Door locking mechanism

A locking system for an enclosure, including a control bracket mounted to a door of the enclosure and configured to slide in a longitudinal direction along a guide rod running through a pin bracket of the control bracket. The control bracket further includes a latching pin to secure the door of the enclosure. A handle mechanism has a push rod that causes the control bracket to slide along the longitudinal direction, also causing the latching pin to move into a position that secures the door.

A system including a barrier implement, a barrier implement frame, wherein the barrier implement frame is configured to engage said barrier implement, a bolt lock, wherein the bolt lock is configured to secure the barrier implement frame to the barrier implement in a lock position, a central locking and/or release knob, a cable or rod, wherein the cable or rod is configured to interconnect the central locking and/or release knob and the bolt lock, and wherein the central locking and/or release knob is configured to release said bolt lock by pulling in the cable or rod to move the bolt lock out of the lock position.

MULTIPOINT LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR A SWINGING DOOR PANEL
20240410200 · 2024-12-12 ·

A multipoint lock assembly for a swinging door panel includes a mortise housing that is installed in a mortise along the non-hinged edge of the door panel. A latch operating mechanism and a lock operating mechanism are disposed in the mortise housing. Each of these mechanisms is designed to be operated with a standard rotary operator such as a handle or knob for the latch operating mechanism and a key and/or thumb turn for the lock operating mechanism. The latch operating mechanism is transitionable between left- and right-hand orientations and includes a deadlatch feature that prevents forced back-drive. Turning the key and or thumb turn of the lock operating mechanism extends a deadbolt and extends upper and lower shoot bolts from edges of the door. When extended, the shoot bolts also are secured against forced back-drive by unique mechanism configurations.

CLOSING DEVICE FOR CLOSING DOOR-LEAFS OF DOORS OR WINDOWS

A closing device for closing door-leafs of doors or windows is disclosed which has a plate or rod body, associated with the frame which delimits a door-leaf and which is connectable to maneuvering means, and a closing member, which is fixed to the plate or rod body and adapted to be coupled with a corresponding abutment body fixable to the fixed framework of the door or window or to the frame which delimits another door-leaf of the door or window. The closing member has a shank which is fixable to the plate or rod body and a stud body which is coupled to the shank through coupling means which allow adjusting the position of the stud body along the longitudinal axis of the shank, wherein the stud body is adapted to be coupled with a corresponding seat in the abutment body.

Automatically-extending remote door lock bolts

A remote lock assembly includes a housing and a bolt adapted for sliding linear movement within the housing between an extended position and a retracted position. A latch disposed within the housing is adapted to releasably hold the bolt in the retracted position. A trigger disengages the latch from the bolt when contacting the latch. The trigger is biased into a position extending out from the housing. A spring biases the bolt into the extended position.

Safety cabinet with interlock mechanism

A safety cabinet is disclosed which includes an enclosure having a double-wall construction and at least one door to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet includes a latch system for selectively retaining the door(s) in a closed position to cover the enclosure. The safety cabinet can be used to store, for example, flammable liquids, flammable waste, corrosives, pesticides, or combustible waste. The latch system includes fusible links that fuse when exposed to high ambient temperatures and cause the latch system to further engage the enclosure, thereby promoting the interlocking relationship between the door(s) and the enclosure when the safety cabinet is exposed to threshold high ambient temperatures.

LOCKING BOLT WITH SURFACE-MOUNTED TRANSMISSION

An apparatus has an actuator housing with a transmission side that defines a transmission slot. A slider is disposed in the actuator housing and has first and second ends which define a post receiver. The slider is movable between a first and second position. The post receiver is aligned with the slot when the slider is in the first position and the second position. A lever pivotably connected to the actuator housing is configured to move the slider from the first position to the second position. The transmission has an elongate element with a first and second end which is disposed outside the actuator housing and substantially parallel to and proximate the transmission side. A post extends from the first end and is received in the post receiver. A locking element is disposed proximate the second end of the first elongate element and is configured to receive the second end.

Flex drive tie-bar window lock system

A tie bar fabricate from extruded or formed polymer material available in bulk rolls, and methods of fabrication for a tie bar assembly. The tie bar is custom cut from the bulk material to any desired length at a window assembly line, and is cut with saddles and apertures that match the locations of window locking points and drive locations to conform with window designs on the fly. Standard locking points and drive pins are fitted onto the tie bar in locations as needed to fit particular configurations, and are slidable in standard c-shaped channels. The polymer material used for the tie bar is flexible and resilient, thereby lending itself to use for rounded window designs, without having any specific preformed length, locking point location, or shape.
