Straight action flush lock for casement window and method of operating the same
A low profile actuating window lock for casement windows having a longitudinal slot in a sidewall of the casing for the lock, wherein an actuator including a fork component translates within the slot in a direction opposite movement of the handle, the handle pivotable about a restrictor arm that pivots relative to the casing, allowing the handle to rotate from the locked position to the unlocked position with low clearance from the window frame. The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.
VEHICLE HOOD LOCKING MECHANISM
A vehicle hood locking mechanism includes a locking member including a helical portion structured to be insertable into a cavity formed in a vehicle hood. The helical portion is structured to be rotatable with respect to the hood so that contact between the hood and the helical portion during insertion of the helical portion into the cavity causes a rotation of the helical portion from a first rotational position to a second rotational position different from the first rotational position. The locking mechanism is also structured so that the helical portion is rotatable from the second rotational position back to the first rotational position when the helical portion becomes positioned inside the cavity.
Hood Prop
A hood prop attaches to right and left side hoods and engages a receptacle plate attached to a fire wall. The hood prop includes a mounting plate attached to hood latch fasteners at a bottom rear position of each side hood. A mounting plate end of a prop arm is pivotally attached by a friction fit. The friction fit allows the arm to pivot on the rod but retain a position to reduce or eliminate any rattles. The arm includes at least one bend to align a firewall end of the prop arm with a receptacle reaching out from the receptacle plate.
Side action flush lock for casement window and method of operating the same
A low profile actuating window lock for casement windows having a longitudinal slot in a sidewall of the casing for the lock, wherein a fork component translates within the slot in a direction perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the handle and the handle rotates along a plane perpendicular to the fork component, the handle pivotable about a restrictor arm that pivots relative to the casing, allowing the handle to rotate fully from the locked position to the unlocked position with low clearance from the window frame. The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.
STOWABLE VEHICLE DOOR SECURING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
Disclosed is an apparatus for maintaining a position of a vehicle door relative to a vehicle frame may include a link and a fastener. The link may have a first end and a second end. The first end may have a loop and the first end may be at an opposite end of the link from the second end. The fastener may be on a surface of the link and may be configured to fasten the link to the vehicle frame. A hook may be on the second end. The loop may be an arc or an incomplete circular portion. The vehicle may be a rotorcraft vehicle.

VEHICLE HOOD STAY SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A vehicle hood stay support structure for supporting a hood stay includes a stay coupling member, an annular member, and a holding member. The stay coupling member is coupled with a base end part of the hood stay. The stay coupling member is configured to turn together with the hood stay about a second axis orthogonal to a first axis. On the inner circumference side of the annular member, the stay coupling member is disposed to be capable of turning about the second axis. The annular member turns, within a predetermined range, about a third axis orthogonal to the first axis and the second axis. On the inner circumference side of the holding member, the annular member is disposed to be capable of turning about the third axis. The holding member is fixed to a vehicle body component of the vehicle while being capable of rotating about the first axis.
