TAMPER RESISTANT SASH OPENING LIMITER FOR CASEMENT AND AWNING WINDOWS
A sash limiter assembly for limiting the distance a casement window can be opened. In a jamb mounted version, the limiter is mounted in one constant location on the jamb rather than multiple locations on the sill which results in the opening distance being essentially the same for all window widths and all hinge types. In both the jamb mounted version and a sill mounted version, a hexalobular or other security screw can be used to retain a limiting arm to a stud attached to a bracket, or a stud attached to a slider which slides on a track to inhibit unauthorized removal of the limiter arm.

Door Gap Lock
A door gap lock includes a door leaf part that is configured to be arranged on a door leaf and that has an axially slidably mounted locking bolt, and includes a frame part that is configured to be arranged on a door frame and has a rotatably mounted pivot lever, where the locking bolt can be slid into a guide on the pivot lever and, during a relative movement between the door leaf part and the frame part, the locking bolt is guided in a form-fitting manner in the guide so as to be slidable therein over a defined distance, and where the guide when arranged in the pivot lever has a predetermined breaking point at which the locking bolt breaks through the guide when a defined force is applied to the locking bolt.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a lower unit including a recording unit that performs recording on a medium, and an upper unit including a reading unit that reads a document image, the upper unit being disposed above the lower unit and being configured to open and close with respect to the lower unit. The upper unit includes an arm that maintains an open state of the upper unit by being supported by the lower unit. The lower unit has a cam groove that receives a protrusion disposed on the arm and that has a route along which the protrusion moves in a certain direction when the upper unit opens or closes. A recess that the protrusion enters and that supports the protrusion from below is disposed in the cam groove and the open state of the upper unit is maintained by the protrusion entering the recess.

GUARD FOR A LATCH TO PREVENT OPENING
A door latch locking guard 30 is provided for maintaining a door in a locked position. A door latch 10 has an existing stationary latch arm 12 and the door jam has an existing swinging arm 14 for engaging the latch arm 12 to lock the door. The present invention provides a protective locking guard 30 having a notch 38 formed therein for placing over the stationary latch arm 12, and the protective locking guard 30 also has a plate 32 for moving the existing swinging arm 14 over the plate 32. A locking clasp 40 is provided for inserting through an opening 36 in plate 32 in order to prevent the door latch 12 from being opened from the opposite side of the door.
Display case door
A display case including a frame with a first fastener, a door with a second fastener, and a bracket coupling the door to the frame is described. The bracket has a first end coupled a second end. The first end is pivotably coupled to the frame by the first fastener. The first end includes a first pair of spring arms having a first slot to couple to the first fastener and to allow the door to pivot between open and closed positions. The second end is slideably coupled to the door by the second fastener. The second end has detents on a second pair of spring arms and a second slot to allow the second fastener of the door to slide as the door is pivoted between open and closed positions. A first detent is positioned further from the first end of the bracket than a second detent.
Catch Arm for a Door Locker Unit, Door Locker Unit with Catch Arm, Vehicle Door with Door Locker Unit and Vehicle with Vehicle Side Doors with Door Locker Unit
In the case of a catch arm for a door locker unit, in particular of a vehicle door, with at least one elongated body with at least one catch arm head, arranged at its first end, as an end stop element and at least one opening, arranged at its second end, for articulated pivoting with respect to a bearing on which the catch arm is mounted, the catch arm is formed at least partially from at least one fibre-reinforced plastics material, wherein continuous fibres are provided as fibres of the fibre-reinforced plastics material and at least one thermoplastic material is provided as a matrix material of the at least one fibre-reinforced plastics material and the fibres are arranged as an insert in at least one overmoulding material of the catch arm in the form of at least one thermoplastic prepreg, and wherein layers of fibres in the prepreg comprise two or three-dimensional textile reinforcing composite within the thermoplastic matrix material.
