Drive device for a movable furniture part
A drive device for a movable furniture part includes an ejection force accumulator which can be tensioned, and an ejection element mechanically loaded by the ejection force accumulator and used to carry out an ejection movement of the moveable furniture part from a closed position into an open position. The ejection movement can be initiated by a compression movement of the movable furniture part into a compression position which is behind the closed position. The drive device also comprises a tensioning device for tensioning the ejection force accumulator with energy which can be emitted by the ejection movement. During the compression movement, at least 50% of the energy emitted by the ejection force accumulator during the ejection movement can be introduced into the ejection force accumulator by the tensioning device.
HOLDING AND OPENING MECHANISM
The invention relates to a holding and opening mechanism for a pivoting element, such as a lid, a cover, a door or the like, which is mounted to be pivotable relative to a supporting element such as a housing, a frame or the like about a first axle via a joint, with a pivoting arm acting between the pivoting element and the supporting element, which arm is pivotally mounted about a second axle that is not the same as the first axle, wherein the free end of the pivoting arm acts, preferably via a roller, on a control surface of a guide element, wherein a torsion spring is provided which acts on the pivoting arm in the direction around the second axle, in order to generate a holding and opening force on the pivoting arm and the control surface, comprising a fixed part and a part pivotable relative thereto, with the one part including the guide element and the other part including the pivoting arm, wherein the pivotable part is adapted to be pivotable relative to the fixed part about the joint and the first axle, the pivotable part is connected to the pivoting arm and the pivoting element and the fixed part is connected to the supporting element, wherein the control surface in cooperation with the torsion spring and the pivoting arm determines the holding and opening force via the pivot angle of the pivoting element. The invention is characterized in that a plurality of pivoting arms, guide elements, joints and fixed and pivotable parts are provided, with the pivoting arms being coupled together by a common torsion spring Spin the second axle.
Tailgate Opening Assembly
A tailgate opening assembly includes a tailgate that is hingedly coupled to a trailer. The tailgate is positionable between a closed position and an open position. A pair of biasing members is each coupled to the trailer. Each of the biasing members is biased into a compressed position and each of the biasing members is stretchable into a stretched position. A plurality of pulleys is each coupled to a respective one of the biasing members and the trailer. A pair of cables is each of the cables is routed through respective ones of the pulleys and the tailgate such that the tailgate is in mechanical communication with each of the biasing members. Each of the biasing members assists a user with opening and closing the tailgate.
Door closer
A door closer (10) includes an exterior housing (11), a spring assembly (12), a ratchet assembly (13), and a clutch assembly (14). The housing has a central tube (17), drive collar (23), a top end cap (52), and a bottom end cap (65). The drive collar includes an indexing pin channel (41) and indexing pin (42) which includes a pawl (45) having a contact surface (47) and a curved bearing surface (48). The spring assembly includes a shaft (73), a spring stop (80), and a helical torsion spring (106) positioned upon the shaft. The ratchet assembly resides within drive collar and includes ratchet wheel (111) having an annular array of ratchet teeth (112) configured to mesh with the pawl of the indexing pin. Each tooth has an undercut contact surface (113) and a curved bearing surface (114). The clutch assembly includes a bottom disc (120) and a top disc (121).
WING HINGE FOR A FIELD DEVICE HOUSING AND FIELD DEVICE HOUSING WITH WING HINGE
The present disclosure relates to a wing hinge for a field device housing, including: a first wing having a first and a second holding device, the first holding device configured to connect to the field device housing and to move the first wing about a first axis; a second wing having a third and a fourth holding device, the third holding device configured to connect to the second holding device and to move the second wing relative to the first wing about a second axis, wherein the fourth holding device is connectable to a housing cover as to move the housing cover relative to the second wing about a third axis; and a tensioning element in contact with the first wing and the second wing and configured to move the first wing relative to the second wing about the second axis from a first position into a second position.
Appliance push-to-open system and method of installing the push-to-open system
An appliance is installed within a cabinet such that the appliance is not visible from outside the cabinet when a cabinet door of the cabinet is closed. The appliance includes a compartment and an appliance door that selectively seals the compartment. A push-to-open system is coupled to the appliance door. The push-to-open system includes an arm, a push latch and a spring. The arm connects the appliance door to the cabinet door, and the push latch selectively locks the arm in a locked position. The spring causes movement of the arm from the locked position to an unlocked position when the push latch is unlocked.
Automatic Emergency Door Closure
An automatic emergency door closure is provided that can be used with an existing door by inserting a hinge pin assembly into knuckles of hinge plates associated with the existing door. The hinge pin assembly is movable between a first position where the door is held in a regular use position in which it can be opened and closed and a second position where the door is released to a closed position. This movement from the first position to the second position may be as a result of a variety of triggers, including a message transmitted from a remote location or nearby heat. The assembly may include a hinge pin body that is inserted into the knuckles, a torsion spring that is configured to rotate the hinge pin body, and an activator that can be activated by the trigger to enable rotation of the hinge pin body.
