MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING DOOR CHECK MECHANISM
This disclosure relates to a motor vehicle having a door check mechanism. An example motor vehicle a pivotable door, a door check mechanism including a bar, wherein the door check mechanism is configured to hold the door open in a fully open check position, and a retarder assembly configured to oppose opening of the door beyond the fully open check position by applying a force generated by a non-linear surface of the bar.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a lower unit including a recording unit that performs recording on a medium, and an upper unit including a reading unit that reads a document image, the upper unit being disposed above the lower unit and being configured to open and close with respect to the lower unit. The upper unit includes an arm that maintains an open state of the upper unit by being supported by the lower unit. The lower unit has a cam groove that receives a protrusion disposed on the arm and that has a route along which the protrusion moves in a certain direction when the upper unit opens or closes. A recess that the protrusion enters and that supports the protrusion from below is disposed in the cam groove and the open state of the upper unit is maintained by the protrusion entering the recess.
ROOF SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ENCLOSURE
A roof support system includes a support member configured to be mounted between a roof panel and a frame of an enclosure. The support member is movable to an extended position that supports the roof panel in an open position. A cam lock mechanism is operatively connected to the support member for releasably locking the support member in the extended position. In the extended position, a pin of the support member is received within a slot of the cam lock mechanism such that engagement of the pin with a closed end of the slot prevents the support member from moving from the extended position toward a retracted position. The cam lock mechanism includes a cam configured to rotate to a locking position that at least partially blocks an open end of the slot such that the pin of the support member is prevented from backing out of the slot.
Display case door
A display case including a frame with a first fastener, a door with a second fastener, and a bracket coupling the door to the frame is described. The bracket has a first end coupled a second end. The first end is pivotably coupled to the frame by the first fastener. The first end includes a first pair of spring arms having a first slot to couple to the first fastener and to allow the door to pivot between open and closed positions. The second end is slideably coupled to the door by the second fastener. The second end has detents on a second pair of spring arms and a second slot to allow the second fastener of the door to slide as the door is pivoted between open and closed positions. A first detent is positioned further from the first end of the bracket than a second detent.

A first detent is positioned further from the first end of the bracket than a second detent.
VARIABLE POSITION VEHICLE HOOD STAY DEVICE
A hood stay device for a vehicle includes a housing, support, and latch. A proximal end of the housing is pivotably coupled to the hood or vehicle body. An inner end of the support is within the housing. The support extends through a distal end of the housing to an outer end of the support that is pivotably coupled to the other one of the hood or vehicle body. The support is slidable relative to the housing along an axis and includes teeth arranged in a rack along the axis. The latch is coupled to the housing and movable between locked and unlocked positions relative thereto. When in the locked position, the latch engages the teeth to inhibit movement of the support member along the axis. When in the unlocked position, the latch is apart from the teeth to permit movement of the support along the axis.
