DIGITAL DOOR
An automatic door opening apparatus for a vehicle. Two and three hinge joint embodiments with motors at each hinge joint to control motion of the door opening apparatus relative to the vehicle at that hinge joint. The motors are individually programmable to customize the door opening apparatus and movement to different vehicles. The motors can be in alignment or out-of-alignment with the hinge joints, but in either case the motor controls motion of the hinged components at the associated hinge joint. When a motor is out-of-alignment with the hinge joint it controls, then pulley wheels and belts can be used to connect the motor to the hinge joint. The door opening apparatus can also include a floor track, and a door arm that connects the door to the floor track.
VEHICLE DOOR DEVICE
A vehicle door device includes first and second link arms having a first rotary coupling point with respect to a vehicle body and a second rotary coupling point with respect to a front door of a vehicle. The front door is opened toward a vehicle front side based on an operation of a link mechanism formed of the first and second link arms. The first link arm has the first rotary coupling point inside a dash panel provided at a front portion of a vehicle interior.
VEHICLE DOOR DEVICE
A vehicle door device includes first and second link arms having a first rotary coupling point with respect to a vehicle body and a second rotary coupling point with respect to a front door of a vehicle. The front door is opened toward a vehicle front side based on an operation of a link mechanism formed of the first and second link arms. The first link arm has the first rotary coupling point inside a dash panel provided at a front portion of a vehicle interior.
MODIFIED DOOR OPERATION FOR A MOTORIZED VEHICLE
A door opening assembly is provided for moving a door of a vehicle between an open position and a closed position. The assembly includes a frame member coupled to the vehicle, a link is coupled to the frame member, and a link arm pivotally coupled to the link. A pivot arm is pivotally coupled to the frame member and a pivot bracket is pivotally coupled to the door and the pivot arm. The pivot bracket includes a slot such that a pin on the link arm slides therethrough. The assembly includes a gear rack and a gear operably coupled to the gear rack. The gear is driven by a motor as the door moves between its open and closed positions. The assembly further includes a guide track coupled to the vehicle and a roller rotatably driven along the guide track as the door moves between its open and closed positions.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR OVERRIDING POWERED VEHICLE DOOR
Some embodiments are directed to a vehicle door assembly that includes a vehicle door, which defines an interior and is connected to the motor by the linkage, such that actuation of the actuator engages the motor, which thereby moves the vehicle door via the linkage. The vehicle door assembly also includes a powered door override. At least a portion of the powered door override can be disposed within the interior of the vehicle door. The powered door override is configured to disconnect the linkage from the motor so as to isolate the motor from the vehicle door and thereby enable the vehicle door to be moved manually. An interior panel is connected to the vehicle door so as to cover at least a portion of the interior of the vehicle door, such that the powered door override is at least partially enclosed between the interior panel and the vehicle door.
CENTRAL POP-UP GEARBOX ON STANDARD PLATFORM MOTOR
An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a panel for opening and closing an opening in the fixed roof of the vehicle by means of at least one lever assembly connected to the panel. A stationary frame is fitted in the opening of the fixed roof. A drive motor is placed in the vicinity of the rear edge of the opening and in the vicinity of a longitudinal center line of the opening. The drive motor comprises an output shaft having a center axis which is perpendicular to a center axis of a rotor shaft of the drive motor. The drive motor is connected to a motor support which is attached to the frame by means of vibration dampers. The motor support supports a separate gearbox which is capable of transferring the driving torque from the drive motor to the at least one lever assembly connected to the panel.
CENTRAL POP-UP GEARBOX ON STANDARD PLATFORM MOTOR
An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a panel for opening and closing an opening in the fixed roof of the vehicle by means of at least one lever assembly connected to the panel. A stationary frame is fitted in the opening of the fixed roof. A drive motor is placed in the vicinity of the rear edge of the opening and in the vicinity of a longitudinal center line of the opening. The drive motor comprises an output shaft having a center axis which is perpendicular to a center axis of a rotor shaft of the drive motor. The drive motor is connected to a motor support which is attached to the frame by means of vibration dampers. SLIDING DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A sliding door for a vehicle, which is applicable to a door portion to which a straight rail is difficult to be applied, may include a door rail mounted in a door which is configured to be closed to a vehicle body in a vertical direction of the vehicle; a vehicle body rail mounted in the vehicle body to which the door is configured to be closed in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle; and a moving arm having one end portion which is movably coupled along the door rail in the vertical direction to open or close the door in a transverse of the vehicle body during moving, and the other end portion which is movably coupled along the vehicle body rail in a longitudinal direction to allow the door to be slidingly moved in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body during moving.
Guide Mechanism for Sliding Door
A guide mechanism for a sliding door includes a rail configured to be mounted on the sliding door, a roller carriage configured to move along the rail, and including a roller bracket and a roller configured to be rotatably mounted on the roller bracket, a hinge arm configured to be pivotally connected to a vehicle body, a first shaft configured to pivotally connect the roller carriage to the hinge arm, and a second shaft configured to pivotally connect the hinge arm to the vehicle body.

A guide mechanism for a sliding door includes a rail configured to be mounted on the sliding door, a roller carriage configured to move along the rail, and including a roller bracket and a roller configured to be rotatably mounted on the roller bracket, a hinge arm configured to be pivotally connected to a vehicle body, a first shaft configured to pivotally connect the roller carriage to the hinge arm, and a second shaft configured to pivotally connect the hinge arm to the vehicle body.
