Pet guide platform for a pet door opening
A pet apparatus that facilitates the movement of a household pet through a pet door opening provided in a door at the head of a stairway leading to a lower level of a building. The invention comprises a rigid platform member engaged with a barrier member, and a support member that is attached to the stairway door to safely redirect the pet to travel in a left or right direction, relative to the pet door opening, to prevent the pet from falling down the stairway. A collapsible embodiment of the invention incorporates foldability. Additional embodiments to the collapsible embodiment include manual, cord, and spring-operated foldability. The device is intended for use in combination with commonly available pet doors.
Gate
A gate comprises a spring-loaded hinge arrangement defining a rotational axis. A gate structure having a first support arm connected to a first end of the hinge arrangement is also provided. The gate structure is rotatable about the rotational axis. A spring-loaded hinge arrangement includes an outer hinge tube fixedly connectable to an adjacent structure and an inner hinge tube received in the outer hinge tube. The inner hinge tube has a first portion and a second portion movable with respect to each other, the second portion of the inner hinge tube being fixed with respect to the outer hinge tube and the first portion of the inner hinge tube being fixed with respect to the support arm.
FEATURES FOR CABLE MANAGERS AND OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT STRUCTURES
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction. The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.
REFRIGERATOR
Disclosed herein is a refrigerator. The refrigerator comprising, a housing comprising a storage compartment, a door configured to open or close the storage compartment, a rotating bar provided at the door to be rotatable and configured to be located at a first position when the door opens the storage compartment and to be located at a second position lower than the first position when the door closes the storage compartment, and a guide part provided at the housing and configured to guide rotating of the rotating bar.
Condition activated door spring
The present invention provides device that replaces the hinge pin in a door hinge to provide a door with automatic closing technology, triggered by the device's detection of an adverse condition in the surrounding environment, such as a fire or gas leak, the device including a lower extension pin that slides into the space conventionally occupied by the hinge pin, first and second arms that apply opposing rotational force to the door and door jam, respectively, when the device is activated, and a condition detection module employing at least one sensor and an activation system to activate the device upon the sensor's detection of an adverse environmental condition to close the door.
COMPACT HINGE ACTUATING DEVICE
A compact hinge actuating device comprising at least one hinge comprising at least one hinge plate and at least one knuckle. In one embodiment there is at least one sensor and/or fuse element coupled to said at least one hinge and at least one microprocessor coupled to the at least one hinge. There is also at least one drive coupled to the at least one hinge, wherein when the sensor receives input of a condition, and/or the fuse fails then the drive can be actuated. In the electronic version, the microprocessor reads the input as exceeding a minimum threshold value of a predetermined condition, the microprocessor then triggers the at least one drive to close or open the at least one hinge. In at least one embodiment the drive can be a spring, in another embodiment the drive can be a solenoid.
DRIVE SYSTEM FOR OPENING AND CLOSING A MOTOR-VEHICLE DOOR, AND MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING THE DRIVE SYSTEM
A drive system for a motor vehicle door is provided including an electric motor and a hinge for fastening the motor vehicle door. The hinge includes a door leaf, a body leaf for attachment to the body and a hinge pin arranged coaxially to the hinge axis and rotatably mounted on the body leaf. The electric motor includes a stator and a rotor arranged coaxially with the hinge axis in the stator and mounted rotatably about the hinge axis relative to the stator. The hinge pin is disposed in sections within the rotor, the rotor being coupled to the hinge pin in a gearless manner to transmit rotation. The drive system includes a tolerance ring arranged between the rotor and the hinge pin for transmitting the rotation from the rotor to the hinge pin, wherein the tolerance ring is coupled frictionally to the hinge pin or to the rotor.
HINGED SAFETY GATE
Hinged safety gates and methods for controlling access to an elevated work surface are disclosed. The hinged safety gate can include a gate frame and a retainer assembly. The gate frame can have a distal upright member, an upper cross-arm, and a lower cross-arm. The upper cross-arm can have an upper cross-arm height (or vertical dimension), and the lower cross-arm can have a lower cross-arm height. The hinged safety gate can have a retainer assembly that is configured to be attached to a proximal end of the gate frame and to hingedly couple the gate frame to a stationary vertical surface, permitting the gate frame to swing between an open and a closed position. Some embodiments satisfy various spatial safety requirements with only two cross-arms. Some embodiments are horizontally adjustable in two different manners to accommodate a range of access area widths.
DOOR HINGE AND STORAGE UNIT INCLUDING SUCH A DOOR HINGE
A hinge for a door of a storage unit, the hinge including a first bracket and a second bracket. The hinge further including a linking mechanism for coupling the second bracket to the first bracket so that the second bracket is able to translate and rotate relative to the first bracket, wherein a maximum amount of rotation of the second bracket relative to the first bracket is not determined solely by operation of the linking mechanism.
