CASE WITH DEVICE FOR TOOL FREE UNLOCKING ACCESS
A container case with locking device which allows tool-free unlocking and access includes a top cover having a latching protrusion, a base with sliding top cover, and a handle assembly fixed on the base. The handle assembly includes a resilient catch plate and a handle portion having an operating portion and an elastic arm. When the operating portion is forced by a thumb or finger, the latching protrusion is released from the elastic arm and the handle portion, and the top cover can slide free. When top cover is replaced, the latching protrusion slides and forces back the catch plate until the latching protrusion is again latched by the catch plate and the handle portion. The handle assembly is on the side plate of the base, operators need to use only one thumb or finger to open the top cover.
DOOR LATCH ACTIVATOR FOR TRAILERS OR TRUCK BODIES
A door latch activator system for a trailer or truck body coupled to a door latch, including: a plunger installed in a path of the door latch; a switch configurable into one of an open or closed position by the plunger; and a pneumatic valve configured to control flow of pressurized air through the pneumatic valve depending on the position of the switch, wherein the plunger is moved toward or away from the roller switch by the door latch operating in the path, which activates the pneumatic valve to control the pressurized air flowing through the pneumatic valve.
DOORWAY ENTRY PREVENTION DEVICE
The present invention is a system and method for quickly securing a door to a door frame to protect the occupants of a room from an intruder while still allowing a user to open the door from within the secured room with a minimum of movements and time in the event of a dangerous situation in the room such as fire or other hazards. Embodiments of the invention are equally applicable to doors that open inwardly and outwardly relative to an area to be secured.
GALLEY COMPARTMENT RETENTION ASSEMBLY
A vehicle galley compartment retention assembly, a retaining handle assembly, and mounting block. The handle assembly having a shaft comprising a first shaft detent feature, and a retaining handle. The retaining handle being fixed relative to the shaft such that the shaft rotates when the retaining handle is rotated. The mounting block having a cavity, and a cavity detent feature on the inner surface of the cavity. The shaft being configured to be inserted into the cavity, and to be rotatable within the cavity, and the shaft detent feature and the cavity detent feature interacting with each other to hold the retaining handle in a first angular position when rotationally aligned. This arrangement moves part of the complex detent mechanism away from the retaining handle.
Keeper apparatus to maintain gate in plane with frame
A keeper apparatus engaged to the lower free end swinging corner portion of a gate, not to either of the upper and lower corner portions having the axis on which the gate swings, and not to the upper free end swinging corner portion where the gate has a main latch. The keeper apparatus joins the shortened ends of a horizontal gate support member and a vertical gate support member where, prior to engaging the keeper apparatus on the shortened ends, such intentionally manufactured shortened ends are free and spaced from each other.
Security Gate
A security gate including an outer gate and an inner gate for selective passage of people and/or pets therethrough. In one example, the security gate includes: an outer frame; an outer gate at least partially disposed within the outer frame; an inner gate disposed within the outer gate, the inner gate comprising an inner frame having at least one recess; a door at least partially disposed within the inner frame; and at least one projection extending from the outer gate and engaging the at least one recess for supporting the inner gate within the outer gate.
LEAK CONTAINMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A leak containment system includes a mounting bracket, a tray, and a locking mechanism. The mounting bracket has a first rail, a second rail, and a panel extending between the first rails and the second rail. The panel is vertically offset from feet formed on the first rail, and a channel is defined by at least the first rail and an underside of the panel. The tray is removably received within the channel. The tray includes a bottom surface surrounded by perimeter walls that together define a fluid container. The perimeter walls include a front perimeter wall that extends upwardly above the other walls. The locking mechanism is coupled to the mounting bracket and is configured to selectively engage the front perimeter wall of the tray to restrict movement of the tray outward from the channel.
