A DAMPENED HINGE ASSEMBLY
A dampened hinge assembly has a male leaf and a female leaf. The female leaf has spaced apart first and second end barrels coaxially rotating with respect to a central barrel of the male leaf therebetween. An axial shaft is fixed to the second end barrel of the female leaf at a proximal end of the axial shaft. The axial shaft has a distal helicoidally threaded spindle. A compression gear having a helicoidally threaded bore matching the helicoidal thread of the spindle displaces towards the first end barrel when the leaves move into alignment and towards the second end barrel when the leaves move out of alignment. The dampened hinge assembly may be reconfigured to provide soft closure, end-of-range soft closure and/or backcheck damping.
MECHANICAL SPRING APPLIED IN FLOORS FOR OPENING AND CLOSING OF DOORS
A device to be installed in any type of door, be it of glass, wood, aluminum or steel, in order to allow its automatic and controlled opening or closing, with minimum effort. The configuration 10 consists of a cap 20 and a wrapper 30, having in the inner part of the wrapper a plate-type spring 40, a fixed drum cam 50 and a movable drum cam 60. If the mechanical spring is installed in the center of the door, it can be rotated 360 degrees with displacement points at 90 degrees and 270 degrees and stop points at 180 degrees and 360 degrees.
FOUR-BAR LINKAGE HINGE
A hinge is coupled to a first component and a second component. The hinge supports the second component for movement relative to the first component between a closed position covering an opening through the first component and an opened position displaced from the opening. The hinge includes a first bracket coupled to the second component, a second bracket coupled to the first component, a support link coupled to the first and second brackets, and a control link coupled to the first and second brackets. Rotation of the support link relative to the first bracket causes rotation of the first component relative to the second component and relative to the support link.
Hydraulically damped, self-closing hinge
A hinge for coupling a closure member to a support includes a first hinge member and a second hinge member pivotably mounted on the first hinge member through the intermediary of two rolling bearings that are placed between different abutments. The hinge further includes a damping mechanism for damping a closing movement of the closure member; and an energy storing mechanism for storing energy when opening the closure member and using the energy to close the closure member. One of the rolling bearings supports the weight of a right-handed closure member while the other of the rolling bearings supports the weight of a left-handed closure member if the first hinge member is always fixed to the same element.
FEATURES FOR CABLE MANAGERS AND OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT STRUCTURES
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction. The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.
HINGED SAFETY GATE
Hinged safety gates and methods for controlling access to an elevated work surface are disclosed. The hinged safety gate can include a gate frame and a retainer assembly. The gate frame can have a distal upright member, an upper cross-arm, and a lower cross-arm. The upper cross-arm can have an upper cross-arm height (or vertical dimension), and the lower cross-arm can have a lower cross-arm height. The hinged safety gate can have a retainer assembly that is configured to be attached to a proximal end of the gate frame and to hingedly couple the gate frame to a stationary vertical surface, permitting the gate frame to swing between an open and a closed position. Some embodiments satisfy various spatial safety requirements with only two cross-arms. Some embodiments are horizontally adjustable in two different manners to accommodate a range of access area widths.
Motor-integrated power trunk opening system and vehicle having the same
A motor-integrated power trunk opening system applied to a vehicle may include a hinge arm which is divided into a power side portion and an interlocking side portion to support left and right end portions of a trunk lid covering a trunk compartment, and an actuator which is mounted to the power side hinge arm and moves the hinge arm upwards using generated power so that the trunk lid opens

AIRCRAFT PANEL SYSTEM, AIRCRAFT, AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE AIRCRAFT PANEL SYSTEM
An aircraft panel system including a first panel, having a hinged coupling configured to couple the first panel to an aircraft structure, a second panel disposed adjacent to the first panel such that the first panel and the second panel together form cabin surface of an aircraft, and a latch mechanism configured to releasably couple the second panel to the aircraft structure, where the first panel is configured to pivot about the hinged coupling from a latched position to an actuation position to actuate the latch mechanism and cause a release of the second panel from the latch mechanism.
