SLIDING TAILGATE FOR A VEHICLE
A tailgate opening system includes a first panel and a second panel forming a tailgate of the vehicle. The vehicle has a first vehicle sidewall and a second vehicle sidewall. A first hinge is coupled between the first panel and the second panel. The first hinge is configured to rotate the second panel toward the first panel, moving the second panel towards the first vehicle sidewall for opening the tailgate sideways.
Cover device
A cover device includes a cover that is displaced between a covering position where an upper side of a striker is covered, and an exposure position where the striker is exposed upward, and an open-close mechanism that displaces the cover to the covering position when a slide door performs an opening operation, and displaces the cover to the exposure position when the slide door performs a closing operation.

Provided is an opening/closing apparatus for a vehicle capable of protecting a cable configured to open and close an opening/closing body even when a large external force is applied to the opening/closing body. A cross-sectional shape of a cable holding groove in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of a cable guide is an arc shape configured to be in surface contact with a closing-side cable and an opening-side cable. Accordingly, a pressing force applied to the closing-side cable and the opening-side cable can be dispersed in a wide range of the closing-side cable and the opening-side cable rather than only in one part.
Sliding door brake assembly
A vehicle sliding door brake assembly configured for attachment to a sliding door mechanism of a vehicle may include a brake member connectable to the sliding door mechanism and configured to rotate about a pivot point, the brake member comprising one or more brake portions for selectively engaging a track of the vehicle so as to provide a braking force. The brake portions may be configured to form an inertial counterweight that urges the brake member to move from a neutral position in which the brake portions are not engaged with the track to an engaged position in which one or more of the brake portions are engaged with the track when a sliding door of the vehicle is subjected to an acceleration exceeding a threshold.
VEHICLE OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS
A vehicle opening and closing apparatus that opens and closes an opening and closing body provided on a vehicle includes: an electric motor that drives the opening and closing body; a position detection part that detects a position of the opening and closing body; a measurement part that measures a current value which flows in the electric motor when the opening and closing body arrives at a predetermined position; a counter that counts up a count value based on the current value; and a determination part that stops, for a predetermined period of time, the next and subsequent opening and closing operation of the opening and closing body when the count value exceeds a first threshold value.

A swing and sliding door device for a vehicle is provided at a lateral side of a chassis cab of a vehicle to selectively swing or slide and configured to open or close an opening formed in the chassis cab and includes doors hingedly and rotatably connected to cab frames, respectively, provided on a first side portion and a second side portion of the chassis cab, the doors being connected to be slidable in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle along sliding rails provided on at least one of upper and lower portions of the chassis cab so that the doors overlap each other, in which a door frame is provided at a position corresponding to the cab frame and configured to be coupled to or decoupled from an end portion of the door, and in which a door arm sliding assembly is provided on the upper or lower portion of the chassis cab and configured to be coupled to or decoupled from at least one of the doors, the door arm sliding assembly being slidable along the sliding rail.

A track door system for an aircraft includes a door having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. A first roller track and a second roller track are aligned adjacent one another on the first side of the door. A third roller track and a fourth roller track are aligned adjacent one another on the second side of the door. A first motion driver is configured to move the door along the first roller track and the second roller track. A second motion driver is configured to move the door along the third roller track and the fourth roller track. A drive unit is operatively coupled to the first motion driver and the second motion driver to provide electromechanical power for cooperatively moving the door forward to an open position or aft to a closed position.
