An actuating drive for driving a movably mounted furniture part comprises an actuating arm connecting to the furniture part. The actuating arm is designed to be movable between a first and a second end position, and a damper is provided for damping a movement of the actuating arm into the first end position and a movement of the actuating arm into the second end position. The damper performs a damping stroke during the damping, and a coupling mechanism is provided for coupling the actuating arm or an actuating part connectable thereto to the damper if the movements of the actuating arm into the two end positions. The coupling mechanism has an actuator for performing the damping stroke of the damper, and the actuator acts on the damper when the actuating arm is moved into the first end position and when the actuating arm is moved into the second end position.

The object of the invention is the hinge for controlled door closing and opening with damper which solves the technical problem of smooth and controlled closing and opening of the door before the end positions of the hinge, i.e. the open or closed position of the door. The damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26) are always in contact with two of the limiting surfaces, i.e. two of the following: the damper stop on the housing for closing (21), the damper stop on the housing for opening (22), the damper stop on the guide for opening (23) and the damper stop on the guide for closing (24), whereby the damper (5) in the initial position constantly applies force in the direction of extension, meaning that the damper (5) constantly applies force to increase the distance between the damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26), whereas the hinge guide (3) is dimensioned in such a way that the distance between the damper stop on the guide for opening (23) and the damper stop on the guide for closing (24) is smaller than the maximum distance between the damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26).

Each hinge part (100, 200) has a base plate (110, 210) with a guide track (112, 212) and a link (120, 220), the links (120, 220) being connected to each other at a bearing axle (123). Each link (120, 220) has a first hinged joint (121, 221) to the respective base plate (110, 210) and a sliding joint (122, 222) slidably received in the guide track (212, 112) in the base plate (210, 110) of the other hinge part (200, 100). A pick-up element (130, 230) is connected to the base plate (110, 210) in a second hinged joint (131, 231) and is biased by a spring (140, 240) to act on the sliding joint (222, 122) in the guide track (112, 212), for instance within a predefined angle interval.

The bearing portion has a cavity accommodating the spring device.
