a locking structure that is coupled to the actuator. The locking structure is positioned to engage a portion of a lock when the actuator is in the first position to prevent movement of the actuator to the second position. A latch assembly is preferably coupled to the actuator and includes a latch that is moveable between engaged and disengaged positions. Moving the actuator from the first position to the second position moves the latch to the engaged position, and moving the actuator from the first position to a third position moves the latch to a disengaged position.

LOCKING MECHANISM

Locking mechanisms are designed to retain gates or other passageways in a locked and an unlocked position as a way to pass through a gate in a barrier or boundary, such as a fence, that encloses a space. A rotatable locking arm is attached to the gate while its neighboring fence section has a catch secured to it. When the locking arm is radially rotated to a secured, locked position, it is retained in an enclosed channel of the catch. Any ground heave or movement that shifts the gate with the locking arm relative to the neighboring fence section with the catch will allow the locking arm to move within the enclosed channel while retaining the locking arm in a locked position, which keeps the gate closed and the enclosed space secured.

LOCKER DIAL LOCK

The present invention relates to a locker dial lock, and more specifically has been made to enhance convenience of use by rotating a knob for operating a locking lever of a dial lock to a reset position not to a locking or opening position, and then identifying or resetting a combination of dials so as to simply change and reset the combination. The configuration of the present invention is a dial lock 1 configured such that a main body 3 including a key cylinder bundle 10 and a dial bundle 20 is installed at a front surface of a door of a locker, and when a plurality of dials 24 exposed to the outside of a cover 2 at a front surface of the main body 3 are rotated to match a set combination, the key cylinder bundle 1 is released and a door is opened by rotating a locking lever 4 at a back surface of the door along with a knob 11, and when the combination is forgotten, the knob 11 is rotated using a master key to press an operating rod 21 of the dial bundle 20, thereby allowing detection holes 23 provided on one side of connecting rod bodies 22 respectively fitted into and coupled to the plurality of dials 24 to be exposed, and the detection pins 55 of a detection means 30 that are provided on one side of the connecting rod bodies 22 are inserted into the detection holes 23 to determine a combination of the dials 24, wherein the detection means 30 includes: a manipulation member 40 having a push protrusion 41 at an upper portion thereof, including a return spring 42 at a lower portion thereof, and provided with a plurality of manipulation uneven portions 43 on one side thereof, wherein the push protrusion 41 is pressed by a pressing cam part 13 further included in the key cylinder bundle 10, thus allowing the manipulation member 40 to be slidably moved upward or downward; and a detection member 50 positioned on one side of the manipulation member 40 and rotatably assembled to the main body 3 about a hinge pin 51, provided with detection uneven portions 53 on one side thereof to correspond to the plurality of manipulation uneven portions 43 about the hinge pin 51, and including the detection pins 55 provided on another side thereof and inserted into the detection holes 23 of the connecting rod bodies 22, wherein, when the combination is forgotten, the knob 11 is rotated to a setting position using a master key to allow the key cylinder bundle 10 to press the operating r

Locking device

The present invention relates to a locking apparatus for introduction into a recess of a device to be locked, wherein the locking apparatus has an actuating pin and a bolt part which is rotationally fixedly connectable to the actuating pin and which can be locked and/or unlocked by rotating the actuating pin, wherein the bolt part can be fastened to the named actuating pin in different positions. The invention further relates to the use of such a locking apparatus as a transport lock of a carcass part to be locked such as a device housing door of a security-sensitive gambling device, betting device and/or entertainment device. In accordance with the invention, the actuating pin and the bolt part have releasable latching means having a plurality of latching positions for latching the bolt part to the actuating pin in a plurality of axial positions. The latching means in this respect comprise latch contours which engage into one another in a shape-matched manner, which can be pushed beyond one another in the longitudinal direction of the actuating pin with elastic deformation and which can latch into one another transversely to the longitudinal direction of the actuating pin by elastic recoil so that the bolt part is held axially at the actuating pin in the respective latching position.
